This cottage was one of the best ABNB stays I have had! The place was spotless. The floor plan layout was an excellent use of the space. I was very comfortable staying here, the whole process worked well. Great stay!

Lovely cabin surrounded by forest. Great walks just outside front porch. Comfy cabin inside. Such a great place to just hang out in, and of course, the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area is filled with more incredible nature. We had a great time and plan to return!

We had a delightful stay in the cabin! The setting is so serene and beautiful, and the cabin was homey, perfectly appointed and extremely clean. I couldn’t have been happier. The ONLY thing I’d recommend would be an umbrella for the patio table (perhaps there was one in a closet, and I missed it!). Jake greeted us when we arrived, adding a personal touch. It was nice to know they were around if we needed anything, but otherwise we were left alone to enjoy our stay. I enjoyed learning more about the cabin and its/our hosts’ backstory (in the binder). Would definitely stay again and would enthusiastically recommend.

If you are looking for a cozy place in Ferndale this is the place to stay, just hit the reserve button. This cute, romantic and easy to find space is so well curated great touches of modern and Vintage. The host was so responsive. Definitely would come back if I was in the area.

Oh what a hidden gem this place is! I walked in and immediately felt at home thanks to its natural charm as well as the host’s thoughtful touches. The space itself is filled with natural light and very conveniently located. I had rented a car and had no issue at all with unloading/finding street parking. Plus there’s a sweet waterfall super close by and it’s very quick drive to Muir Woods and Stinson beach. It’s one of those homes that can you can tell was designed thoughtfully - I’m a sucker for high quality appliances. The kitchen is lovely. I was so happy to get to cook meals on my trip and feel a bit of the grounding energy of a farm while being in a town/not too far from SF. 10/10 highly recommend!

Such a gem! couldn't have asked for a better situation for a mother-daughter bonding weekend. such a beautiful setting, an awesome location for adventuring and a friendly and incredibly responsive host.

It was a great location some what like a getaway, it was very comfortable for me and my wife and the hosts were very helpful any time I had a question or needed anything . Thanks for the beautiful spotless home and great experience.

Overall, the place was amazing! My wife loved all the trees and scenery. She took a bath on the deck every night. It was very peaceful and private. I personally felt like the inside was a little small. The sauna was nice but it takes up half of the lodge. If the weather was cold or raining like did while we were there, there wasn’t much to inside. There isn’t really a seating area (unless you count the sauna) or tv. Quinn was very helpful whenever we had a question and was quick to respond and resolve any issues. The lodge is great for a couple who is trying to get away, unplug and relax. 5 stars!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this tiny home in Eureka on our road trip up the coast from San Francisco to Portland. The property looked exactly like the pictures and was colourful, peaceful and self contained. We loved sitting out on the porch in the morning and evening, watching hummingbirds come to the feeder and hearing birds in the trees. My partner also loved the yoga matts that were provided, and enjoyed doing yoga outside on the porch. We would definitely recommend this AirBnB- great location, lovely and relaxing and very responsive and helpful hosts!

Fantastic place to stay for a weekend escape. Loved waking up amongst the redwoods, clear night skies and Sea Ranch exploring. Very cute place to stay with everything you need. Richard was great with communication and clear instructions so we were totally independent. Loved being able to use the Sea Ranch pools and pickeball. Will definitely be coming again!

Such a peaceful place with the most incredible views. The neighborhood is so lovely and very quiet. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back when we are visit the Bay Area .

What a Wonderful Magical Pl., The Hobbit house was amazing as well as their breakfast was wonderful very attentive to all our needs. We would love to stay there again thank you very much for your hospitality Elena.

It’s a very private abode even though you share a gated entrance with the owner. Barry couldn’t have been friendlier and had a great spirt about him. We nerded out on landscaping, tiny homes, and rivers. He sold me on giving the American River some of my time this year. I’d absolutely stay here again. The only real issue was the effort to climb down a ladder half awake. I did it in the dark so I wouldn’t lose my cat eyes and wake up too fast. There’s plenty of outside lounging areas and the views are pretty. I had a decent view of the night sky to the east and above. The town may be busy but you’re perched hillside under some great live oaks. The neighborhood was full of quiet families and quirky houses that are truly Marin County in nature. Open space trails are just uphill and the town is just down. It’s very convenient to everything.

Karen takes hosting to a whole new level! We (two couples) were over-the-top impressed with the thoughtful details that made for a fabulous stay. At arrival, we noticed a vase of fresh picked flowers, beautiful landscaping out the windows, and a well stocked kitchen that would satisfy the most persnickety foodie! Too many benefits packed into the two cottages to list, but here are some of what stood out to us: Radiant heated floor in the separate cottage to warm our feet in the morning, an abundance of coffee making options, thoughtful and interesting artwork and book selection, lounge chairs and hot tub on the main deck, and a soak in the private outdoor tub under star filled sky. We grilled on the BBQ our first night, and sat around the table and told each other how glad we were to have reserved such a wonderful place. The next day one of us read and napped in the reading nook—a day bed wrapped with windows and skylight, which catches the afternoon sun. Thank-you Karen!

We had a lovely stay - enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after exploring Howland Road Redwood trails all day and it was incredible! The home and hot tub were super private and a very short drive to magnificent Redwood hiking. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moon Shack! Cozy, quirky (in adorable ways), private...it was a perfect getaway spot for us. We would definitely stay there again should we travel to Gualala! Judy was super responsive and helpful. Check it out for yourself!!

We stayed here with our dog and had a great time. The property is close to town, but feels very secluded. Our dog loved the property and the cabin was very cozy.

Diana's guest house was such a cozy and comfortable stay for my family (two adults & a toddler). There were many thoughtful touches from the host. The bed was cozy and there was enough space for all of us and our things. The location is lovely and quiet, we felt safe and had no issue with street parking. It's well located to great restaurants and shops. We would love to stay here again sometime, I'm happy to recommend it!

Karin is a wonderful and caring host! I really loved how she welcomed my dog and cared about my dog's well being as much as my own. She even brought over some dried nettles and taught me some helpful things to feed my dog better food !! That is rare and definitely noted and appreciated. The bathtub was fun, the heater works great and made a cozy space, and the neighborhood is peaceful and lovely to walk around. Nice snacks and comfortable bed, was a great place to hide from the rainstorms. Great airBnB, thank you Karin!!
