Amanda’s place and garden were gorgeous in the early springtime and it was the perfect place to get ready for my wedding and take our first look pictures outside. Amanda was super quick to respond and was very accommodating to my last-minute request.

This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

Bobs place was more than we expected. We’ve never stayed in a place that has all the amenities and items that often get overlooked by other AirBnBs like oil, salt and pepper, and extra food and drinks. More than enough towels and super clean and organized. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Coach House! If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and out of the ordinary for a weekend getaway- this is the place. Toni had clear and thoughtful instructions, both on the app and inside the cabin. I’d recommend checking in during the daytime if it’s your first time on highway 17. Thankfully it wasn’t our first rodeo and we were able to find the place at night without too much trouble. There’s a lot to explore around the property, including horses, goats, wild deer, etc. I’d recommend to anyone that wanted to stay near the Santa Cruz/Los Gators area! :)

This was my second stay here… that pretty much says it all. Love the location, cozy “fireplace” with the heat and look of a fire without the hassle, and private outdoor space.

Of the many airbnbs/vrbos/vacasa/plums that I have rented around the world, Lea’s place reflected her utter thoughtfulness and consideration of a guest’s needs and wants. The cabin is located in a private, secluded area, surrounded by trees, including redwoods, and with a large deck overlooking a babbling stream. I felt right at home. The cabin was spacious, airy with high cathedral ceilings, and multiple skylights. I felt right at home. The fully stocked kitchen, with lots of food basics, ground coffee, snacks, bottled water, and fruit, had everything needed to cook in a logically intuitive place. The bed and furniture were very comfortable. The bathroom has every amenity, in case you forget anything. Lea also encouraged me to use her water hose to rinse off my muddy mountain bikes. If I ever hosted an airbnb, though I doubt I will ever want to, I can only hope to be as thoughtful and hospitable a host as Lea. Outstanding in every way. I want to stay again, even bring my husband.

We stayed here to explore San Francisco and take day trips around the area! SF is about 20-30 minutes depending on what part of the city. Half moon bay is around 30 minutes as well. SFO is very close around 15 minutes. You do hear the occasional rumble of airplanes landing and taking off but wasn’t an inconvenience for us. This Airbnb is separate from the main house and you need to walk through the backyard to get there. We did find a couple spiders in the unit. Maybe because it’s an older home and surrounded by nature. Overall, we had a pleasant experience staying here. Parking is convenient on the driveway and the unit had everything we would have needed. Hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed our stay!

I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay, and interfacing with Tom. The place was clean, tranquil, and well appointed. Tom was responsive, flexible, and kind. To top it off, their two chickens were the quietest, cutest little beings to be adjacent to and were welcome companions on the property. It was such an oasis, comfortable bed, great desk, and could hear the creek just below the window. Will definitely return.

This place was amazing, recently moving from another stay we had to rent for 2 weeks while we waited for our things. This place had everything we could have needed. If you have dogs Ela’s place will be perfect for you, the backyard is fenced and my dogs loved it. The location is also great as there are a lot of stores, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Super cute little place with beautiful surroundings. It has everything you need and all instructions were very clear. It was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Tera was very friendly and accommodating!

Lara and Emkay have created a beautiful stay. Not too far from the city; but a beautiful escape. They reached out often and made sure we had everything we needed. They were so kind and generous. Looking forward to our next stay!

Brian and Danielle were fantastic hosts. So warm, accommodating, fun and friendly! The place was exactly what I needed - near work, a cozy place to sleep and store my stuff while waiting to move into my apartment. I only used the place to sleep as I was mostly at work/hanging out w/ friends - and this place is perfect for that! I'm a light sleeper and slept very well here! I'm also always worried about being cold, but this place is very well insulated and can hold heat very well. Highly recommend as a place to crash, and would def stay again here if needed! thanks Brian & Danielle!

I absolutely loved my stay at this magical little cabin. It felt like I was in a fairytale, from the creek to the beautiful roses and moss covered trees. The hot tub and hammock made the space ultra relaxing. I am beyond grateful I was able to stay here, definitely a gem and I will be back in the summer!

After all the glowing reviews already posted, there is not much to add. The space was so clean and inviting, and Ena went above, and beyond to accommodate my allergies. My husband appreciated the chocolates that greeted us when we arrived. Because it was listed as a cottage, we were expecting a much smaller place. The home has a spacious, very comfortable living room, a full kitchen with kitchen table that seats four, a full-size bedroom, and well-appointed bathroom. I hope to spend more than a week there on my next visit.

Sarah was a wonderful host and the place was even better than expected. We appreciated having such a beautiful, serene place to rest our heads after exploring. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the area!

This is a super sweet lovely little gem perched over a creek… benefit of having cats and lots of nature around. Incredible location, and lovely hosts. Ideal for a base, writing, reflection and pausing.

Loved our stay at Nanci's cottage, which is tucked away in a peaceful green little oasis in Rockridge. It was just as expected from the description - cozy, comfortable and nicely decorated. The garden outside the door is a delight, even in cool weather. Communication with Nanci was great and we were very fortunate to have the opportunity to meet her and Cinder in person when we checked in. Located within easy walking distance of Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Market Hall, Safeway, as well as BART and other fun shops such as Pegasus Books, Hudson Bay Café, Chocolate Dragon Café and Cole Hardware, we had no need for a rental car while in town. We will definitely be back!

Diana's guest house was such a cozy and comfortable stay for my family (two adults & a toddler). There were many thoughtful touches from the host. The bed was cozy and there was enough space for all of us and our things. The location is lovely and quiet, we felt safe and had no issue with street parking. It's well located to great restaurants and shops. We would love to stay here again sometime, I'm happy to recommend it!

My second time visiting and will be back in the future, easy check in and private. The deck with the fireplace over looking the Creek is magical. makes you feel like you're in another world.
