the place here is lovely, there are 2 bedrooms and a futon. if you sleep on the futon you may want to move it to the room with the two beds if you are a light sleeper, as the sounds of people walking and talking from the outside can bother you, as well as the wind moving the windows. Overall the facilities are complete, bathtub with self heating when needed and autofill, a kitchen, microwave and a bit fridge. The guide left on the table may be a bit misleading as the walking times to the places written there are actually way farther away especially if you walk slow, so you should use your own google maps if needed. The owner is responsive and helpful even though they are 2 hours away from the location. Overall a recommended place to stay, 10/10.

This is my 2nd time to stay in Takuya and Mika's place. It is superb. I wish I could give one more than 5 stars review. House is spotlessly clean with everything you needed. Hosts are always responsive. The neighborhood is safe with lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Can't wait to come back and please take good care:)

My family really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Sakura House. It offered everything we needed for a comfortable experience. Clear instructions are posted for appliances. The stairs are certainly memorable, but we managed fine. At one point we had a bit of an issue unlocking the front door. We were able to figure it out on our own, though. Just be sure to push the panels in as you turn the key. The area is convenient for dining, shopping, and various entertainment. It was quiet enough for us to sleep comfortably at night. Megumi was promptly responsive to any inquiries I had. Always helpful and friendly. It is clear she is an experienced host. I highly recommend her place.

We loved staying at Micky’s place in Juso. It’s on a quiet street but an easy walk to a lively shopping area. This quiet home was the perfect place to stay with our 10 month old son who needed a quiet environment to sleep but it was close enough to fun things to do. We were also only one stop away from Osaka-Umeda station which is one of our favorite places to explore. The house was wonderful and met our needs. Two bedrooms were perfect and beds were comfortable. We appreciated having a full kitchen as well as a nice living room. Micky gave helpful instructions on how to use the appliances and features of the home. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Amazing townhouse. Neighborhood is very quiet and pretty.

Located next to the beautiful Toji Temple, Shunsukes place was perfect for a short stay in Kyoto. Well connected to the city centre and walking distance to a selection of great restaurants. The home is traditional, very authentic and welcoming.

If your looking for a traditional Japanese home, look no futher. Could not of been happy with my choice, amd i will certainly be back for a longer stay they our 5 days. Perfect hoist, great location, Safe area.

直前に娘が体調を崩してしまったので2泊予定を1泊に変更したのですが、すぐに返信対応をいただき、スムーズにチェックインすることができました。 チェックインからチェックアウトまでの手続きも細かく返信していただいたので憂いなく過ごすことができました。 部屋も和モダンにリノベーションされたおしゃれな空間で落ち着いて過ごすことができました。

Very nice house, all the equipments and hardware are new, if driving to the house, the road is very thin, don’t rent a large size car.

A lovely stop on our trip, the bath was much needed after all the walking we had been doing, plus we made full use of the washing machine! Great location, easy to get to both tourist hot spots and Osaka. Only thing to bare in mind is the walls are quite thin and not very soundproof so if someone nearby is having a party late into the night (which we got to experience) it can be quite loud in the bedroom but nothing a pair of ear plugs won't fix.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kyoto and this place was perfect for our family of four. The kids really enjoyed staying in a traditional Machiya and it made for a much more unique experience than one would otherwise have in a hotel. Everything has been newly updated and the shower and tub were very nice features. If you are not familiar with Kyoto, it is very spread out, so it’s worth noting that the property is located quite a ways North from what many would think of as the center of Kyoto. If you want to be right in the heart of everything this may not be the best choice for you. It is easy to catch the bus downtown, just be prepared for it to take 45+ min to get to most sites if you’re headed South or East (e.g., Kiyomizu-dera, Fushimi-inari, etc.) Quick side note, the couch was rather small and not the most comfortable thing in the world but we were out exploring most of the day so it really wasn’t a big deal.

It was an incredible stay. The house was immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable and the house seemed newly remodeled. Chenli was an amazing host, he was very responsive and helped us arrange our luggage to be forwarded to the airport. We were also really close to the metro/subway stations too. I will definitely be looking for this place in the future again if I get the chance to come back to Osaka.

Our group of three had a wonderful time, exactly what I wanted a quiet traditional house setting. Next to station easy to get around and travel. The Hosts made our first trip to Japan memorable. Thank you.

The place is very clean, tidy and so spacious for four of us. Also, it is so cozy and we felt like home straight away. Location is excellent and it only takes around 15 minutes walk to Umeda and Osaka train station. Leo is very responsible and frequently responds with messages. We had wifi connection problem and he sorted it out immediately. I highly recommend this place to someone who wants to stay in Umeda and explore Osaka.

I highly recommend Leo’s home. It’s located in an awesome neighborhood very close to Umeda. Despite its proximity to Osaka station the neighborhood is quiet and had a ton of cute shops and restaurants. The home was clean, spacious and perfect for our family of four. I highly recommend Leo’s home.

Fantastic location. Great base to explore Osaka. Room was exactly as advertised and clean. You can hear the cars driving on the street though - just bring some earplugs. Otherwise no complaints!

今回の宿泊体験はとても快適でした。オーナーさんは親切でフレンドリーで、コミュニケーションもスムーズで、何か問題があってもすぐに対応してくださり、安心感がありました。お部屋はとても居心地が良く、ロマンチックな雰囲気で、細部まで女主人の心遣いが感じられ、清潔で整った環境に、まるで家に帰ったような気分になりました。 特筆すべきは、お部屋の照明デザインがとてもユニークで、壁の小さなライトが柔らかい雰囲気を作り出し、夜はメインの照明を消しても十分に明るく、むしろよりムーディーな空間を楽しめました。子供連れで宿泊しましたが、子供は壁のライトに特に夢中で、毎晩楽しそうに遊んでいました。 周辺の生活環境も便利で、大通りには深夜まで営業している中華料理店があり、夜食にぴったりでした。また、たこ焼き屋さんもあり、子供はそこの唐揚げが大好きで、喜んで食べていました。コンビニも近くにあり、日常の必要なものは全て揃うので、とても便利でした。 全体的に、今回の宿泊はとても満足のいく体験でした。お部屋の雰囲気、オーナーさんの対応、周辺の利便性、どれをとっても申し分なく、家族連れの方にもおすすめです！
