Sara has paid extra attention to detail to make this a truly excellent place to stay. It’s truly an amazing space. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, and complete with full breakfast items. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 3 dogs and everybody had a blast. The barn was very clean, cozy, and welcoming when we arrived. They had an essential oil diffuser on which made it smell lovely. There was a little binder left for us with everything we needed to know and some amazing sight seeing recommendations! The bed was comfortable and cooling/heating system worked great. Their stairs are a little steep and didn’t have runners so just keep that in mind with pets. Overall, this stay is perfect for 2 adults and their fur babies! Will definitely be booking again!

We love staying here and have so many great family memories in this house! It feels like home away from home and we're excited to visit again. The house beautiful and the surroundings are, too.

Our stay was clean, peaceful, and exactly what we needed for a break from city life, work, and the hustle of kids’ extracurricular activities. We especially loved visiting and feeding the calves—it was such a unique and memorable experience! Stargazing at night was incredible, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet escape.

This is our 3rd year coming to Brenda’s. We always like coming here to connect as a family. Mo and Brenda ate great hosts, always checking with our needs.

Loved the peaceful setting but being so close to amenities and what we wanted to see. We already plan to look here first on our next trip back to Nashville. I think looking here first says we were really satisfied - right?

What a wonderful quick stay here at this beautiful barn getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed it. This should be your stop if you’re in the area. We stopped here for the night on our way to Lancaster county. Our boys were even able to get their piano lesson time in for the week ❤️😀. Thank you!

Thank you to Taylor and her incredible staff! The entire experience was one we will never forget. Taylor ( the owner and horse trainer) was so kind and helpful to us and made us feel right at home. The loft was so beautiful with the sweetest views right out to the pastures and the stables! Everything was spotless and accommodated so well for us! Every detail was intentional and fit in so well! The horses are such beautiful and kind animals, being able to experience them up close and being able to ride one of them was the spotlight of our stay! We met the sweetest barn kitties too! The cleanliness and coziness of the entire ranch was nothing short of amazing. Remember this is a working horse ranch of incredible hard working women. Thank you Taylor and her amazing staff! We will most definitely be back soon and I’m so excited to get more horse riding lessons from her🤍🐎

I have stayed in dozens and dozens of Airbnbs and this is bar none the best I have stayed in terms of the price and value. To say it is well appointed is an understatement, it was perfect for my 2 day biz trip. Very quiet. Such an awesome building and setting! If you’re questioning whether it you should hit ‘Reserve’…..yes, do it. Thanks for the great stay :)

The Barn Loft is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to stay! We were very thankful for Natasha’s detailed directions on how to navigate the property and were very pleased with our stay! It is only about a 20 minute drive to the parkway, as well as downtown Boone, so we were able to enjoy some hiking, views, and the city!

Such a lovely farm! I felt so calm and peaceful surrounded by the beautiful trees , nicely manicured grounds, and best of all, the horses. Went with my friend and we found the place very comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked! We brought food so that we could prepare most meals and the kitchen had more than we could ever need by way of kitchen gear! There was also a full stash of coffee, cream, honey and sugar! The location is great. We went to the White's Ferry Brewery that was just down the street and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend a visit. We also walked around the neighborhood to include down to the Potomac! Very nice! We took a day trip to Harper's Ferry (45-min drive) and of course to the little downtown area of Leesburg (7-min drive)! Rita was super responsive and brough us batteries quickly when requested for the remote and a container of eggs from the chickens! The beds are comfortable. I did sleep on the sleeper sofa and while it isn't a typical bed, it was fairly comfortable. Having the animals just below us was really sweet! Loved them all! Enjoyed our visit very much!

This place and the host is amazing. Very much worth money. Unique and hot tub is a great one… nice and hot. Can’t say enough good… you can rent with confidence!

Lovely, cozy and peaceful apt to enjoy farm life from. Grandkids loved the basketball court, fire pit and all the animals. Grandson said pull out sofa bed was extra comfy. We loved feeding, petting the cats, goats & cows. I enjoyed every aspect of this rentals, both inside and out.

I can’t explain how grateful we were to stay at this peaceful and private getaway. We enjoyed everything about the place: beautifully decorated for the e holidays, private nature walk where we saw turkeys and cows from afar & the host even accommodated our special needs. My family and I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I can’t say how grateful we were to find this lovely place & book with such a kind host!

My daughter had an amazing time looking at the horses and walking around the premises. Judith was a great host and always responsive, the next time we come to Peoria we know where we’re going to stay.

Wow, I am absolutely blown away! This was such an incredible stay! 🌿🏡 Kevin & Linda are the kindest, most caring, and genuinely loving hosts—you can tell their heart is in everything they do. 💛 The pups were precious, and their sweet old girl, Ruth Ann, even joined us on most of our hikes, which made the experience even more special. 🐾 The home was gorgeous, the bed was super comfy, and the WiFi was fast—but honestly, we LOVED having no service outside the house. It made the trip feel like a true reset from the outside world. And can we talk about that bath?! 😍 Omg, yes please. The hiking trails were incredible, the provided map was crystal clear (with extras just in case), and town was just 35 minutes away—super easy to find based on their directions. To top it all off, they even let us try some fresh farm eggs from their chickens, which was such a thoughtful touch. We’re heading home feeling refreshed, recharged, and overflowing with gratitude. 🥰 Already planning our next

This was our second time staying at the Barnhouse and it didn’t disappoint. We love it there. It’s so peaceful and has all the things you would want on a peaceful getaway. We will be back!
