I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming stand-alone cottage in Kensington, and it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in a serene garden setting, the cottage offers a peaceful retreat that's both private and comfortable. The detached nature of the guesthouse ensures complete privacy, making it an ideal spot for both work and relaxation. Additionally, the convenience of on-site parking adds to the overall ease of the stay. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone seeking a tranquil and comfortable getaway.

Really nice place to stay, comfortable bed, comfortable sofa and a good kitchen. A nice decking area with loungers to enjoy the outdoors, and the property has a great view of the sunrise. Near to Sonoma town and really easy to get around. Eliza was a perfect host, recommending local wineries and really responsive and friendly. Easy self check in as well. We really enjoyed having a nice place to relax in after a day walking in the national parks and sightseeing!

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

We enjoyed our stay at Barbara's charming Backyard Beach House for the third time, and felt at home there. We find it restful to stay in this quiet neighborhood. It's always nice to communicate with Barbara and Ken, as they are readily available if we have questions or requests. We consider this house a gem of a find. Thank you again Barbara and Ken for contributing to our lovely vacation.

Had a BLAST at the house. The table played very well and our afternoon walk into town and to the water were awesome. Really nice to be out in the fresh air while the weather was good. The pool table was smooth and bringing my own cue was worth it. I played very well

I rented Polina’s place for my daughter and toddler grandson during their visit to the area because my husband and I did not have room for them to stay with us. It was an excellent choice - a lovely well maintained unit on the grounds of Polina and her family’s home in the hills above Walnut Creek. Very peaceful area, yet close to downtown and transportation options. Polina was so kind and helpful, the unit has everything one would need for a short stay in the area. Highly recommended and a good value for the area.

We had a great stay at Cynthia’s studio. It was perfect for our road-trip stop for two nights. Especially the very secure fenced yard for our dog. It was in a quiet neighborhood and the bed was very comfortable.

We love the cottage at the farm and have stayed there multiple times. Suzanne is a caring, responsible and awesome host, always making sure we are ok. This cottage and the surrounding grounds, which includes a pond, are peaceful and calming. The cottage is just right for the two of is, with a large room, nice kitchen with all the dishes and utensils we would ever need, and a nice bathroom. It’s very close to I80 so we can sight see, visit family and find great restaurants.

Very fun place watching the sun go down on the lake. Quiet and isolated, I loved that. Clean and nicely decorated.

Still one of my favorite Airbnb’s - so peaceful and comfortable, a great retreat in the woods. Justin is an excellent host and there are so many cozy thoughtful touches in the cabin. Highly recommend.

Mary Lee and David have created an apartment that feels like home. Very thoughtful supplies and amenities, very responsive hosts, in a quiet and uncrowned neighborhood with easy access walking to the historic center, easy parking and easy access to the freeway. Met and exceeded all our needs.

I booked Amethyst’s place last minute for a spontaneous weekend in Ukiah. It was fairly late when I booked but Amethyst was responsive and welcoming from her first message! 😊 The unit was super clean, had everything for a late night dinner meal, and a wonderful WiFi signal so I could easily work remotely. Also the bed is huge and amazing! Amethyst happened to walk up while I was unloading my car and she was friendly but definitely not overbearing. I always appreciate that in a host! I had an unexpected change in plans and was hoping to extend my stay by one more night but of course the unit was booked! I requested a recommendation for a local hotel which Amethyst did appease and I did take her up on. I appreciate the backyard that seems like your own and guest privacy definitely seems to be a top priority for Amethyst. Even though the unit is attached to the main house I didn’t hear a thing and I slept in really late on Saturday! I would love to return!

My husband and I spent a peaceful night at Raul & Lisa's Casita in Orland. Immaculate space, quiet location, easy to find. Downtown Orland just minutes away. The perfect stay.

I absolutely loved staying here. Everything was so nice even though the weather wasn’t. Pictures are exact. I really love the promptness with answering any of my questions through messaging the homeowner. It was a perfect weekend.

This was a lovely place for a short retreat. It suited my needs perfectly. I do wish it had been summer time so I could take advantage of the herb garden...oh well.

My husband, daughter and I loved our stay at Carissa’s place. It was so quiet, comfortable and peaceful. And the chickens were the best! Would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area visiting family!

Hendricks House is an example of why I like staying in an Airbnb rather than a hotel. I find comfort in pulling into a driveway, punching in a code, and entering a well designed space, supplied with all necessities for a few days. This home is in a neighborhood of lovely homes that exemplify Sacramento. Views out the windows matter to me, as well as walking sidewalks, and that’s what I found here.

Adam is a very good host. He always has great places to stay.

I grew up in the Chico/Paradise area so I frequently visit. This is my go to Airbnb for this area. It is centrally located, quiet and a safe neighborhood, very clean and cozy! The kitchen is well stocked to cook meals should you choose to dine in. If you prefer to dine out there are plenty of great restaurants within a few blocks. There is plenty of good shopping close by too! I am a single woman, and feel very safe walking the neighborhood. It is also where I refer my family members, and friends too! It is a perfect place to stay for the Chico area.

We absolutely loved our stay! The pool house is charming and well decorated. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, we slept so well! Thanks for making our weekend so comfortable.

Jakob's cottage was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Great location with easy access to both Calistoga and Clearlake. We didn't get to meet Jakob, but he was friendly and very clear in his communications. Would highly recommend this lovely cottage to anyone looking for a place to call home while in the area!

Sheryl is a spectacular host - thoughtful, extraordinarily responsive, helpful, and yet never intrusive. She is very knowledgeable about the property and has all of the resources necessary to keep it fully maintained. She's direct and very considerate - you feel as if you're speaking to a friend and not a business partner. I've been here for two months and it's been a perfect setting and temporary home for me and my dog while we wait for our house to be available. The Cottage is charming, efficient, extremely quiet and has all of the amenities one needs. But the most valuable asset is Sheryl's warmth, competence, and caring about her guests. I couldn't recommend her home more highly.
