My wife and I planned a visit to Sequoia, but when we got there smoke from a wildfire made it untenable. I contacted Heike, at the last minute, because we figured we'd head to the central coast. She responded immediately. And, lucky for us, the place was available. It's right next to a tiny airport (but you hardly hear any sounds and it's fun to watch a few small planes, e.g. Cessnas, take off or land. It's across from a park. There's a diner that's walking distance away. Pismo Beach, perhaps two miles away, has everything you'd want from fine dining to markets. I've never been to Oceano before. Now, I'm sure we'll go back. It's quieter than places like Morro Bay and SLO. The unit itself is a bit cramped, but not in a bad way. There's three bedrooms and two baths, and it's a two-story unit. I recommend Heike's place whole heartedly. She's super responsive. When one of the TV remotes didn't work, she had batteries delivered because she was out of town! Signed, Alan K

This place has beautiful views and it’s very tastefully decorated. My favorite view was from the bedroom. I loved this cabin. although there’s cabins nearby It’s very quiet and peaceful. The deck needs a little TLC but other than that I definitely would recommend for anyone who wants to stay in a beautiful place with nice views. Just keep in mind that if you do have a pet there is a pet fee in addition to the cleaning fee.

My wife and I (plus our dog) had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin for the long weekend. It had just snowed a little bit the previous week, and our dog had a blast hiking the trails that are a short 5 minute drive from the cabin. There’s a fenced in yard that we didn’t use but seemed perfect for cookouts in warmer months. But we had a blast just playing board games and going for hikes nearby. We also enjoyed cooking one of the nights, the kitchen has everything you need. Above all, Nicole was so helpful and responsive leading up to the stay. She even let us check in early when I asked. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a cozy cabin stay, especially if you have a dog!

My granddaughter and I spent four nights at the cabin and had a wonderful time.. The place is thoughtfully furnished with massage chairs, karaoke machine games, and everything we needed to feel comfortable. The setting is unbelievable with the creek right out the front door and surrounded by fresh pine trees. We were able to walk to the golf course and there is a swimming pool, a huge park restaurants and everything twenty minutes away by foot.. The place always feels very healing, and my grandaughter is completely entertained in the naural setting. Clean, comfortable, and cozy with a modern cabin vibe to it.. Everything is included salt, pepper oil utensils. We were very comfortable and can't wait to go back again.. This is our second time staying, and we look forward to the third.

My family had a great stay in this lovely home in Goleta. The space is clean and spacious, with ample parking and a lovely backyard. It was easy to find and access, and it's a short drive to downtown, the beach, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property and view are absolutely gorgeous, peaceful yet close to Los Olivos and all the wineries. The unit is spacious, clean and has SO many extra amenities - coffee, tea, toiletries, plenty of towels, they thought of everything you might need. Bed and linens so comfortable and huge TVs in both the living room and bedroom. We loved being able to use the hot tub under the stars. Our golden retriever was in absolute heaven being able to run around the fenced property and it was so nice that they let him use the pool too! We look forward to staying again.

Just a beautiful and clean place!! Loved so many things including the wood stove, galaga arcade, tub, cul da sac, porch rocking chairs, backyard patio and grill, and many more!! Definitely want to make this cabin a yearly place to visit! Steph was super responsive and very friendly as well as flexible!! Actually this place is terrible! Don’t stay here! I want it all to myself 😉

Sylvia and Terry were great at communication, having the place ready for me way before checking in, the steps to getting in the guesthouse, and overall, the amenities needed for one night. I would totally recommend booking their place if you're looking to stay in the Goleta and Santa Barbara area!

Another excellent stay at the farm. This was our second visit to Rancho Grande, and it was so much fun for our son to get to see his "favorite animals" again. Alex greeted us when we arrived and then we headed off to explore. This is such a unique experience because you really are on your own as much as you want to be. Our favorites: Hanging with the goats. Visiting Albert the camel. Exploring the farm on the gator. Making s'mores in the large firepit outside of our cabin. Running around with all the dogs. Visiting the pond. Eating dinner up at the camp kitchen by the pond. *The cabin does have a kitchen, but we loved eating up at the main camp kitchen because of the view. This is a really special place that fully allows you to disconnect and take a breath away from the "real world". We'll be back again soon! Thank you, Richard & Alex!
