Our family enjoyed our stay- it was clean, spacious and conveniently located for everything we needed for our little getaway!

We were in KC 2 days for our son's baseball tournament and this home was the perfect space for our family and English Spaniel. Extremely clean, plenty of space for the 4 of us, and in a nice quiet location. The beds were very comfortable, box fans in the bedroom closets were a welcomed find to a family used to sleeping with fan noise! :) We used the white noise machines and didn't hear a single train. Kitchen is well stocked, they've thought of everything! I msg'd Anthony a couple of times and he responded immediately. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

This place was just perfect for our weekend in Kansas City! It was close to everything, easy to find, comfortable, clean, and kid friendly! We appreciated the off-street, safe, well-lit parking area. The host, Ruth, was wonderful! Super quick to respond and very friendly. We will definitely recommend it to any friends/family visiting KC! Thank you!

The house was great for our large group of 10, everyone slept comfortably, and had enough space. The kids and adults loved the property. We ran into one issue with the house that’s not even really worth mentioning because Loretta called a repairman and came up with a solution to the problem immediately. It was a lovely stay. My sisters appreciated being able to park their cars in the garage. I, being 6 months pregnant enjoyed having a downstairs bedroom with a large bathtub.

This is a great stay. Quiet area very close to downtown KC. House is beautiful and cool. lots of great decor and styling in the house. The only down sides are the creaky floors from the age of the home. plus, there are rooms with not window coverings, or window coverings that do not fully block the windows. All in all a great stay with zero problems. Would definitely recommend, and stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in this historic home! The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The old downtown Shawnee area had several great restaurants to choose from. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. The attic decor was fun and it was a great location to watch a movie. Overall great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Demetria's Shawnee Airbnb. The children loved all the amenities at the house ('kid heaven') and the parents appreciated the fenced in back yard. We came to Kansas City to explore the town, but it was every inch of this house that got explored by the kids. From the back yard to the game room to the movie theater, our group of five kids had so much fun bonding over the many diversions. Demetria was very responsive during our stay, and the home was spotless. Convenient location right off the highway.

Came in town with my kids for a Chiefs game. We enjoyed our stay and the area. House was great, exactly what we needed. Casy was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

This place was perfect for our stay. The space was exactly how it was described, clean, great breakfast place (Mildred’s) right next door, and tram pickup right out front. Would definitely stay here again. Also, loved the decor!

Had a wonderful time during our stay. Check in is a little more complicated than most BNBs but Savannah was very responsive and helpful. Our only gripe was the bed was a bit too small for two adults and is definitely an issue if you're used to a king sized mattress. I slept on the couch just out of necessity. The soft mattress topper is comfortable but you will wake up on top of each other through the night because it wants to cave inward.

This truly is a luxe lodging. Tami and Ryan have done an amazing job with renovating this historical building, making it look classy and modern while retaining some historical touches. The neighborhood is very quiet. It was lovely to listen to birdsong rather than traffic in the mornings, but it's still only a few minutes' drive to restaurants, museums, and other attractions.

Jaymi was a great host. We loved spending time in her beautiful space. Everything was exactly as described, easy to get to, and in a great area. We appreciate the designated parking area and the safe location! Jaymi provided clear instructions and a helpful guide to favorite spots in Kansas City. We would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing place! Very comfortable. Complete amenities. Fully stocked kitchen, thoughtful coffee supplies. Super comfortable bed with luxury linens. Spacious bathroom with spa-like shower. Great location with convenient free trolley right outside the building. Top notch AirBnB!!

My son and I loved our stay! It was only eight minutes away from Great Wolf Lodge, conveniently, with the convenience of being able to make your own meals! Highly recommend!

Denise's place was the perfect spot for us while in town for the Big 12 basketball tournament. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. The location offered nice, easy parking, and Denise's directions for arriving were very clear and easy to follow. Denise was very friendly and communicated very proactively, even taking time to give us a quick tour as we arrived. The space was perfect for what we needed; two comfy beds, a very tidy bathroom and kitchen, a living room area and very neat decor throughout. What more could you need! We will definitely look to stay again when in Kansas City.

I chose this place because it was close to the home of my family members who I was in town to visit, but I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kansas City. I was surprised when I drove up at how nice it was and when I walked inside I thought it was way nicer than what the photos portrayed. The furnishings are minimal but quality. I liked having both firm and soft pillows to choose from – that is a big deal to me. The temperature control was good as well as the fact that there was a lamp and night table for both sides of the bed. Being able to sit on the porch and watch birds on the feeders and take a walk on the nature path was an unexpected surprise. I slept very well here and am recommending it to my parents who frequently stay in the area. The location is less than 10 minutes from legends and literally right next to Highway 435 so an easy drive to anywhere. I will never be staying in a hotel in this area again as long as this place is available.
