Wonderful little hidden gem in Los Gatos. Has old town charm. Clean rooms. All wood/tile flooring so no dirty carpets. Very affordable given location and what you get. Walls are a bit thin (probably due to the age of the hotel) so neighbors can be kind of noisy even at just conversational tones. WiFi was great 90%of the time. Dropped once in a while but not enough to be a problem. Highly recommend if you are visiting anywhere close to the area. Would make an excellent base for exploring the area.

Great experience for our visit to Napa. Centrally located to most vineyards. Very peaceful and tranquil place. Limited access to restaurants. Have to drive. Also, limited access to workouts etc., no close area to go for a run or walk etc., as long as you are ok with running on the Main Street with cars zooming by. Overall, great staff and ambience. We thought it was a little high on the price for the room.

Just a spectacular place to stay. The location, views, surroundings are a very special place. You will not want to miss out on. The serene mountains and things to do are very enjoyable. Your host is awesome and will surprise you with a first class beautiful and yummy breakfast in the morning. A must place to stay and enjoy.

Great place to stay, esp if you have limited budget and moderate expectations. Classic style hotel with grand center stairway, clawfoot bathtub, sloped hardwood floors and delightful staff. Situated rather close to restaurants, transit, coffee shops, convenience stores, etc. High-brow Union Square is one block away; this place is about 1/3 their hotel pricing. Front desk staff (Lan and Meghan?) were super helpful and friendly, with check-in and check-out a breeze. Each "hotel" room has dedicated bath, though there's a shared bath or toilet in the hallway for longer-termers like students. I felt completely safe inside and outside. My room 424 was completely quiet, unusual for San Fran, due to it being on a type of internal breezeway. Yes, July weather was warm but evenings were cool enough without AC or fan. I'd pick this place again, even for business traveler on company dime.

We just loved this stay! The room is lovely, clean, and exactly what we needed. The common areas are also beautiful. Denise was great at communicating with us. We appreciated the last-minute booking request. We were visiting the area for the first time and were glad we found this gem! We will be back!

Great place very centrally located just 2blocks north of union square. Very clean and Sanford was also extremely helpful and responsive to all queries!

Great location, convenient to attractions and work. The staff was super helpful when I forgot an Item in my room after checkout.

Would definitely come back. When you’re on business and don’t need all the bells and whistles, just a place to rest, shower, and enjoy patio scenery, this is perfect.

The room was exactly as described and the location is perfect for what I needed. I had one minor issue but the host responded and resolved within minutes. If I'm ever in Oakland again I'd stay here again.

Amazing stay and very kind hosts!

The pictures don’t do it justice. We had a beautiful balcony with a fire pit and sofas. And then the next morning was an amazing breakfast with the chef cooking right in front of you. A glass of wine while checking in and then set off as everything is walking distance!!! Location is just amazing. Definitely an amazing and different experience than your normal Airbnb. This is the way to do Napa!

I really enjoyed our stay for a concert at the Oakland arena, it was convenient to public transport, secure, quiet and had welcoming common areas where we spent time with our friends who were also staying. The coffee shop downstairs with robot barista was a plus (though I am strictly a tea drinker, haha—my daughter enjoyed it), convenient and friendly! I appreciated being able to store my luggage for a few extra hours after checkout while we explored before our flight left. The courtyard room was quiet and had a relaxing view and atmosphere. Everything was so clean and nicely furnished. Would love to stay again!
