This home’s 180+ degree views encompass a wide sailboard and surfers beach, Wellington airport’s final-approach flight path (which is quiet) and the mouth of Wellington Harbor. Therefore it is fun, fascinating and fulfilling.

Loved our stay ! Grant (and Ollie) were super friendly and looked after us excellenly. We all ejoyed the pool and spa pool - especially the pool toys and sun lounges. The views were stunning and was the perfect county escape for our small family. Highly recommend staying here !

This place was beautiful, proximity to everything was so good for us on our stay and the house itself was very comforting. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

We had a wonderful stay at Shanti's place. The tent is super cozy and has everything you need to get a feeling of luxery while being outside in nature. The river that flows through her garden makes you calm down and the sun deck is perfect to just relax on. We slept like roses in the big comfortable bed and she even had bathrobes hanging which were nice and cozy after using the outdoor shower. Lots of things to do and see around the area to or to just have a coffee or drink. Definitely recommend this place! :)

Really lovely quiet location close to Hamilton. We arrived late and had to leave early so we didn’t manage to meet our hosts. Instructions were easy to follow.

Had a lovely stay with Carol and Geoff. They are very welcoming hosts and the bed is comfortable and the bedroom wonderfully quiet and dark. Such a treat to have fresh fruit from their garden too. Highly recommended!

The stay was very pleasant and the quality of the lodging was excellent. We loved the location and the tranquil setting. We were immediately met with their wonderful pet dog, which we truly loved (which is amazing since we tend to be cat oriented). We plan to visit this lodging in future vacations.

We stayed at Karens place for two nights. Nice location in a quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful backyard and gardens. Karen was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. The place was very clean and tidy, had everything we needed and had nice comfortable beds too. I would definitely recommend Karens place to all.

We did not meet the hosts who were unexpectedly away and were redirected to Bird Cottage at no extra cost. Communication was great, the cottage ( a renovated old schoolhouse) was spacious,very peaceful, and had all the amenities we needed. Clean and comfortable and light breakfast provided. Beautiful outlook and a great spot to break a long journey

We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay and Ginie and Bob’s place. It really was originally a boat house, converted into a studio stand-alone apartment. A lot of thought went into making this small place suitable for guests. We adored all the breakfasts items Ginie provided for our three night stay. The banana bread and frittatas were standouts, but also lots of cereal, fruit, fresh dairy products and more. Outside, we enjoyed sitting by the lake after long days of exploring the area. So peaceful! Even duck food was provided for having fun with the ducks on the lake. There is a new spa that they welcome guests to enjoy. Our busy schedule didn’t permit us to take advantage of it, but I would prefer it to sitting in a sulfur-smelling spa in town. Ginie and Bob are genuinely kind and personable, if you have the opportunity to say hi.

Marty and Lous place is so very nice!!! The space is large, comfortable and welcoming!! The outdoor space is fantastic and location is quiet but close to many things to do. We would highly recommend staying with them!! They were always ready to offer suggestions and advice and their advice was always spot on!!! Very good stay!!!!

Barbara and Ewen were lovely hosts. Any question I sent to them was answered promptly. They were friendly helpful and engaging, but never intrusive. They were flexible with breakfast timing to accommodate my schedule and I could come and go as I pleased. I would highly recommend them and their lovely home to anyone.

Colin’s place is one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed in; his hospitality is unmatched! He was super kind and picked us up from the bus stop near his house, even though it was a <10 min walk from the stop to the house. He also dropped us off at a nearby winery, saving us a bit of time :) The place itself was perfect for a one night stay in Waiheke, close to multiple bus lines and easy to navigate around. The continental breakfast was delightful as well. Highly recommended!!

Such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - best viewed from the spa! We were very comfortable and definitely recommend to others.

A lovely, peaceful place, with fruit tress and friendly honey bees! The bed was very comfortable, though firmer than we’re used to. Great vibe in the place, and David was friendly and helpful throughout. The spa in the evening under the starts was a wonderful experience too. A+ from us!

Linda was absolutely amazing. She serves a hot breakfast of toast and eggs with fresh fruit coconut yogurt. We had some lovely chats with Linda as well. We would recommend her place to anyone. It’s about 2.5 hours away from Cape Reinga which is a perfect day trip from Linda’s.

Absolute wow factor. I would love to stay again! Lisa, Andrew and Lana are so friendly and accomodating. Lisa has taken such pride in her home. Highly recommend!!! I’ll be back for sure! Xo

This modern cottage is the perfect place to spend a few days in Havelock North, and is less than a five minute walk to the village. A spacious living/sleeping area, with an equally spacious bathroom and wonderful walk in shower. It is in a very peaceful location, with the cottage set at the back of a beautiful garden and well off the road. Trish & Don are lovely hosts, great with communication, and add plenty of home touches including providing continental breakfast, offer of e-bikes, and fresh figs from the fruit trees. Thank you for having me stay! 🌸

Beautiful location and property. Loved that pool! Loved how peaceful it was and felt like we were out of town and we were literally just up the road from our home. Jane was super helpful too. We’re thinking we’ll book here every year for our anniversary ♥️

Steve and Pauline’s place is simply stunning! Loved the way the property was designed and tastefully decorated. A lot of personal touches to the space add to the experience. The hot pool after a long day is a great addition to the property. Pauline’s homemade fare definitely needs a special mention with the different jams and the rustic bread. We truly had a great time at the property and will definitely recommend Kahuimanu to family and friends visiting the region.
