This place is a gem! Very cozy and cute. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Great location with easy walking to the lake as well as local shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!

We had such a great time staying at the cabin! Plenty of room for our 6 adults and 6 young kids (age 2-8), with amazing snow play opportunities in the backyard. We didn't even need to leave the property for sledding or cross-country skiing! Kitchen was well-stocked, everything was cozy and clean.

We had a great & very fun stay, and Laurel was very responsive. We were there to ski, and the Mountaineer shuttle service was really great! The deck and hot tub offered great views...and the house was very close to Palisades! As another renter commented...of the three bedrooms downstairs, you do need to go thru one bedroom to get to the other...this should perhaps be made more clear in the listing comments. If/when back at Palisades, we'll certainly consider this listing again!

Great location in Carnelian Bay overlooking the lake. Nice house with well stocked kitchen and amenities. Close to many Lake Tahoe destinations and host was very proactive in communication. Would recommend staying here and had a great time! Look forward to future trips.

We had such a great stay here with family and friends over the weekend! The cabin was beautiful, in a great location, and the host was super friendly and responsive. One thing that really stood out was how well-stocked everything was, which isn’t something we’ve typically seen at other Airbnbs. The kitchen had everything we needed, from pots and pans to coffee machines, spices, and seasonings, which was perfect since we did a lot of cooking. Just a heads-up if you’re a coffee person: they provide the machines but not the coffee, so be sure to bring your own! The place was also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. We loved that there were tons of games, activities, and even outdoor gear to keep everyone entertained. You can tell the host really cares about the guest experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and it is the only place our family of 6 and the family dog will stay. They are very responsive to any questions or concerns and reply in a timely fashion. I appreciate the flexibility of check in and check out. They have been wonderful hosts!

Although I did not stay here personally, my group of about 8 ladies absolutely LOVED this space! The host was friendly and responsive from start to finish. The feedback I received was that the space was beautiful and huge! It surpassed everyones expectation :) 10/10

Ken is a super nice and responsive host, we had a best ever Airbnb experience with his beautiful and gorgeous house for two nights. Ski bus will arrive right in front of the house, great location to enjoy ski trip with friends and family, definitely will come back again!

Our family of four had a wonderful visit. There were so many activities for our two sons (3 and 5yrs) to take advantage of. Activity room, free private movie theater, free game rentals, arcade, foosball table, ice rink, gondola up to the Ritz, ice cream social… we didn’t even ski, but had a great time playing in the snow! It was also nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. Jerry was a great host and we will definitely be back again!

It was awesome that the free shuttle picked me up right there. Fabulous space

The hosts William and Shirley were super helpful and friendly as we were coming from abroad and knew nothing about Northstar. The accomodation was easy to find and parking was right outside with a permit left by the hosts. The flat was described well and as good if not better then the photos. Ski=in ski out was perfect with the "Condo ski run" literally right outside the window and running straight down to the main ski lift 100 or so meters away. We self catered and the kitchen was set up with tea/coffee/sugar/milk capsules as well as cooking oil, vinegar, slat, pepper , spices etc so it made it really easy as coming from abroad it would have meant we couldn't bring thse things and would have to buy them which would be wasteful. There was a pretty good grocery in the ski village but expensive so better to stock up in truckee before arriving. Buy ski passes discounted in advance as they are around $230 on the day. even buying 1 day in advance online drops to $204.

We loved staying here. It was extremely comfortable. One of us even stayed home from skiing for the day to relax and enjoy the peaceful area and outdoor views. We also love the shoes-off policy: it makes us feel right at home and shows in the overall cleanliness. we are definitely bookmarking this place for future trips, maybe even in the summer!

I loved staying here. Host was friendly and VERY responsive. Home was cozy and comfortable. The bed felt like heaven. Kitchen had everything I needed. Very peaceful stay.

It is truly a beautiful place . Made it a magical Xmas for us. Perfect setting and the home is gorgeous. It’s right next to the gondola and connected to the ritz . Easy access for everything :) Kate is awesome to work with :)

Really location and easy access to multiple lifts and foot village. Nice views of the mountain.

Natalie went above and beyond making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in the front door. She is a great communicator and a pleasure to work with.

Marina's place was perfect for our family for a snow weekend. House was lovely, comfortable, well stocked, excellently maintained (unlike many Airbnb we have stayed in!), and just generally wonderful. The bedding was so comfortable my daughter is insisting we buy the same soft blankets for home! Perfect location for us, walkable to Royal Gorge and very close to Sugar Bowl and Donner Ski Ranch where we like to ski. Marina was super responsive when we had minor questions. Overall, highly recommend! Only downside for us was the driveway which is quite narrow and wasn't plowed while we were there so required some digging and tricky backing in, but within reason for a snow weekend. Just a word of advice to others to expect it. Thanks Marina!

We had a fantastic stay! The condo is quiet, spacious, and comfortable, with high-end appliances including TVs, a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a smart thermostat, and a smart lock on the front door. It's also one of the closest Silver Strike units to the Northstar Village—less than a 5-minute walk—and you can ski right back to the unit. Highly recommend!

It was nice to have a 3 car garage to keep gear in. Particularly useful are the ski racks on the wall and the high Amperage heater in the garage. Keeps the gear dry after a day skiing. This house is just a couple of minutes by shuttle to the Palisades Base Lodge. You're guaranteed first chair if you get up and go get it! The circular fireplace is decadent and provides warmth and beauty. This is a great place for the real Tahoe Feel! I would return again for sure.

Not to take the easy way out and just say ditto, ditto, ditto, to all the great reviews below, but it was was exactly so, awesome! Scott was a great host with all communication, including the booking, check-in and departure routines, a class act all the way. The property was just as portrayed in every way and made a great base camp for our family snowmobiling adventure. It's a classic cabin with tasteful and thoughtful updates, roomy, well laid out and clean as a whistle. The wood-burning fireplace is a nice touch. No concerns and no regrets whatsoever, our stay couldn't have been better.

Beautiful property within a few minutes drive of Alpine Meadows ski lodge base. Slept 5 very comfortably and could have fit more, and was a cozy place to spend some days in the mountains. Would gladly stay there again!

Fantastic place to stay with a group of friends, right on the edge of the forest and within minutes of the lake. Bonus for ping pong and pool table! Will come again!

Great Airbnb as described, the house was comfortable and the fireplace was great for the unusually cold weather in August, and so glad we had a hot tub. Backyard was great for our little pup. Within walking distance of restaurants, a beach and some trails. Great place to stay and Katie was very responsive.
