Beautiful house, with amazing forest views out the large windows. I loved the wifi speakers that could play throughout the whole place, including one that was battery powered and could be moved around, and sounded great. Well-maintained hiking trails start right out your door through the forest, and can go all the way down to the beach. Very comfortable bed. Fast wifi. Lovely decor. Great selection of coffee equipment. Floor heaters in bathroom and kitchen are appreciated on cold mornings. Hot tub was great; plenty of space for 3 people to stretch out, more than that will get cozy. Very private location -- there is one close neighboring house but it was vacant during our 1 week stay. Doesn't get a ton of direct sunlight due to all the beautiful towering trees around. Some forest maintenance was happing on weekdays during the day which was mildly annoying noise but not the host's fault. Recommend checking out Gualala Point Regional Park, was a nice easy walk with fun views.

This place is very special. Both the grounds and the interior are beautifully designed. Very peaceful and relaxing stay. The hot tub worked great, nestled in the redwoods. Highly recommend.

Wendy's place is a jewel by the sea! My family and I had a magical experience. Everything was truly remarkable, from the breathtaking views, the enchanting coastal sounds, the thoughtful furnishings, decor and extra amenities. We would definitely come back! Thank you Wendy!

Emilie’s place is a hidden treasure in Berkeley! It’s a large 2 bedroom suite with a rather incredibly outfitted bathroom. The location is easy to find and positioned well to move around the east bay and to SF quite easily. Being near the gourmet ghetto and Solano Avenue makes it on the cusp of so many food and shopping venues. He was a very responsive host and I had a great stay! I would certainly return here again. Thoroughly enjoyed this amazing getaway! Even outside of warm pool weather, the gorgeous pool makes for a great cold plunge. We spent the evening loving the private backyard and amenities. Gorgeous interior! Felt like a luxury boutique experience. Really appreciate the eco friendly non toxic environment. Great restaurants within walking distance. Great host, everything was easy and well thought out. Definitely book this space, we will when back in the area!!

Neil's place up in the trees was a very magical experience for me - I felt absolutely cradled by nature up in the trees. With the floor to ceiling windows - it was stunning to watch the rain fall outside and see the trees swaying in the wind and then see the sun break through the clouds. It was so quiet there & Neil was very respectful of my privacy while also being sure to send a message here and there to check to make sure everything was going well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to connect with nature & feel like you're in the middle of a magical forest, while also having Safeway only 5 minutes away along with many yummy restaurants. I will be back for sure!

This place feels like a true retreat, tucked away in the hills with a view that makes you stop and take it in. It’s quiet and peaceful—far enough from the city to feel wholly disconnected but not so remote that it’s inconvenient. The studio itself is simple but well thought out. There’s a mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle, some plates, utensils, glasses & mugs which are handy for light meals. No TV, the premium coffee alternatives, fresh flowers, luxe bedding are small details, but they show the level of care put into the space. Now, the sauna. It’s not just a warm box—it’s a real, proper heat experience with stones and the right setup. Pairing it with the ice bath was a whole new level of refreshing. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about plunging into freezing water, but after the first time, I wanted to do it again. This place is for people who want to slow down. You wake up, step outside, and there’s nothing but rolling hills and fresh air: no rush, no noise—just space to breathe.

Overall House is worth for paid money > (1)we really enjoying the nice surrounding around the house, canoe rowing, photos talking from Pier as well as from the parked yacht that even do party / celebration inside the Boat.. (2) Great photos with sea & lake background around the house.

Sandra was awesome! We even invited her to hang out a couple days. Lovely lady. I’ll start with the good parts. It was VERY clean. Very comfortable as well. The shower was great. Lots of hot water, even for both of us. Fishing was great. Right off both decks. It was very peaceful there. I can’t begin to tell you how many different kinds of birds, seals, and river otters we saw. Very cool. Bring binoculars! The negative feedback I have, and not reflecting on Sandy at all, but the owner. And I hope they read this. Many things are breaking or broken. The sauna didn’t work. And I was looking forward to that. Big bummer. Almost all the blinds were half hanging down because they were broken too. The bbq only half worked, so that was inconvenient. The lock on the main door didn’t lock. Kinda worrisome. It just needs some care and maintenance. Now again, we loved Sandy, and would consider going back if it was repaired.
