Oakland : locations d'appartements de vacances

We returned to the Bay Area from the East Coast for a family event - and were lucky to find Charlie and Jenny’s place very close to where family lives. Communication was amazing even before the trip began . The apartment is on the bottom of Charlie and Jenny’s house and very private . There is a separate parking space, which is a a huge bonus in the area. The living space is VERY roomy - much more so than I expected from pics! SUPER clean , and SUPER well stocked, with lots of personal touches . Loved the kitchen and bathroom !!! I had to do some work during the week and there was a woke space as well. Two comfy bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds, extra blankets, pillows, pool/beach towels - you name it. We met both Charlie and Jenny in person and they were so lovely to chat with . Charlie gave lots of great restaurants info ! If you travel with family or kids- they also will find so many toys, games- even bathtub toys ! Since we will return to the area, I would absolutely return!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was quiet, easy to find, and we had a smooth check in/out. The price for our stay also felt like a steal and was cheaper than any hotel room in the area. The place was new, clean, and had new appliances, internet, TV, all the general amenities you may want. Perfect place for a couple looking to stay in the Bay Area and not break the bank. We will definitely stay here again whenever we come back to Castro Valley, thanks Gabriel!

I enjoyed my time at Audrey’s place. They are centrally located and the backyard is a beautiful place to work or unwind. Audrey, Jordie, and the pups were very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend their place for any guest visiting Oakland.

We had a great stay at Alexander's home in Walnut Creek. It is close to restaurants, public transportation, and highways. The home was immaculate, and the small details showed how much Alexander cares about his guests. K-cups were provided and the bathroom was stocked with many items. Parking was right outside, and the use of the washer and dryer meant we didn't have to pack as much as we would have otherwise (detergent included). If we make another trip to the Bay Area, we will definitely be booking with Alexander. Top notch stay!

Our stay at Albina’s guest suite was very peaceful and a perfect place to rest our heads while exploring SF! Great location in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to local restaurants and cafés. About a 20 minute walk to Golden Gate Park. Lovely views of the ocean to watch the sunset, we used the firepit on the deck which was lovely! Albina was a kind and gracious host.

I stayed here for a month and it was great, I highly recommend! As described and seen in the pictures. Annie was helpful and ensured I had everything I needed. I think this apartment is perfect for 1-2 people with a child or small/medium-sized pet. Clean and cozy with nice, warm lighting. The bed was comfy, kitchen was small but well-equipped, living room was roomy with a medium-sized couch, and bathroom more than sufficient. I loved relaxing on the deck as well! The neighborhood is hilly and beautiful, close to bus/ferry/restaurants/stores. Touristy downtown, but not as much in the immediate vicinity. I walked A LOT with my dog and enjoyed it, but the hills can be steep! Definitely a very safe area. The only “con” is, in my opinion, it’s just a bit expensive for the size. However, I understand it’s in a pretty wealthy neighborhood and am sure Airbnb fees/taxes account for a decent part of the cost. Suffice to say, this is a once-in-a-long-while stay for me. Hopefully that’s fair.

Annie and Alex‘s Airbnb is wonderful! It’s in a great location, well designed, clean and modern, and equipped with all of the items you would want in the kitchen. You have access to a beautiful outdoor garden with dining table and chairs. Location! While you can walk to the best shopping for fruits and vegetables, there is free street parking as well. BART is a quick 13 minute walk! Lastly, Annie and Alex are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. We would highly recommend their AirBnb for either short or longer stays

We had a lovely stay and glad to have booked this place for our first time in San Francisco. Place was clean with a good collection of books, location was beautiful, and really appreciate the tap for filtered drinking water.

Had a great time staying here! It's a nice apartment, fairly spacious and well decorated (and many many books). The location was awesome and the highlight. You get a great view of the bay + SF from the hills. It's also close to both nice hikes and the university.

Dennis & Tiiu's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed for a week while in town visiting our son, who lives only a few minutes away, so it was a perfect location for us. The location was peaceful and quite. The house was cozy and suitable for two people. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but again, it worked for the two of us. The amenities were as described. We would definitely stay again.

