Hip spot, in a cool area with some restaurants nearby. Easily accessible to the beach. I would recommend.

I loved my time at the Surfhouse! It was beautiful and clean inside, walking distance to the beach and to great restaurants! Rode the bikes, surfed all day, was able clean the boards and wetsuits at the outside shower, and hung out in the cabana area. Nikki was quick to answer questions and was very helpful. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

If you are looking for accommodations in Julian STOP, look no further, this is where you want to stay! Collin's Place (aka Julian Orchard Hill Country Inn) is absolutely delightful with its wonderful lodge/Inn with it's massive fireplace and cushy seating, amazing views right outside the dining room windows, delicious food (def make a reservation for the Saturday/Sunday evening meals), wonderful warm and well-prepared breakfasts, with rooms both at the Inn as well as cottages throughout the property. We stayed in Cottage One and were smitten with its cozy atmosphere including a very comfortable queen bed, TV w/ DVD/VCR (we watched like 5 VHS tapes + DVDs available via the massive library up at the Inn), a fireplace that offered comfort in both the small sitting area AND the bathroom, a large well thought-out bathroom with a tub/shower and toilet in separate room, and a little wet bar with a sink and fridge. Sitting out on the deck right outside the cottage door as the sun was setting in the provided thatched furniture with a beer in hand was heaven. The staff were all delightful, seriously not one bad seed! So attentive, kind, and accommodating. Don't pass up on the hors d'oeuvre and drinks every night up at the Inn including domestic/craft beers and wine with tasty plates of munchies and good conversations with the proprietors (whom were always there) and other guests. We could have just stayed at the Inn and in our cottage all weekend but alas Anza Borrego was calling (a 45 minute drive to the AB visitors center and Slot Canyon hike) as were the wonderful shops and restaurants along Main Street. Make sure and head to the Julian Beer Company for some damn good ales and pizza...get the Bacon Bleu pie...you won't be sorry. And shopping at the Warm Hearth, the Olde Goat, the Barn Vintage Marketplace, and quite a few others, was sooo fun...really very good shopping. We'll be back, thanks Collins and staff for a weekend my wife and I will never forget.

This stylish little space is exactly as promised but even better in real life. Parking on premise, more spacious than expected, sparkling clean, and brand new furnishings. Just needed a place to spend a quick night on a girls road trip and this had everything we needed from earplugs to a wine opener! ;)

We definitely like the place. It’s a cute place! But other than that, the house was responsive. The house was easy to get to the address was correct and there were waters. Left out for us and the coffee machine worked perfectly fine. The tv didn’t work or maybe me and my girlfriend couldn’t figure it out. But other than that 5 stars

Great place, close to everything. Parking is kind of a hit or miss, but I don't mind walking so I park a bit far. Didn't realize the 1st and 2nd room was on the 1st floor next the restaurant so it gets a bit loud out there, and feels like someone is watching your room (even though its hard to see inside if you fold the blinds). Only critic is the entry way didn't have an entry way rug to dry your feet, and it was raining quite a bit when I visited.

Can not recommend this place enough! Location is unbeatable, a few minute walk to all of the restaurants, shops, breweries and wineries. Room is very cozy, bed was comfortable. Zora was a great property manager, responded promptly to any questions and was very flexible with us. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in Julian
