We had a great getaway at Wendy’s place! We wanted a quick trip to recharge and this was the perfect place for us. The peacocks were right outside our window! They weren’t noisy and neither were any of her other animals. We took our senior dog with us and even he had a great time with all the smells. The place feels private and we enjoyed looking at the stars at night from the wraparound porch. During the day, we drove to Julian for lunch. Wendy was very friendly & accommodating. We came back home feeling recharged & rested. We’d definitely stay here again!

This is our second stay at Roger and Kari's . The place is absolutely gorgeous. They have turned their 2 acres into a beautiful garden paradise with trails, beautiful plantings and cool things to see. Roger and Kari are very friendly and great to talk to. They are great communicators and super helpful when it comes to local suggestions. We'd love to stay with them again !

Great place to stay, private and quiet. We were unfortunately not able to take advantage of the other things to do at the property as we were busy exploring San Diego. Next time will plan to stay a few more days.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Veronica's place! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The place was exactly as described, if not even better—spotlessly clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The thoughtful touches, like coffee supplies and snacks, made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, just a short drive from things to do, and the neighborhood was peaceful and welcoming. I loved the little outdoor space, which was so peaceful and the kids had a great time playing Veronica went above and beyond to ensure we had everything I needed. They were always available for any questions, but also gave me plenty of space to enjoy my stay. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat or an adventure-filled weekend.

Beautiful location with hiking and delicious wine. Clean and cozy accommodation with everything needed to cook a few meals. Gorgeous garden and cute cats. Sarah was friendly and helpful.

Jessica’s place was everything we were hoping for. To start with, she greeted us on welcome which was so unlikely for Airbnbs. Beautiful surroundings. She was kind enough to let my kids feed the animals and walk around with her, even gave us fresh eggs from the chickens. The sunset and sunrise is something else from the balcony. The place was more than enough for us and two kids. Had all the necessities mentioned. I’m definitely coming back..

Thank you so much for a great stay! Especially loved the use of the gym, the sweet animals and peaceful quiet environment. The fast and abundant hot water for showering and washing dishes was much appreciated. The heater works perfectly in this small space too. Very cozy in the winter. Bed will accommodate most travelers, not super firm, not super soft.

We loved our stay at Derek's cottage. It was incredibly peaceful and we enjoyed watching the sheep, kitties, and birds. We are looking forward to returning for another weekend getaway.

Ty was a wonderful host! He was very responsive! It was raining the night we arrived but the directions were clear which made getting in super easy. The cottage is charming and has everything you need for your stay! We picked this house because it looked quiet and peaceful yet close enough to good food, wineries and fun trails- and that’s exactly what we got!

A Magical Stay with Amazing Animals and Hospitality! Our family had an unforgettable experience at Chancellor’s Place! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a beautiful setting surrounded by the most incredible animals—alpacas, donkeys, Highland cattle, pigs, lambs, chickens, and of course, the star of the stay, the Doberman Nicklas! Our kids absolutely loved spending time with all the animals, and it made the trip extra special for them. The cabin was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was spotless, and we truly enjoyed the homemade bread and fresh eggs that Chancellor provided. We also took a tour with him, which was both informative and enjoyable—his passion for the place really shines through. We can't wait to return again to this hidden gem!! We never tire of the views and we slept so great. We adore everything about this nice cottage. Jeff makes our stay so easy and seamless, he is always very responsive and helpful when we have questions. I so enjoy my morning walks around this stunning neighborhood and we enjoyed a wine lunch at Monserate Winery. We will be coming back for another girl's weekend in the future!

This house was immaculate. It was clearly very recently refurbished; everything was in great working condition, and the owner put a lot of effort into carefully selecting many items to make the home feel like a very well maintained country home.

We had been to downtown San Diego before so we're looking for something in the countryside to kickstart a near year-long road trip across the States, and we're thrilled to have found Ashley's RV. Surrounded by nature, we saw majestic turkey vultures in the sky, and frogs jump across the land. The RV was comfortable. The local town, Ramona, was a delight for saloons and grocery stores. We will certainly be back if we were ever in the area. Thanks, again, Ashley!

This was our second time staying at Jodi & Jim’s place and I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s such a peaceful area and their place has all the amenities you need for a trip to this area. It’s become our home away from home and we cannot wait to return! Also Louie is such a sweet boy and no doubt our 7 month old’s favorite part of staying here.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! The views are incredible. The house is beautiful and clean. Scott and Shar were very responsive with any questions and request for recommendations. They even had kid friendly stuff there for the child in our group. The neighbors were friendly too. Can’t wait to stay here again just to see that view again. Definitely worth booking and sharing with family.

Beautiful and well-maintained property and home. The property itself was very peaceful and quiet. The location was perfect as it was a 10 minute drive to the beach, hiking trails within walking distance, and an abundance of great restaurants just a short drive away. A great location if you want to explore Encinitas, Cardiff and Solana Beach. La Jolla and DT SD is not much further down the freeway. The home itself was very clean, well maintained, perfect for my wife and I. The hosts were thoughtful and provided alll the necessary amenities for our stay. We look forward to staying at this property again in the future!

Marina is a wonderful host - considerate, helpful, always available, and a joy to interact with. She's a great historian for her family ranch, and you'll enjoy getting to hear a bit about the history of the place. The ranch is wonderful! The 20 acres are beautiful and provide a peaceful space to relax. The ranch is far enough from urban life to be relaxing, but close enough to easily grab a bite to eat or do some shopping. The Farmhouse itself is a bright and charming place to relax, and has been wonderfully renovated in a charming style, including a beautiful new shower and a well-stocked kitchen. The outdoor garden area is a treat too, and is fully gated so pets can roam freely. I will defintely stay at the Farmhouse again!

James was an amazing host who held my hand through all the details and complications that come with a wedding. Our daughter got married at Mt Woodson a gorgeous venue only 10 min drive from the Dell. We hosted 9 guests very comfortably in the main house and the adjacent ADU. Everyone raved about how beautiful and serene the setting and that they felt so at home. Before the wedding the hair and makeup crew attended to the bridal party in the master suite and it was ideal. Photographers came for first look photos and we got some beauties. The day after the wedding we hosted a catered brunch for 45 guests in the back patio and there was plenty of seating areas for all. There was an extra event fee to cover a large party but so worth it. Not every air BnB will accommodate but James was both gracious and even gave me referrals to caterers. Thank you James for giving us a place to welcome our family for a joyous event and eager to find a reason to return. We have lots of champagne left

What I enjoyed most was the friendliness of Max. He was kind and went above and beyond to help us feel at home. The surrounding orchards and beautiful starry sky of peace and quiet made it top notch.

This was an absolute dream! The little spot was super nice and cozy; exactly what me and my friend needed for our getaway. Everything was super clean and nice, and super cute in my opinion. The host is also extremely responsive and so so helpful I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Also super walkable distance to Ocean Beach and Newport Avenue. Overall a great place and would love to stay here again!

Wow! Molly is the finest example of an exemplary Airbnb host and works hard to give a special and memorable experience. The place is incredibly comfortable, cozy, well decorated and has all you need to feel at home. Loved having two fireplaces, a full kitchen and access to a relaxing hot tub. Bed is big and comfortable and the space is very quiet, private and safe. One of the best stays I've ever had and will definitely be back, a truly wonderful experience.