Everything as described. Well-stocked kitchen, perfectly capable of cooking meals. Lots of space. ~15 min walk to Berkeley Bowl, which is a great place to pick up groceries. Some reviews mention hearing footsteps overhead; there is an apartment overhead, and the sound is about as loud as you would expect for living in a lower-level apartment. Joe is very quick to respond to questions, which reduces any issues that might come up. I had some problem with the WiFi, and Joe replied quickly to help me troubleshoot the issue. Overall a smooth experience.

My sister and I were so comfortable in the space. We felt so very welcome from the variety of teas and coffee to the fresh flowers in each room. The mini fridge was big enough to hold our snacks and of course the coffee pot was a plus. The walk into town was quick and easy and we very much enjoyed the garden which was very private. I would come back again and again.

There aren't enough words to describe how much I loved this space. This was the most user friendly AirBnb I have ever stayed in. :) The house is just like it is in the pictures and Linda leaves a lot of little notes around to help you manuver through the space. She also has an expansive guide book for things to do and see in and around Vallejo, as well as the Bay Area in general. This home is a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal that takes you to San Francisco. That was very convenient for me, because even though I have lived in Los Angeles since 2020, I am a Bay Area native and still have to come in to San Francisco one week a month for my job. This home made that very easy. I have always been a fan of taking the ferry into the City because of the peace of being on the water and this was perfect. I will keep this listing in mind during some of my next trips back. It was so worth it. Thanks for eveything, Linda!

Perfect studio with all the amenities needed! Loved the walkable neighborhood with nearby restaurant! Host was kind and easy to reach.

My Son an I did a 5 day stay. The place was very centrally located on the pacific coast. The place was very cozy, clean and comfortable with outstanding ocean views from everywhere in the cabin. Good parking for two vehicles. Weather was so so, but did not hindered us a bit. We hiked at Muir Woods, the overlook and the beach all within 5 minutes away. We were able to go to San Francisco multiple times 35 minutes to do half day lunches or dinners and Sausalito 20 minutes. Yeshi was very responsive when we communicated, but really needed little assistance. The home is older and very charming. It reminded me of my own house growing up. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little hideaway in a sunny part of the city, near to transportation and Golden Gate Park. Cozy spot to return to after a day exploring all SF has to offer. Be aware that the shower is over the sunken jacuzzi tub, so a big step down. Super helpful to have a good sized mini fridge and freezer as well as microwave to make breakfast or heat something from Gus’s (fancy local grocer) for a break from restaurant meals.

We absolutely loved Jan’s Airbnb! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. Everything was beautiful and comfortable. One of the highlights was going in the hot tub, which was squeaky clean out on the deck. Jan was so thoughtful and left an umbrella out for us and even ordered more coffee when we ran out. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including strong WiFi, parking, and bathroom amenities. The location made it easy to get into San Francisco while still having a quiet place to return to. Also great views and near to hiking. What really stood out, though, was the host’s incredible responsiveness. We had a lock issue during our stay, and they went above and beyond—driving an hour and a half to personally bring us a key to the side door to ensure we felt safe. That level of dedication and care made all the difference, and we truly appreciated it. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a convenient and well-hosted experience!

Staying at The Donatello was great! It's a wonderful location in Union Square, with plenty of restaurant and activity options nearby. The concierge at check in was incredibly helpful, after taking my name they even gave me a map of the area and local restaurant recommendations based on what we talked about. Will definitely be looking to stay here during my next visit to SF.

A charming Victorian tucked into a quiet, shaded residential street just minutes away from all the best the Mission District has to offer. On top of that, the vibe and decor is 100% that of the family home it looks like. The bookshelves filled with different people’s favorite books. The kitchen appliances are top-of-the-line and it has everything you need to feed a family if you need a break from exploring. When family came in for out of town with too many people to host in my condo, we decided to all pitch in and stay here together and we could not have been happier. Thank you so much for making this lovely home available to us.

Beautiful Gem!! The place is definitely worth staying at. Great to relax and connect with nature. Everything was available at my fingertips and made my stay even more memorable. I can’t wait to visit again!
