A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. It is quiet and private, but close enough to the main house to feel safe. There are many walking trails in this area. The cottage is cozy, well equipped, and has a comfy bed. I would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to get away. The house had perfect amenities. The linens were extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The dipping pool was fabulous and perfect size. The location is ideal for all the things around town. Steve and Cindi was very sweet and easy to talk too. The only thing I could say is that the ac unit did not blow very well. Besides that, everything was great.

We had a great stay. Everything as expected. The quiet was refreshing. We had everything we needed. We hope to return!

Everyone has mentioned peacefulness. Agreed, it's quite, serene, not to far from civilization. It's a small cozy cabin, as such, it is like most small cabins retreats in the Texas hill country. Theyq provided a map, things are in closer proximity than the map makes them appear. That being said, this cabin has the second most comfortable bed I've ever laid on in my 20+ years of vacationing. One of the nights I stayed was a lunar eclipse. Had alarm set, got up, was outside for 10 minutes before that bed called me back. Thank you Catherine and crew for a wonderful stay.

First and foremost, Maggie was an excellent host! Very friendly and helpful throughout all parts of our stay. The area is beautiful! Very peaceful and relaxing, and not too far from the larger towns you may be interested in. The main attraction, Charlie the deer, is very friendly and it was such a neat experience getting so up close and personal with him. He followed us on a walk and enjoyed the variety of treats we gave him (we learned he loves carrots, chips, and ham was his overall favorite!) If you’re traveling with dogs, this is a great place for you. Not only is the area around the house fully fenced in, but there are even nice kennels indoors as well. Our dogs loved the area and getting to run freely, which is hard to find on Airbnb. 100% worth the trip and I highly recommend.

Melody home was as described, it felt soo homey, just enough space for me and my guy. Can’t say enough about the king bed SUPER SUPER comfortable. I never had a host that responded soo fast. Will be returning in a few months.

The cottage is perfect for a a little city getaway. Despite the fact that it is in the backyard of the main house, it does feel private and the host is very much mindful of the desire for privacy from the guests. The hot tub and pool literally 5 steps away from your front door are a really nice perk and it’s a shame the weather did not cooperate in my time there but I’m definitely planning to come back and take advantage of that next time I’m town in better weather! The neighborhood was well maintained and quiet. Definitely a great place and the perfect alternative if you want to stay in San Antonio and don’t want to be in an apartment building.

The home was a great spot for a weekend getaway and was cozy for two people. It was clean and comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again.

We had an incredible time here for our anniversary. The casita was beautifully designed and refreshingly clean and welcoming. We enjoyed cooking all our meals on the Blackstone, playing board games on the patio, reading next to the blooming lavender on the back staircase, watching the sun rise and set in all its glory, listening to and spotting birds at all the feeders, and completely unwinding and relaxing. Everything was exactly as described, and so much more, and Dennise and Roland were very friendly and responsive. We had a very memorable stay here and would recommend to anyone!

It was literally the cutest place to stay, also very close to a lot of the activities I had plan. It was pet friendly and my dog enjoyed sunbathing the weekend away. Debbie was very attentive, accommodating and so friendly.

As stated in the previous reviews, the way to the location was feeling hesitant, but they always say don’t judge a book by its cover! The house is located in a very private, quiet neighborhood. Right down the street (walking distance) is downtown and so many options for restaurants. The house itself was well fully stocked which we are very grateful for, and I enjoyed the small gestures for example the journal to write our experience. If I could rate this home with more stars I would give it 10+. Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to stay at this location! ♥️

Very nice place

This Airbnb was a true getaway! Whether you're working remotely, traveling from out of state, or looking for a staycation in San Antonio, Juan’s place is perfect. I worked remotely for two days and felt extremely safe. The long private driveway provided great security for my car, and the Airbnb's tucked-away location made for a quiet, peaceful stay. The property's beauty, architecture, and thoughtful design were immediately noticeable. The unit itself is stunning, with unique details that enhance the experience. My favorite amenity was the hot tub—spotlessly clean and perfect for relaxing under the stars. Juan also has chickens on-site, but they're so quiet you barely notice them. The best part? He provides fresh eggs for breakfast! I boiled mine, and they were delicious. I’ll definitely be booking again when I’m back in San Antonio!

Great stay! Lee place was near alot of attractions & food

My family and I booked this place to end our month long trip around Texas. The attention to detail was evident and everything was beautiful and welcoming. Both Kelly and her husband were so friendly and available if we needed anything. We travelled with our 5 month old and 3 year old and this space was great as there were toys and puzzles and even baby wash available for us. The beds were extremely comfortable, not to mention the sheets were unbelievably soft. Location was also great as there were coffee shops, restaurants and a park with a splash pad all in walking distance. We would stay here again the next time we visit!

Travelling as a woman alone I felt safe in this quiet place tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The home is very comfy! I slept great & enjoyed lounging by the pool just feet from my private patio area! It was an easy drive to nearby shopping, dining, theatre, etc. Hosts were quick to respond & unobtrusivey nearby. I would definitely recommend it, and also return to this little cottage again.

I stayed for a month. The house is well located with easy access by car to downtown, King William, Southtown and the Missions. In the evenings, after work, I took several very nice long walks along the river starting at Confluence Park, which is very close by. Tony was very helpful through out my stay. He checked in to see if I was warm enough during a cold snap in mid February and then dropped off a space heater. Some guests who reviewed this casita mentioned the automobile noise from the highway access road near by. It was not a problem for me. It did not keep me awake at night or distract me while I was workikng

Very lovely place to stay at for a getaway. My girlfriend and I enjoyed every single bit of it. Will definitely come again :)

Kent&Lori waren super freundlich und wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wir durften die Kühe füttern und mit den Hunden spielen. Diese AirBnB war die beste in der wir jemals waren!

Karla’s place was nice and clean! Her and John were very responsive and friendly. The place was easy to find and very beautiful for 2 people. The neighborhood was close to a lot of things. Great place! We would stay again!

I stayed for 13 nights and absolutely loved it. This is my #1 spot to stay when I visit San Antonio going forward. It was perfectly located and so wonderful for my dog Bentley. He had a great time in the private yard area.

Awesome and unexpected find just outside of San Antonio. Had a wonderful experience and would love to go back again!
