What can I say but wow this was my first time in Santa Monica and first time in LA and this location did not disappoint while it was much cooler outside than I expected which limited my time on the beach the amazing views from the balcony actually kept me in the unit more than I originally anticipated The balcony is on the second floor, and so it comes with a couple of trade-offs while the view is amazing, you do get some odd looks if you are standing only 20 feet off the ground, but I made casual conversations with several of the passer buys, which got some laughs and some waves. I guess it’s just my Kentucky hospitality that I brought along for the trip. Check-in was easy. Communication was great. The parking is secure. The building is an apartment building not a condo building so it’s not maintained as well as some other places I’ve stayed but once inside the unit, it’s a nice little studio that was clean and smelled great

Simple & good for the price with all the basics covered. As noted, you enter through the bathroom, but it had everything I needed for my stay. The space was clean and budget-friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay on the Venice canals! Such a beautiful and peaceful environment right on the water; it was great to explore around the canals. Very walkable to the beach and Abbot Kinney, etc. The place itself was really cozy, clean, and beautiful. Strong wifi as well for anyone working remotely. Thanks very much for our stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The host is a genuinely kind person—extremely responsive and accommodating, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The apartment is located in a quiet, safe, and secure area of Marina del Rey, yet it’s still centrally located near shops and restaurants. Inside, it’s impeccably clean and well-appointed, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds are especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again! Let me know if you’d like any more tweaks!

We had an incredible stay at Bradley's Airbnb in Manhattan Beach! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, as well as multiple restaurants and shops, making it so easy to explore the area. The apartment itself was fantastic: well-stocked, clean, and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of five, including three teenagers. Bradley's father, Robert, was the main contact and is an excellent host. He was always available for recommendations and went above and beyond by giving us a personal walking tour of the area when we arrived. His knowledge of the local spots made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience was amazing, and we highly recommend staying here! It was the perfect place for our family vacation. We can not wait to return!

We stayed at Jonathan’s place for a weekend. The place was spotless! I love it when I walk in and a place smells clean, and it did! Very comfortable bed. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils. Security is wonderful. The views are AMAZING! Especially at night with the SM Pier it up! We loved it. Thank you Jonathan. I would give you a 10 rating if I could.

Great small place to stay right by the beach!

Very nice home and great area! We were a party of five and this home fit us very well. Very clean home and well equipped. It was a two minute walk to Venice beach and boardwalk as well as numerous restaurants and shops within two minutes! We would hang out on the back deck and sit around the gas fire pit as well as using the gas grill to cook dinner. Shawn was always very responsive with any questions we had and made sure our stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend this property!

It’s our 4th or 5th time staying at Debra’s and we’re already planning our next stay! Her home is so charming, plenty of amenities and is a great location for walking to the beach, restaurants, TJoe’s, gift shops, bars, and parks. Weather permitting, her patio, garden and yard is so pleasant and private - a great place to relax, read and just hang out. Debra was also so accommodating when my brother drove down from Nevada and stayed with us a couple days. At the tail end of our stay, her dishwasher stopped working and she’s already sent me a pic of the new DW she purchased! Obviously we love it there and can’t wait to return!

This is our 3rd time staying here, and it is just our home away from home. There is just a sprinkle of magic in this home, and I believe it has everything to do with Bridgett with all her creativity, and love put into all the little details. It just feels like a hug when we stay here, and the memories I have of my daughters are just priceless! So grateful for this place!

This space was exactly what I needed for my solo meditation weekend - a short walk to the beach and strand and yet so quiet and peaceful and clean. I's also romantic and would be a wonderful place for a couple's getaway.

Great host, very responsive and pro-active. Location is really great with sea view. Nice size of bedroom and living area. Nice shower. Bess provided all necessary toiletries, like shampoo, conditioner, shower gels, etc… Furniture are a bit old but it remains comfortable. Cutleries, plates and glasses could be improved. There was only one glass for wine. I was alone, do it was ok, but still… Very happy overall and I am strongly recommending Bess place. Will gladly come back.

Frank is an excellent host and very responsive to all of our needs. The house is huge, right on the beach and definitely as advertised. Furniture is very retro 60s/70s -- and we loved that! Will definitely plan to come back ... perfect if you want to be close to LAX and West LA.

1000% Location. This is our second stay as a family of 4, and we were again fortunate to experience the dream of living ON THE STRAND, steps away from beach perfection. The deck / patio is the perfect place, morning, day, and evening, to have coffee, read, watch sunsets, surfer watch, whale watch, people watch. The large TV and gas fireplace were perfect for late evening hours. Manhattan beach and all of its restaurants, cafes, retail, and amenities is walkable. This place is a treat.

Amanda’s place is beautiful and even better than pictured! The view of the beach is amazing and she had all the beach gear we needed for a lazy day enjoying the sun and sand.

Overall a five star stay, BUT, I wish the host had a printed binder of house rules. I had to reach out to the host for each item that I needed. When I did reach out, the host was very responsive, but still, cutting out a middleman would have been a perfect stay. This came close. Stunning views, lovely space, and host had fresh flowers for my arrival. Five stars, will visit again!

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

We had a great time at Jim’s place. The location is unbeatable and very fairly priced. Jim was very welcoming and the condo had everything we needed.
