We are local to Oceanside and we’re in need of a place to stay while work was done at our home. This is a great hidden local area. Right by an awesome park called Buddy Todd. Close drive to downtown Oceanside and Carlsbad. Very comfortable, quiet, and clean place to rent. The pool and hot tub were both very clean and a great perk too! All communication was quick and clear. Seamless rental process.

Great place for multiple families to stay and gather to have meals together on the yard. Piero has thought of everything on this property. The high level of cleanliness made it very comfortable to stay for several day.

We had an amazing time during our stay. The house is beautiful with great views. There are many windows and glass doors to embrace the outdoors. The house is very homey and the decor is very nice. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens are very soft. We had everything we needed for the whole weekend, the house is fully stocked. The hot tub was a hit! We wish we could have stay longer.

Tyler was extremely helpful, responded immediately, and his place had everything I needed when I had an issue, he sprung into action and fixed it immediately. I would definitely stay at either this place or another one of his places again.

We had a great stay at Miguel’s place for an extended family Spring Break weekend. There was room to hang out downstairs, with ample kitchen and living space. There are three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. There’s also a 1/2 bath downstairs. Miguel was very responsive when we had questions about the house during our stay. He was quick to assist us. The outdoor space was awesome and we were able to enjoy the pool in the San Diego sun. There are a couple of coffee shops and a juice bar that are less than a half mile walk, which was great for our mornings. We went to the beach and zoo, being 20 minutes away from each was convenient. There’s a slightly busier road next to the house, but it didn’t affect us during our stay. Will look to stay here again on our next visit!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Benjamin's lovely home. The home was spotless and all appliances worked. We loved having the private driveway. Benjamin was a gracious, warm and friendly host and we would recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

This is a well maintained clean house with a gorgeous outdoor patio and peaceful views. We appreciated the different outdoor spaces where family members could relax in the shade, play tennis, cool off in the pool or cook dinner on the grill. The gated neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located about 20 minutes from many beautiful surfing beaches and parks. We loved morning beach trips, and the outdoor shower was perfect for easy clean up. Although the owners live on site in the other half of this large residence, we only saw them when we happened to leave the driveway at the same time. Overall a very calm & peaceful place for a San Diego trip.

First and foremost - Kristin is very clear on the expectations with the area. So there is a small homeless population over there. We were never hassled and felt completely comfortable, even at night. We had a parking spot in front of the building every night except one, but we were at the corner across the street so we were okay. The location itself was perfect, we had a lot of great options nearby. The space was really comfy, we felt at home and had no issues with other guests. The building is a bit older so it comes with that (imperfections in the walls, cabinets are older) but everything worked well for us. There were a few mishaps with cleaning but overall we really enjoyed our stay. Would be happy to visit again.

We stayed 5 nights in Nancy's unit and enjoyed every minute. Others noted that it's on a road with some traffic. That's mostly in morning/evening commute hours. The space is well sealed, and the noise is minimal. It's super quiet at night. The kitchen is small, but that's not an issue because it's well stocked with necessary items for cooking. We cooked there 4 of our 5 nights. There's no large oven, only a toaster oven and microwave so keep that in mind if you plan on doing something like roasting a chicken. The refrigerator/freezer has ample space for lots of food/drinks. The bed was comfortable (soft mattress), there's lots of closet space, the bathroom was super clean, and the shower works great (quick hot water when turned on). The living area is well appointed, and the TV worked well. The mini split (heater) in the living room area was a bit finicky, but the bedroom one worked perfectly. Nancy was a great communicator, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!!

Great location. It's near a surfer beach, but if you're comfy with the ocean, it's a great hang. Also, within about 10m of the main La Jolla Beach which is superb. Cy has all your needs for a great beach stay: boogie board, umbrella, towels, chairs, sand mat, toys. Close location to some decent food. Cy communicates quickly and thoroughly, but otherwise stays out of your way. Place was very clean with a cool shower head. Neighbors in the apartment were very friendly as well. Would absolutely recommend for a beach stay.

Outstanding place in a terrific location and a great, communicative, and lovely host. It's right on the water, so you can hear the soothing sounds of the waves crashing. The bed and home is extremely comfortable. There's tons of terrific things to do. The host is very responsive, clear, and kind.

Hidden find! Absolutely loved my stay! Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Place was fully stocked with anything I might need from a stocked coffee bar, bicycles and beach equipment to toothbrushes and toothpaste in bathroom. I loved it! Unfortunately, we were not able to use the grill or fire place due cold rainy temperatures but that is fine. Robert and Kamen provided clear instructions, did not have any problems everything went smoothly. Affordable price, great location, would stay here again!

This apartment is in an ideal residential location for the things we wanted to do including walking to restaurants and various beach access points. It is a short drive to the zoo and to the airport. The rental was very clean inside and the neighborhood is quiet and well taken care of.

This is the real deal... As a guest you will normally walk into a confusing situation but Jason's attention to the simple things "Labels" helped us immediately become comfortable with our surroundings. The property was very private and the enclose that Jason setup allowed our dog run free without any stress to us. If you're looking to disconnect this is the place.

A Magical Stay with Amazing Animals and Hospitality! Our family had an unforgettable experience at Chancellor’s Place! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a beautiful setting surrounded by the most incredible animals—alpacas, donkeys, Highland cattle, pigs, lambs, chickens, and of course, the star of the stay, the Doberman Nicklas! Our kids absolutely loved spending time with all the animals, and it made the trip extra special for them. The cabin was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was spotless, and we truly enjoyed the homemade bread and fresh eggs that Chancellor provided. We also took a tour with him, which was both informative and enjoyable—his passion for the place really shines through. Had a nice cozy cabin stay that felt private but still very close to the town. The place is small, but had a good size bed and amenities to make your own food. :)

The on site manager was just a call away and was very helpful! The area had friendly people, we were able to enjoy a peaceful stay. I’ve stayed at a smaller place which was more expensive and didn’t have as many amenities included so this stay was definitely worth the price ! Great view of the stars while we roasted s’mores, over all a perfect weekend getaway trip!! <3

The Hilltop Lodge was the perfect getaway. A quaint little cabin atop a mountain away from the hustle and bustle of daily life - who could ask for more? The bed was INSANELY comfortable. Loved the porch, and loved the chairs further down the slope to nap in the sun. We also really appreciated not having to remember to bring firewood as there was some provided - we definitely used it since the night was a little chillier than expected! There was nothing fancy about the kitchen, but it had all the things we needed for our stay. We'd love to go back!

Me and my wife absolutely loved this place, especially since we have a toddler. The place is very optimized for it. There is nothing to break at the reach of the toddler so I don't have to be careful all the time. There are some toys and the play structure outside is super fun and so convenient. There's even a toddler table! And the crib came in so handy. There are even black-out blinds in the toddler room so I didn't have to use my black-out curtains. The place is so homey and we enjoyed the fireplace. The patio is so wonderful and peaceful. We had a great time!
