Incredible stay! Andrea send very clear instruction on finding the place and checking in! Andrea’s place is such an amazing place to switch off and enjoy nature. Super clean and smelt so good! Loved the outside bath and little golf putting green! There’s so many little extras that make this place so special. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place that will give you good memories.

Kate and Callum were fantastic hosts who went well beyond their obligations to make us feel at home and welcome. They were super friendly and responded to all our needs immediately. The house was fantastic, in fact as good as any other accommodation we have had in NZ. This property comes with our highest recommendation.

We absolutely loved the late-century family home right at the beach front. It was extremely peaceful and although the beach wasn’t safe for swimming it wasn’t too far to get to Waipatiki or the Napier town beaches. The views are absolutely stunning - day and night! The home is very specious and flooded with sunlight. Highly recommend to experience it yourself 🤗

Linda & Graeme were the perfect hosts. Everything about our stay was first class, from the very nice rooms to the amazing breakfast in the morning. They included a drop-off and pick-up (late at night) in their van from the wedding venue which was 20 minutes out of town, which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay there again when we need accommodation in the area.

We had an amazing time during our stay! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect escape. It’s truly a fantastic spot for larger groups looking to create unforgettable memories together.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel's beautiful home in sunny Te Awanga, the whole family enjoyed time together relaxing by the pool, playing, laughing and enjoying each others company. We read through the vast collection of books on the coffee table and played cards and board games at night. The house is spacious with lots of lovely seating areas to relax. Annabel is a wonderful host, she was helpful, friendly and responded to all of our queries immediately. The house has a great layout with amazing indoor/outdoor flow, the pool was a big hit with the family. The stunning art collection on the walls will delight your eyes. The bedrooms are comfortable and dreamy to relax away summer afternoons. Herbs in the garden, lemons on the tree and fresh flowers in the house to greet us were lovely touches. The location is great with the beach just across the road and pizza under the shade of trees at Te Awanga vineyard only a hop skip and a jump from the house. Thank you Annabel, we had the just the kind of holiday we were looking for. We have all come home refreshed and rejuvenated.

Trish was a Gem! She was so helpful and concerned about our comfort and rest. She provided a great place to relax and walk to the beach! Her gardens and patio were so comfortable and exciting we didn't need to go anywhere! Hope to see her again some day!

We had a wonderful stay at Sue’s place! It was very comfortable and in a great location - very close to the beach and in a nice quiet street. The surrounding garden is lovely and peaceful. The place had everything we needed for our stay and Sue also kindly provided tea, coffee, milk and plenty of spreads for toast. Sue was lovely and quick to respond to all my messages. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Ōakura!

Neville gave us a very friendly welcome and made us feel welcome immediately. He gave us lots of tips about the area. That afternoon, we decided to head to the beach, which is less than a minute away and simply breathtakingly beautiful, with only few people and great for swimming even at low tide. The apartment is perfectly equipped and everything is very clean. A special surprise was the home-roasted coffee and homemade jam that were waiting for us the next morning. We regretted staying only one night and definitely would stay here again. We absolutely recommend this wonderful place.

Absolutely beautiful place: well designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a stunning view over Wellington harbor. The funicular access adds a bit of magic to the experience. Lovely, simple breakfast left for us. The location is perfect—a short walk from Wellington’s central business district. Loved our stay here.

Julia and her husband are amazing hosts. The directions to their home were spot on. The kitchen was stocked so well one could stay there a week and never have to shopping. They really exceeded any expectation anyone would have of a host. They recommended we go to another town for something called the Beach Hop - what an amazing experience. Thanks to Julia, it was an amazing day. They provided a shovel for use at the Hot Water Beach. All in all this was simply one great place to stay. We were there for three nights but felt so comfortable, if time had permitted, we would have stayed longer. One suggestion though is that if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. Although you are perched on a hillside, downtown is a short stroll downhill

I had such a great stay at this apartment.. the morning sun, relaxing sea views and a coffee machine on hand made waking up a breeze. Very comfortable bed and shops, eateries only foot steps away. Would love to stay here again on my next trip to Napier, NZ!!

We loved our little stay at The Studio. Providing GFDF items in the pantry and fridge was very thoughtful and appreciated. The space was very clean, accurately described and spacious. Helen left us to do our own thing whilst also being available if we needed any suggestions on local amenities. We loved staying here!

What a great experience! The apartment was stylishly decorated with all of the amenities needed and such a lovely view. The hosts were friendly and helpful with what to do in the area and where to eat. We definitely want to come back and stay longer!

Excellent stay. The welcome was easy and friendly the house is fabulous as are the grounds. The beds were very comfortable annd beautifully decorated annd maintained. Although the owners were next door they were not intrusive. The breakfast was awesome huge quantities and all home made and healthy. We all really enjoyed our stay so highly recommend for business, whanau, or just a couples retreat.

Linda's bnb was adorable. Very comfortable, clean, full of delightful little extras. Linda came over to have a chat and make sure everything was to our liking. She gave us a run down on the local area and further afield. A very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend

Val was very welcoming and even picked me up from the airport and baked fresh bread for breakfast 😊 room was very cosy and clean with private bathroom. Perfect for my stay before setting off on the Heaphy and easy pickup from The Sands the next morning.

We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay and Ginie and Bob’s place. It really was originally a boat house, converted into a studio stand-alone apartment. A lot of thought went into making this small place suitable for guests. We adored all the breakfasts items Ginie provided for our three night stay. The banana bread and frittatas were standouts, but also lots of cereal, fruit, fresh dairy products and more. Outside, we enjoyed sitting by the lake after long days of exploring the area. So peaceful! Even duck food was provided for having fun with the ducks on the lake. There is a new spa that they welcome guests to enjoy. Our busy schedule didn’t permit us to take advantage of it, but I would prefer it to sitting in a sulfur-smelling spa in town. Ginie and Bob are genuinely kind and personable, if you have the opportunity to say hi.

Such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - best viewed from the spa! We were very comfortable and definitely recommend to others.
