This is the 2nd time we stayed at Jules' place. It is very convenient for visiting Cook Forest State Park or Allegheny National Forest. The place is rustic and cute. Jules made us delicious breakfast, best pancake I have ever had.

Brass Lantern Lodge is very clean and feels like home. Jules was a great host!

Shell’s lodge is the perfect spot to unwind after a lovely day at Pine Creek Gorge. Can’t wait to come back and visit her other options. She’s so sweet and a lovely, thoughtful hostess.

Eagle Creek is a great weekend getaway! It is peaceful and relaxing. Quick and easy trip in to State College for a stroll downtown or to go to a game! We love the outside space and plenty of wood for the fire pit! The inside is homey and comfortable for a crowd! We had a wonderful time!

Mary Ann and her husband Jerry were great hosts. We loved having the dog “Peaches” around to greet us. We loved walking around the pond and just having a peaceful time. Definitely would book again. Thanks again for the great time.

Ragu is an awesome host! Extremely friendly, and the place was extremely comfortable! Home felt like home and had immaculate vibes. We can’t wait to come back. The view of the stars from the hot tub is unlike anything else.!

Ragu was an amazing host that allows you to feel right at home. Very relaxing getaway with a private secluded sauna and jacuzzi under beautiful landscapes of the sky.

The furniture is unique ( hand made). beautiful. The king size bed was amazing, very comfortable and new mattress. It was very relaxing to stay at Kathleen's place. Deffently will book at the Lodge again. Also, the people sharing the others room very friendly and felt Conformable.

What can I say.? I think I speak for both Alice my girlfriend and I when I say this was one of the most pleasant stays I’ve ever had, and the most pleasant stay in a shared space ever. Ragu is amazing, he’s warm, friendly, caring. He went more than above and beyond on a very icy and snowy weekend to make sure we got to the place safely, he even let us borrow his 4WD to get groceries as our little Hyundai was struggling in the snow. The hot tub and sauna are perfect and his kitchen is well stocked. My only regret is not using the music equipment and missing out on going to Chet’s Place due to inclement weather. I want to go back here asap with an even bigger group. If you are coming to this area, stay here.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while exploring the local hiking trails. Kathleen was quick to respond to messages and was very helpful in providing recommendations. Check-in was a breeze with a numeric keypad. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Kathleen! :)

The photos perfectly captured what the house looks like! We didn’t realize that we were only renting a room until we arrived. Fortunately, we had the place to ourselves. The house was very clean! The Airbnb was only about 10 minutes from Ricketts Glen State Park which was the reason for the stay! Kathleen was very accommodating & allowed us to switch rooms since we preferred one with a king size bed! I recommend this place!

A very beautiful place I would stay here again. It's very very neat and very modern and me and boyfriend had a great time there. They really know how to keep the place looking fresh. Clean bathroom, clean kitchen, and most importantly a clean bed. Also wanna mention how beautiful the view is there.

This place is a gem! Was easy to find it and access the apartment. We were there in February and had the place almost all to ourselves. Our unit had updated furnishings and floors, nice kitchen, lots of storage space. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever been in...and the views! We had some plumbing issues, and Bill was helpful and very prompt in responding. He offered us other rooms immediately so that he could remedy the problem. We are ready to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the game room, fire pit, and balconies.

Sara is great and helpful! Location is a motel listed on airbnb but offers more flexible options (one night stay vs requiring 2 night stay through other websites) and had just what we needed. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable!

Perfect! The location and accommodations were absolutely fantastic. We love the Jim Thorpe area and this place puts you right in the middle of everything. It’s an easy drive to get to all the local spots yet far enough away to offer peace and solitude. Thanks to Joe and Ashley for hosting us!

Great place to stay. Close to all the local attractions and hiking Would be fun to rent entire place for a family reunion! We just had one room but great feel to common areas.

Stayed on night a short getaway to Cooks Forest with my husband and two small dogs. The property has an updated barn red motel style exterior, the interior is tastefully remodeled with pine ceiling beam. Highlight was a large retro style mini fridge and coordinating microwave. Plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower, all amenities were as described. The host communicated proactively and included info in the room with some local recommendations. For an overnight stay with dogs at Cooks Forest, this place checked all the boxes.

This was a spontaneous trip for me and my family. William responded quickly! We were able to thoroughly enjoy the PA Grand Canyon, Cherry Springs Park and Ricketts Glen all in 24 hours!!! Stony Fork exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed all of the amenities, especially star gazing by the fire pit!!!
