This is the real deal... As a guest you will normally walk into a confusing situation but Jason's attention to the simple things "Labels" helped us immediately become comfortable with our surroundings. The property was very private and the enclose that Jason setup allowed our dog run free without any stress to us. If you're looking to disconnect this is the place.

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

This place is a piece of heaven away from home! Literally stop reading and book it now! lol But really this place exceeded all our expectations. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this place absolutely nailed it with what we needed: Reconnect with nature. This place is literally steps away from easy hikes with cool views, oh! and also an archery spot (with a bow & arrow), a horseshoe area and a bb gun spot. It's like a playground for adults! And I haven't even mentioned the beautiful cozy home with a hot tub that looks out to nature and stars, oh! and a firepit plus an awesome deck with a rocking chair overlooking your fenced front porch where you can see your doggos sun tan or run around. Oh and Jackie! Our camp host, welcoming us with freshly baked cookies, the most delicious allergen free cookies I've ever tasted in my life! Anywhooo this place is such a vibe and we will back! Thank you Jackie and Laurie!

We stayed in April, it was cold and it snowed. We enjoyed the hot tub, a warm house a walking outside.

The Mountain House at Morning Farm was a wonderful getaway for 2 people. Private hot tub with views of the valley and stars made for a romantic weekend. Follow Dawns directions to the house and you can't get lost. House is quaint. Bed is super comfortable. Wonderful time walking the property to see the goats and alpacas. The peacocks slept in the tree above the house for the night and talked to us while we were in the hot tub. Great experience.

The place was amazing! Very clean and loved the way that it was all set up. Tamara was super responsive and accommodating to all of our needs.

This cottage is so cute and well designed! The view from the back is absolutely stunning! Expansive rolling hills and so many pretty Blue Jays! The place has all the essentials and worked great for our family of 5. We really enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by nature. Our hosts were great and very responsive. The home heats up nicely and the fireplaces add a cozy touch. We enjoyed hiking around Julian as well as some a nice little hike in the back of the house. The hosts also offered some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We highly recommend this adorable place!

We stayed at Christina's cabin on a weekend girl's trip and would absolutely stay there again! The cabin is so charming, private, and was the perfect getaway we were all looking for. We made coffee in the morning and got to enjoy the front deck. It was chilly at night but we were very cozy inside with the gas fireplace. We'll be back!

This was our 2nd time staying at T's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We really enjoy the rustic cabin feel and the proximity to downtown Julian but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We also really enjoy how welcoming T's place is for dogs and the cleanliness of the cabin given that dogs are allowed. All of the little details are covered which makes for a really comfortable stay. T is very responsive to questions and proactive in helping us with different directions due to the snow we got to enjoy on this stay!

What an incredible place! Gorgeous views, spectacular location, and wonderful host. We cannot wait to come back for a peaceful retreat!

My friends and I spent the weekend in Julian here, and it was perfect! We loved the game room and the home had a lot of character.

This place was beautiful, as advertised, and well worth its price. It was very easy to get to and spotless. The trailer is so clean and although small, feels spacious. The view of the vines were very pretty and I love all the windows. The only complaint is that there was not enough coffee provided. Either bring a French press or more Nespresso pods!

Me and my newly wed Wife loved getting away in this cute little cabin! Definitely worth the stay near the very nice town of Julian! And only 90 minutes to San Diego through so beautiful views and backroads!

This place was perfect! We went for an anniversary celebration and this was a perfect romantic vacation. The cabin was so cute. They have games for entertainment, which was a nice break from all the screen time. There was a fence in the backyard for the dogs. Check in was easy because they have a keypad for locking the front door.

Such a peaceful getaway!! Loved having the wood stove.

My family truly enjoyed our stay at Lili’s house. There was a warm fire lit to greet us upon our arrival on a chilly day. Plenty of firewood was available on the grounds to replenish the fireplace and our kiddos had a great time being our helpers and exploring the yard. There were a couple of lights that didn’t come on but nothing that would deter from our experience. The whole home was a great space for our family, including our fur babies. We hope to be back again in the future.

We had such a beautiful weekend getaway at Rictors place. The cabin is just so cute! Secluded and private. It was easy to find following Rictors instructions. We did get in late at night and it was a little scary with all the turns and super dark roads so just beware. The place was very clean, cozy, open and airy. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. I definitely want to come back again and stay here again. Book this charming place now!!! The night skies are so majestic! My favorite part were all the little seating areas around the property and being surrounded by nature! You can literally hear the birds as they flap their wings! 10/10 recommend!

Lovely stay for couple or a family. Easy access to trails and restaurants. Private and cozy. This is our second time staying at Shantel’s cabin and we will definitely be back!

Great place! So private but right in the center of Julian. It was a good group of us and there was enough space and things for us there. It was perfect. Thank you!

We had an incredible time at the Almost Heaven cabin! The cabin is the perfect mix of rustic charm and creature comforts, like the clawfoot tub, stocked kitchen, and comfy furnishings. The host was extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We had quite a bit of snowfall, and she took the extra time to send us a video showing us how to find the house in snowy conditions and where to park. We also appreciated all the special touches, like the hot tub being already warmed up when we arrived. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Our kids loved playing in the snow and then soaking in the hot tub surrounded by trees. As mentioned in the description, there are some stairs and uneven surfaces, so probably not ideal for someone with mobility issues, but the cabin worked extremely well for our family of four and our doggo. The downstairs bathroom was super fun… it reminded us of the Madonna Inn! Lots of quirk and fun to be had at this special place. We hope to come back soon!

This home was beautiful, inside and out. Just as described and all the amenities. The host was wonderful and made the process very easy. I would recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again.

Jill was a great host and very responsive. The kitchen had all the dishes we needed to prepare a Christmas Day meal. The beds were comfortable. The town ofJulian was very nice with bakeries and of course the well known bake pies. The restaurant, Jeremy’s on the Hill, were very accommodating and we could sit on the patio, that had heaters, with our small dogs.
