San Francisco Bay Area : séjours à la ferme

We had a wonderful stay at The Lodge at Tangled Oaks. It is such a hidden gem! Thank you, Nancy and Alex!

This was not our first stay at the Story Homestead and won’t be our last. The house is perfect for our needs, mini french bulldog, and making meals. It is always exceptionally clean; guest instructions are clear. The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful with lots of delightful bird watching and walks. The fireplace insert is very warming with plenty of wood provided. We are looking forward to staying again in the spring.

A great place to stay with lots of supplies. We especially loved the kitchen and location- how walkable it was to things to do. I loved walking to south shore in my free time or for coffee. The driveway was a bit narrow if you have a larger SUV, but you can still get in and out. It felt like a home away from home as there was evidence of family memories made there. The hosts were extremely responsive to any questions and we would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Marvie's place! There was plenty of space to spread out for my family of 10. We cooked a lot and used the grill which was easy to do. The patio was a nice place to relax and the views were amazing !!!

We would go back in a heartbeat! What a beautiful home and getaway. Recommended for couples or solo travelers. Absolutely stunning location and home.

This is my second time staying at May's place and it is exactly as I remember it, breathtaking upon entrance. This time I brought my partner and she was blown away by the incredible experience. Most notably, sipping champagne in the spa, surrounded by trees, a rushing creek, singing birds, and the sun's rays painting the forest on the hill opposite us. Truly can't be beat.

We've had the pleasure of staying at Cow Track Ranch twice now, and each visit has been fantastic. On this trip, we stayed in the bunkhouse—our favorite spot on the ranch. It’s rustic, full of charm, and truly embodies the ranch’s authentic spirit. This is one of the most peaceful and serene places we’ve ever experienced. The ranch operates with deep care and compassion, practicing responsible animal husbandry, and Melissa and her husband are outstanding stewards of the land. If you're interested in learning about ethical and sustainable ranching, simply observe—it’s a lesson in mindful food production. Cow Track Ranch is a hidden gem. The two Great Pyrenees, Chloe and Willow, warmly welcome guests and set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The ranch itself begs to be explored, with rolling hills that invite long, leisurely walks. We’ve already booked our next visit and can’t wait to return!

We cannot fault our stay at The Loft in any way.. it was the perfect ending of our 5 week holiday in the States. The accomodation had everything we needed to make our week stay comfortable, relaxing and needing for nothing. .. be it listening to vinyl records whilst cooking dinner, sitting outside in the morning sun watching the wildlife go by or relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. We loved “ porch sitting” with Ed and Deborah and getting to know them.. thank you both for the surprise goodies, your company and our wonderful stay. Not many places we want to go back to but The Loft is on our list for next year as we continue to explore the USA. .. 5 star rating

This was our first time using Airbnb and our host, April, set the bar high! It was such a pleasant stay, and nothing could have been better. She is very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us. My son slept on the couch and it was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The views right out the front door are incredible and everything is a short drive or a little walk away. They have some beautiful trails to hike and bike right out from the driveway. If we make it back to Half Moon Bay, we will definitely be booking this again! Thank you for a great experience!

Excellent find in a great location!! Beautiful, eclectic decor, lots of little details, comfy bed, kitchen well-stocked with all the cooking utensils you might need, plus a bowl of snacks and beverages was included :) Great bagel place and restaurants within walking distance. Host was accommodating, efficient with communications, and did a great job of making the apartment feel warm, welcoming, and homey. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful modern barn surrounded by trees and nature - we absolutely enjoyed the space. There is lots of room to spread out inside, a large dining table and outdoor areas. For 6 people it was more than enough. The location was the perfect jumping off location to wineries, restaurants, bike rides, etc. (We rented bikes at Sebastopol Bike Center) The kitchen was well stocked with spices, coffee, teas, cooking oil etc. We liked Andy's Produce just down the street for groceries. I would stay here again.

What a lovely spot. Some airbnbs where all the "rooms" are in the same space feel a little crowded or cramped, and the layout of Sally's place didn't have any of that. Beautiful deck outside that we used for a bit until things started to get too cool--in the summer, it would be a gorgeous place to eat dinner. Cozy kitchen with a little fridge for the food we brought. No stove/oven, but we knew that ahead, and we wanted a simple dinner anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. SUPER clean, lots of windows for a great view. And Sally had my favorite Peppermint tea from Trader Joe's!

If you are looking for a peaceful, serene, and grounding space that is so so well supported, this is your spot. Alexis’ home is a space unlike any other. Her space is welcoming and supportive. During our stay we had (absolutely) everything we needed…everything…from an abundance of towels to every kitchen gadget you could think of. Anytime we thought we may not have something we looked in Alexis’ “Bible” for the home and found it. She was responsive to any question we might have, and in my opinion went out of her way to provide us with a stay we could not have imagined! So prior to staying at her space I could not have dreamed up the stay would have been anything like it was…it was beyond what I could have thought…and if you get to stay here and experience Alexis’ home and her supportive hosting…consider yourself lucky. Very lucky.

We had a wonderful time during our weekend stay! The view is absolutely gorgeous, the photos in the listing don't truly do it justice! It's also very easy to access the walking path along the shoreline. We also took full advantage of the wood-burning fireplace (there was plenty of wood supplied). My only negatives with this place were that 1) the beds aren't very comfy... the mattresses seem quite old and 2) there were a good deal of ants so you have to be careful about leaving anything edible out. Other than those small things, very highly recommend!

Loved this space! Home was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Love that it’s in the countryside, which is very welcomed for this Phoenix gal! Nice break from the concrete jungle.

We didn’t get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Amy’s place. She was responsive to our requests and was very friendly. She has a beautiful place perfect for two and pets.

I was at a work conference in the area and had such a wonderful stay at Sues. My 1.5 year old and nanny were able to join and have a cozy home away from home. We loved the setup with two private rooms/bathrooms and large open kitchen. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at the Milk Barn on the Enriquez Estate was just what we expected and hoped for- a rural genuine cottage on a working vineyard. We could stroll around whenever we wanted and walk through the vineyard. The house is very attractive both inside and out and is outfitted with everything that you might need. There is a caretaker,Nick, onsite most of the time and he was attentive to our needs and questions and invisible at other times so we could enjoy our stay on the vineyard Enriquez Estates makes some very nice wines and they are available to purchase right there. The Milk Barn cottage is not a resort type experience- you are self catering all the time. We rode our bikes directly out of the gate and toured through the Russian River Valley. For us- perfect!!
