This was my first time in a yurt and it was pretty much exactly as expected. Actually better, I guess, as I slept very well. Had the hot tub to myself from about 7pm to 9pm with the occasional person walking to/from the sauna. Pool was too cold to swim but was great for a quick dip. If you’re one that generally avoids large crowds winter time seem like the perfect time to visit Lupin. Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful too. I’d recommend this place and will certainly visit again.

Great stay in a camping environment. Look forward to going back.

Stayed with the family for a weekend and was amazing! beautiful property, lots to do outside, kayaking on pond was awesome, breakfast was delicious. Ana was super responsive to questions. My kids and I totally want to return!

if you want a restful, private, clean place, this is it. Furthermore if you’re a birder, birds are surrounding you! A very calming, centering yurt. Thank you.

Nestled in the redwoods, Peter's yurt was the perfect home base for our Santa Cruz trip! Beaches just a few minutes away and Felton and Santa Cruz are both easily accessible. There was some bad weather- during which Peter was kind enough to keep us updated about possible road closures and power outages. The yurt itself is a magical space. Sleeping under the full moon and towering redwoods was just something else. Highly recommend. Thank you, Peter!

We had such an incredible time here! The nature is absolutely breathtaking and the Earthen Yurt was cozy and gorgeous. Our hosts were friendly and responsive, and we will definitely be back to check out the sauna! Thank you for a magical weekend—we highly recommend this stay :)

Wahida has obviously put so much thought and care into every detail of the yurt and property. The interior is comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated, from the design of the yurt itself to the soft faux fur rugs, the comfortable mattress (firm but not unforgiving), the various levels of lighting available, and the cute throw pillows on the futon couch. The grounds are well cared for, the outdoor kitchen easy to use, and the smell of cedar in the sauna and shower space is lovely. I got to relax reading in the hammock, soak in the hot tub under the stars, and watch the sunrise through the trees from the deck. We enjoyed the space for a romantic weekend away, but would also bring the kids to enjoy the pool. We definitely hope to return!

Veronika's place is fresh and well decorated. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom is new and well appointed. It's great for two couple or a friends get together and while the living space isn't large, it has an enormous porch with beautiful view of vines and trees and hills in distance. The outdoor space makes it 2x the size, so be sure to go when you really can enjoy the nice weather. Veronika was super responsive to any communication. It's nice to stay somewhere that doesn't feel in the heart of touristy Sonoma and every stay should include booking pre reservations at Glen Ellen Star. Casual and super delicious.

Lovely cottage more than lived up to its name. We had a divine experience in the most beautiful, peaceful setting. Our hostess was an angel and I would stay again, next time for longer!

The yurt and adjoining kitchen/bathroom were unique, beautiful, and spotless. The grounds were amazing - wish we could have explored more, but the rain kept us inside for much of our visit. However, we could hear hawks, owls, geese; rain pattering on the roof; all sorts of soothing nature sounds from inside the yurt. The mattress and linens were an absolute dream. I want one of those mattresses!! All-in-all, we were comfortable and cozy. Thanks again for the zucchini bread and gluten-free cookies, Susan!!

Eoin was a lovely host! We had a fantastic time and Eoin was very flexible! Would come back again for the peace and serenity!

This place is absolutely stunning. They have nice beaches right on the property. So many amenities. They have shared bathroom & showers even a place to wash dishes. The view was spectacular. Lots of restaurants near by and close to the old mining town. Love watching the rafters drift by. Mike and Bonnie are amazing hosts. They even have ice on site for purchase. We will be back!

The yurt was exactly as advertised. It does get cold in yurts, but the space heater provided, combined with the blankets, kept us warm! The bathroom, although private use for renters, is inside the owner’s home. It wasn’t weird for us, but might be something that people seeking seclusion might not find accommodating or suitable to their needs. The owners were transparent about the animals on the property. I don’t mind energetic animals, but if you are apprehensive around dogs, I would advise you to inquire with the owner if they can stay inside while you’re navigating the property. Hospitality was great and we had a great anniversary stay-action! Thanks for everything!
