We had a great stay for a cozy girls weekend. It was a nice relaxing retreat.

My family loved staying at Sarah’s house. Her home and neighborhood were stunning, and there was a lot to do in the area. Check-in was easy and Sarah was very easy to get ahold of when we had questions, which was very appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

Location close to grocery shopping and great restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked beyond expectation.

This place was really nice. I’m happy we chose it. Loved the river and the hot tub. Simple but perfect. The bathroom door sounds like a ghost is living with you 😂 that just made us laugh tho and close the door completely. It took a bit to figure out where it was coming from. But all in all what a lovely place to spend a few days. Also hosts were very friendly as well

Great location, right on the river! Centrally located with an easy drive to the coast (Bodega Bay), to wine tasting (Napa and Sonoma), to Armstrong Redwoods and to the City (SF). Enjoyed the warmth of the cozy fireplace and hot tub too. This is a charming little cottage which was stocked with all the comforts of home. We appreciate a rental with a comfortable bed and nice bedding which was present at this property. The host was easily reachable and responded quickly. Wonderful stay! Side note: If you are easily prone to motion sickness, be prepared as the roads in the area are pretty curvy.

Beautiful and peaceful cottage surrounded by redwoods. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Would definitely stay again…thank you Ellen!

This was a cute cottage and we had everything we needed. Our grandson was so excited to come over to “our house” to visit he almost didn’t want to go back to his hotel with mom and dad to sleep.

This cottage was so lovely. The bed was comfortable, the space was cozy with everything you could need, clean, and easy to access. Would 10/10 recommend staying here.

Annie was a great host and the place was exactly as described and just what we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. We loved the hot tub in the backyard and the beach cottage feel of the place. Thank you for hosting us!

Is it fancy? No. But it is reasonably priced, in a convenient location, has a great hot tub, and a wonderful host.

If you want a place to relax and break away from the fast lane, this is the spot. And everything is so convenient, from the local grocery market and natural food store to wine tasting and restaurants. Finally, the people who run the local shops in town are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. We will be back!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Jared and Morgan were very upfront on what to expect. If/when we return to the area we would definitely look at staying at the Ophir Inn.

Sundog cottage is lovely! We were so happy to find that it was even more beautiful in person than the pictures. Super clean, great kitchen, deck and backyard were perfect for our dogs and just relaxing and listening to the ocean. The linens are amazing and the beds comfy! Valerie went above and beyond as a host, even left us local eggs, butter and crackers. She was friendly and easy to communicate with. Sundog is a gem and we can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay and Nick was a responsive and kind host. Was a short trip but we felt very cozy. The home is beautiful and you are close to lots of amazing outdoor experiences. Has all the appliances and tools you might need to make dinner! And extremely reasonable and understandable check out instructions.

Beautiful little cottage with nature all around, good for waking up and having a coffee outside. It’s was clean,comfortable, and they made sure there was extra supplies in the closet just Incase.

Last airbnb host canceled on us at the last minute and Stephanie was willing to welcome us and told us to come at any time, which was very important because otherwise we won’t have a place to stay for that night. I really appreciate it. The place is cute and clean, very comfortable to live there. Highly recommended.

Diane’s cottage was the perfect get away in the woods! It’s close to amazing hikes and is the perfect peaceful setting. Her art adorns the cottage and adds a special touch. Diane greeted us warmly and gave us many excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend!

This was my second stay in Francesca's cottage. Of the several rentals I've enjoyed on Bolinas's Mesa, this is a favorite and the most private. It is uncluttered, spotless, supplied with all essentials, and tastefully decorated in modernist style. During this mid-March stay, there were flowering trees just outside the windows. Agate Beach is a 15-minute walk away, and the bluff overlooking the Pacific and Duxbury Reef is a 10-minute walk. Francesca is a thoughtful and communicative host (and was very understanding when I reported some accidental breakage). Highly recommended!

We had a brief stay while passing through the Redwoods parks. The cottage is cute and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We’d love to come back another time to spend more time exploring the grounds.

I've given great ratings to Heidi's cottage up on the Mendacino Coast - but not because I actually stayed there! Due to a series of family illnesses and the weather I did not make it up to the cottage. But my son, who was up in the area doing scientific field work, did drive by and the cottage looked lovely. So why the high ratings? Its based on outside visusals and......Well, Heidi was great with communication, stayed flexible throughout all my plans and was gracious throughout all the changes. I very much look forward to staying in the future. Great hosts - instructions detailed, communication fast and clear.

Great stay. Quiet, easy to find. I only stayed 1 night for work so I didn't utilize everything available. Hoping for a longer stay next time
