I LOVE this little apartment! It had everything we needed. We rented it for a month whilst visiting our son who lives in Auckland and used it as a base for visiting New Zealand, but each time we left and came back it felt like coming home! Lovely cosy space for what we needed, plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants within easy reach but despite this it was lovely and quiet (apart from the neighbours dogs once in a while) Carol is the perfect host, very helpful and not at all intrusive. I messaged her a few times and she was always very responsive. We asked for a late checkout as our flight wasn’t until the evening and she kindly let us stay whole day. We would definitely stay here again, when we’re next in Auckland!

The accommodation is 11/10 with a 6 star rating for everything one needs for an escape. Modern, minimalist really private in a bustling area. We loved our stay and will return again. Thanks to Denise. Excellent comms and a few personal touches.

This was by far one of the best airbnbs I've stayed in not just because of the central location of the beautiful house, but primarily because of the awesomeness of the host Brenda. She is extremely accomodating and helpful. She was available whenever I texted. Her house is located centrally and is better than how it is described. It has partial bay view, and is even taller than the nearby hotels. Super convenient paid parking available within the building if requested beforehand. Walkable from Lambton Quay. If this airbnb is available, go ahead and book without any doubt.

Fantastic location! Walkable to Cuba Street and Courtenay Place. The place itself was very clean and homely. We would highly recommend staying here!

What a perfect place for a couple of days or a week. Right on the bus line. Near the war museum. Jack is great. Lovely time.

We loved staying here! We were able to communicate with the hosts with ease. The Airbnb is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores and everything in between. Irene is really accomodating and had come down to check on us to see if we needed anything which was nice. The facilities were great. Personally, the pictures don’t do the property justice! We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and homely it was. Most definitely would stay here again if I’m in the area next time😊

We had a great 3-day stay at Nick's place and would be happy to stay here again. The private balcony is clearly the star of the show with its garden, grill, jacuzzi ("spa pool" in Kiwi-speak), and Sky Tower view. The condo is in a great location (I recommend the Grey Lynn butcher shop to make best use of Nick's grill) while still being quiet & private. And Nick himself is easily among the best Airbnb hosts I've interacted with –– he went above & beyond to make sure that check in & check out were at times that made sense for us, he's got a great sense of humor ("humour" in Kiwi-speak), and generally speaking he seemed to genuinely care that we had a fun experience.

Mathilde was an excellent host. She accommodated us checking in early to drop of our bags, and very welcoming and friendly. The place was great and suited us perfectly for a couple of nights while we were attending a wedding.

Lovely place, fantastic view, the laundry and dryer was very convenient. Easy check in and no problems at all!

This was all we had hoped for and more. Everything about it was just right, everything we needed was there. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped. Our resident neighbour at No.2 was most helpful and altogether we were delighted and grateful to be able to stay the extra days there that were needed when one of our party was unwell. We absolutely loved our stay at Mary Ann’s house, Ara Station! Mary Ann was incredibly kind and welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed her delicious homemade breakfast. She even provided some toys for our 5-year-old daughter, which she absolutely loved! The house itself is beautiful, filled with natural light, and offers an amazing view. It’s so peaceful and quiet—falling asleep to the sounds of birds and the ocean was perfect. We enjoyed walking to the lake and even further to the waterfall. The lake is wonderful for swimming, and Mary Ann’s recommendation to visit Fairy Falls was spot on—it was absolutely stunning. After a long journey, this was the perfect place to arrive and unwind. We highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful 3 days stay at Vicki's house. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and lounge. Kitchen had everything you need. Vicki was great to deal with, so lovely and helpful. awesome views, very private. Would highly recommended Vicki's place. Kind Regards Mike and Shaz WA

Perfect retreat space during a very busy stay in Auckland. Great bathroom and comfortable beds. Being able to bring our small dog Rosie the Min Pin with us made the stay all the better! Safe environment with a nice park nearby for early morning walks. Would love to stay again next time we are in Auckland Thank you Gila

Really great place we enjoyed our stay the balcony is really nice to sit on great sunsets and the sound proofing is quite good so you don’t hear the motorway. Really close to Albany mall and the surrounding bays, so many great places to eat. And it was only 20 mins into the city. Would recommend it for a super affordable stay in Auckland.

Karina and Ninos place is absolutely lovely! A beautiful spot and surroundings. Wish we stayed longer, we will be back. And fantastic hosts. We loved their little guy Wazza too ❤️ highly recommend! Our little doggies loved it too.

Central location. We walked around into the city and to the marina without issue. Plenty of bus routes if you prefer. The supermarket is around the corner. Plenty of options for bars/cafes within walking distance. We have two kids and found a huge playground and grassed area just across the road. Pool and gym in the building was an added pleasure. Robert was great to converse with and was quick in reply :) Would definitely book again if visiting again.

We loved our stay at Gay’s pool suite. The decorations were so charming, the gardens lush, the pool so fun right outside. And Gay made a bunch of garden games available to our kids which was awesome. Everything we needed was there. It was a lovely stay.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

We stay in short-term rentals a LOT. Searching for an exceptional property where you know you will be comfortable and enjoy your time there can be stressful. Let me make it easy for you. The 40+ five-star ratings this property has are for good reason. If this property is available for your desired dates, stop searching and book it. The only nit-picky complaint we had was the lighting in the main bedroom's bathroom. There is a window opposite the mirror. While it provides great natural light, you must keep the shade down when using the mirror. Otherwise, the backlight makes it difficult to see your face clearly in the mirror. Bottom line: whether you are staying for a couple of days or several weeks, you will be very happy that you landed in this lovely property.

In terms of cleanliness and beauty, the house and environment were excellent. I highly recommend staying there and enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the house.

Stunning brand new apartment. Comfortable beds and linen. Great view! Well equipped with new appliances, everything was just gorgeous. Really helpful host who responded quickly. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
