It was actually better than I was hoping for and I already had high hopes. We had a great time.

Second time staying here! Loved it even more!

It’s a beautiful place for outdoor activities. The birds chirping in morning. The lake right outside is nice. The clean pools…Easy to check in. Friendly staff. The only thing was 2 of the blankets were stained, even the mattress protectors, one had a small hole in it, It did not have any toilet paper luckily we had some napkins. We also had all kitchen needs except knifes other then that is was all good.

Very nice place with great host, will be back!

Home was perfect for the river trip. We really enjoyed the nature and peacfulness of this AirBNB. Very spotless and clean. Highly recomend.

Safe, quiet and beautiful wilderness environment wonderful for the family very close to the river easy access, my entire family, including my fur babies. Had a great time there.

First and foremost, Maggie was an excellent host! Very friendly and helpful throughout all parts of our stay. The area is beautiful! Very peaceful and relaxing, and not too far from the larger towns you may be interested in. The main attraction, Charlie the deer, is very friendly and it was such a neat experience getting so up close and personal with him. He followed us on a walk and enjoyed the variety of treats we gave him (we learned he loves carrots, chips, and ham was his overall favorite!) If you’re traveling with dogs, this is a great place for you. Not only is the area around the house fully fenced in, but there are even nice kennels indoors as well. Our dogs loved the area and getting to run freely, which is hard to find on Airbnb. 100% worth the trip and I highly recommend.

Loved this "Hideout" for our weekend get away to the Hill Country. We loved that the place was in between Bandera and Boerne and we were able to explore both towns. The two horses on the place were amazing and it was fun getting to give them snacks. We were welcomed when we got to the Hideout by the owner and we were gifted a used horse shoe. Wished we could have stayed longer to utilize the place more like the fire pit and walked around. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family in the future. There wasn't anything we would change about the stay as we felt at home.

Great place for a weekend in San Antonio, the location was perfect & we had a positive experience with the host

We had a wonderful stay. The house was just as described with an unbelievable view on the back patio.

Very comfortable and homey feel. Easily accessible via walking, rentable scooters and bikes, or Lyft. I prefer to walk and spent a lot of time outdoors. Just far enough away from the river walk to not be inundated with crowds, but still accessible. The neighborhood was very quiet. Was able to relax on the back porch with a book after I finished exploring

We so enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We were surprised at the amount of privacy it offered. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching all of the wildlife. We saw a couple of deer, owls, and a variety of other birds and animals. The cabin itself was perfect for us. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck in the mornings. The house itself was decorated super cute! I cooked most of our meals in the cabin and had plenty of items to cook with. Thanks again and we can’t wait to come back!

This is a beautiful property with plenty to do. The treehouse was comfortable, roomy, and had everything we needed! The back porch was amazing!

Really fantastic place. Staff was superb. Easy going and easy to navigate getting in and situated. Quiet at night. So close to the water. AC was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Our Stay at Son's Rio Cibolo was amazing! The safari cabins have everything you need for an enjoyable, comfortable & hassle free stay! What makes it awesome is the property! They have 100 acres with 2 miles of creek frontage and all kinds of amenities and things to do: like kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, swimming, volleyball, basketball. hiking, game room and more! Highly recommend. We plant to go back yearly!

Had a great time with the family. Roasted marshmallows and hotdogs on the fire pit and took a nice hike by the creek. The staff at the office were friendly and helpful.
