Kyoko was a fantastic host, who even met us at the door before arrival to allow us to put our bags in early! She provided lots of local recommendations, had a beautiful space, and even provided us food and other snacks! It is in a great location, 15 min from Nara Park and 5 minutes to Nara Station (if train noises keep you up, be sure to bring earplugs!) and I cannot say enough great things about this stay!

入住前房东给了我们详细的入住手册，对于如何入住、登记进行说明；房子在靠今里站的附近，附近有罗森和吃饭的地方，出行便利；房间内有三张榻榻米，所以最好自带床上四件套，床数是根据我们的出行人数安排的（有多位/异性同行人的旅客可以参考我们的评论）；总体来说居住感觉还是不错的

ベット数、部屋数が多くグループごとに分かれることもできたのでよかった。急な滞在にも対応して頂けました。

We had a great time at 耕造’s place. You really feel right at home with all of the amenities. Everything was really thought through and caring. We would love to come back again soon

Kazuko is a hospitable host and feedback promptly. The Masaru house is a common Japanese house. We six adults stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed a period Japanese daily life. The full functional kitchen and the deep bathtub impressed us a lot. Although it is located in a quiet residential area, more than 10 supermarkets and convenient stores are within 6~8 minutes walking distance. Overall, thanks Kazuko-san and Marsaru house, we had a wonderful trip.

駅から近く、徒歩圏内にスーパー玉出もあります。南海線の南出口、JR線の通天閣出口はエレベーターがあり便利です。(地下鉄は利用してないので分かりません) チェックイン前に荷物を預かってもらえ助かりました。 問い合わせの返信が早く安心できました。フロントの方の対応も丁寧でとても良かったです。 新しく、綺麗にされていて、気持ちよく過ごせました。

3人で利用させて頂きましたが、部屋も広く、とても快適に過ごせました。 JR、地下鉄どちらの駅からも近く、どこに行くにもアクセスが良かったです。 チェックイン時間等も柔軟に対応頂き、たいへん助かりました。また利用したいです。

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

From the moment of check in, Ichie treated me very well. The room was a traditional tatami mat floor, complete with a balcony. He gave me alot of good recommendations and made sure I knew how to get around. He made me delicious breakfasts every morning and taught me things about the city. The apartment was close to the trains, which was super helpful. He was like the Japanese grandfather I don't have. I would book again if I am in Osaka. Five stars for me.

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

Our stay with Kuniko was truly amazing! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming to both me and my son, making us feel right at home from the start. We always looked forward to her delicious breakfasts, which were a highlight of our mornings. The room was comfortable, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Kuniko’s hospitality made our trip even more special, and we will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended!

This guest house is will be the best choice. The host tommy is very kind and mindful. He speaks english very well, so someone who didn't speak japanese will be satified. Also, the domitory bed was very nice. It's cozy and comfotable. And Tommy will give you breakfast If you request. The toast was tasty. I recommend this guest house, you will not regret your choice. I had such an incredible stay at Chiyako’s home - she was so helpful, picking me up and dropping me off at the train station, cooking dinner on the night of my arrival. It was extremely beautiful to wake up with a view of the mountains and countryside and she always provided an incredible breakfast, including tea, local yogurt with fruit and a main dish. The space was really comfortable and I had everything I needed for a lovely stay :) I was there for five days, four nights in early March - it was a little chilly, but very peaceful and serene, so I loved it. I mainly stayed around the town, going to the onsen, yakitori restaurant, dessert cafe, etc and everyone was incredibly kind and patient even though I don’t speak Japanese. It was also recommended to go to Hasedera Buddhist Temple which was a short bus ride and one train stop away. I highly recommend- it was really special. I will definitely be back in the summer or early fall :)

I really enjoyed staying at Hide-san's property as it was conveniently located next to tourist attractions spots and had good access to transport links to other attractions. The room I stayed in also had a very authentic Japanese style design, which gave me the traditional Japanese experience I was looking for. Hide-san also showed me great hospitality and I enjoyed the many conversations that we had. The breakfast made by Hide-san also tasted really nice and it had a very homely feel to it. Overall, I'd recommend this property if you're looking for an authentic and traditonal Japanese experience in Kyoto. If I come to Japan again then I'll make future reservations at this property.

반려견을 데리고 1개월동안 외국으로 여행가보는 건 처음인데다 출발 하기 전 과정도 순탄치 않았기때문에 강아지와 둘이 잘 다닐 수 있을까 걱정을 많이 했었는데, 그런 걱정이 무색하게도 유키에&케빈씨가 이것저것 많이 챙겨주셔서 여행 내내 정말로 즐거웠습니다😊 숙소를 일반적인 맨션이나 호텔로 잡았다면 없었을 추억도 많이 생겨서 너무나 감사하게 생각하고 있습니다! 공항까지, 역까지 여행내내 차로 픽업해주시고 매일 맛있는 식사도 챙겨주셔서 너무 감사했어요 마을의 모두도 친절하고 상냥하셔서 강아지와 함께 일본의 시골을 잔뜩 만끽하고 왔고 사람 많고 번잡한 관광보다 자연과 함께하는 조용하고 여유로운 여행을 더 선호하는 편이라 더더 좋았어요☺️ 새로운 키즈나 하우스도 기대하고 있으니 집의 수리가 끝나게 되면 꼭 초대해주세요💓 두분 다 건강 잘 챙기시고 다시 만나게 되는 날까지 즐거운 일만 가득하시길 바라겠습니다🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️ 코스모쨩, 히나쨩도 건강하게 잘 지내!!

If you want to choose a place to start your Kansai trip, this is definitely the right place, they will take care of you from food, rest and travel. At the same time, the room is more comfortable than I imagined, and there will be a different experience here

We had a wonderful time staying at Chieri’s home. It’s the ideal spot if you’re looking to escape the busy tourist zones and enjoy some peace and quiet. The place is perfectly communicated with other cities, making it easy to explore the region. Chieri is an amazing host, and staying here gave us a truly authentic taste of Japanese culture. I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help out with any questions or needs. The location is great – it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest station and equally close to popular spots like Sanjo and Nishiki Market, making it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It wasn’t just a standard continental breakfast – each morning, they prepared a full, delicious spread for every guest, which was such a treat to start the day. You could really feel the care and effort they put into making everyone feel at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The only minor issue was the washer and dryer, which are a bit dated. The dryer took a while to dry a half load, so I’d recommend doing smaller loads or planning laundry for when you have some time to hang out. Overall, I loved my stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting!
