Highly recommended! This was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary--quiet, secluded, beautiful ocean view, comfortable furnishings, and a wonderful host. We enjoyed the fireplace, views from the deck, lovely yard, and well-appointed kitchen which allowed us to stay in and enjoy home-cooking. Easy access to the Monterey Bay area and a charming place to return to each evening. Thank you to Katcha for her prompt response to our request for a coffee grinder! Overall a splendid stay.

We had a fantastic family getaway and did not want to leave; we will definitely book again. The location is absolutely perfect, the house is exactly as described, super clean, fully stocked, and very comfortable. Ann was great and super responsive....5 stars all the way around.

Jim was extremely friendly and kept out of the way - that is he out doing his activities and when our paths crossed we chatted about things. The place was clean and all our needs were met without any problems. We plan on returning next year.

Liz’s place was exactly as described and a lovely stay. We enjoyed walking to the beach every morning and eating out on the deck. Appreciate all the shelving and storage space.

Had a wonderful stay! Janet’s home was very peaceful and relaxing. Literally had anything we could need during our stay. She also let us check out at 1 so we could go on one last adventure without being in a rush! I would definitely recommend her place, & stay there again sometime!!

It was a nice stay! It felt like home. The neighbourhood is very quiet and at the same time, it is in a walkable distance to the ocean (~6 min). 5 bikes were a very nice addition to our activities!

Laura’s place was spot on for our short stay. Beach was a stones throw away, which is where the kids wanted to spend their time. The place was perfect, it was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Detailed instructions for the apartment to go alongside the stay and useful local information.

This was our 2nd visit to Petra and David’s home. We enjoyed our stay so much that we came back to celebrate my dad’s birthday again! My dogs felt right at home when we entered. Such an easy check-in and check-out process. Great communication from the hosts! It’s a short walk to the dog friendly Seabright Beach. It’s an even shorter walk to the Boardwalk. Downtown is even walkable, but we chose to drive 5 minutes to get to restaurants and shops. The home was stocked with essentials. We’ll miss waking up to the Boardwalk view from the upstairs balcony. We hope to visit again soon!

Our 5 day stay was great. Felt right at home. Great location w an amazing view. Place was nice and clean. We found beach gear as well that’s provided by the host. We were greated with complimentary snacks and bottled bubbly water. Kitchen had everything needed to cook if need be. We will definitely be coming back once the opportunity comes around.

In a word, David's place is perfection! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, fabulous linens, ideal location for unmatched views, awesome beach gear and a fantastic, communicative host! Best stay we've ever had at Seascape and one of the most gorgeous beachfront properties we enjoyed anywhere! Thank you David!

Fantastic location with phenomenal views! The unit was clean and cozy and we had everything we needed for a great weekend away.

The condo was great. We had an issue with the master bathroom shower but Bjorn took care of it right away the same day that it was noticed. The location of this condo is perfect. Right on the ocean and within walking distance for dining, shopping, and several things to do on the ocean. Would recommend this condo to anyone.

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

I will echo on so many other reviews that were left for this Aptos property. The condo itself was beautiful, spacious for 4 adults and 2 little kids. There was easy access to the beach (5 minutes through a paved path) as well as access to different pools and a restaurant. Even with a great property, I’m also giving this a 5-star review because Annie was great to communicate with. She offered wonderful recommendations during our stay, and any minor issue we had, she offered a fix for very quickly. She genuinely made our stay worth every penny spent at this location. The added amenities that she provided were definitely a great bonus!

This condo is in a great location at the resort. The view is beautiful, perfect walking distance to the restaurant, pools and beach. The beach toys were much appreciated! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed, even a hot water kettle for tea. I appreciated the homey touches and a beautifully decorated space. We had a great time.

Jane was prompt and responsive to every communication. When we got there, we bought groceries for our stay. After one night in the refrigerator, some stuff was frozen. I noticed the fridge had been at the lowest temperature setting. The previous renter had probably wanted to get drinks/beer cold quickly and forgot to turn the temperature to a typical setting. Jane and her husband were responsive and even compensated us for our loss; I wasn't looking for that because it wasn't their fault. Nonetheless, we were thankful for the compensation.

Enjoyed our stay at Terri’s place on the river in Capitola. Was very clean and peaceful with lots of great amenities. Enjoyed the fire pit by the river. Was very quiet. We will definitely come back, one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in Capitola.

Really enjoyed our stay at Tess’s place. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or hot tub because we went exploring, but the grounds were beautiful and the condo was just as pictured. It was perfect for a three day stay. Tess was very clear with instructions and responsive.

I have been disappointed with other stays that claimed to be steps to the beach. This unit really is steps to the beach. It's the closest we have ever been to the beach in a rental house. It's unfortunate that our stay coincided with extremely high surf and the beach was being cleared of debris from the collapsed Santa Cruz pier. We'll return on a good beach day. The house was fully stocked with necessities. It was clean and roomy. The beds were comfortable.

Wonderful small home in Capitola. Was perfect for our family of four. The home feels very friendly with grandma artifacts around and there’s so much you can walk to from the house. A great home base for our 3 days exploring between Monterey and Santa Cruz. The host was detailed and friendly. Would love to visit again on our next trip to the area.

Perfect place for a family getaway. The home is conveniently located within walking distance to multiple beaches, and just a few minutes drive to great restaurants and grocery stores. Well equiped kitchen and a wonderful backyard/playroom for plenty of fun for the children. Great place with wonderful hosts who were attentive and responsive. We'll be visiting again!
