Absolutely lovely! The hosts were welcoming and the room was clean with everything we could have needed. It was a short walk to the boardwalk, the wharf, a bowling alley, and the 'casino'. The garden is beautiful and I loved learning about the history of the house. Adriana was very cute with the breakfast and making sure we were comfortable. I love that it is an actual BnB with the opportunity to chat with fellow travelers! I would love to visit again.

Adriana and Constantin were great hosts. Adriana went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and we’re constantly fed with snacks. Breakfast was great! I stayed at this location for the Ironman and it was close to the pier and depot park. Everything was walkable. I would recommend for this place for future athletes or just a nice B&B getaway!

Brigitte and Glen were thoughtful and kind hosts. Communicative and hospitable even to offering wonderful pastries. I enjoyed their space and would recommend it 100%!!

Adriana was the perfect hostess! This property is an easy walk to the Santa Cruz Wharf. My son completes the half triathlon yesterday. We had a great stay.

Cliff house is a cozy, peaceful place to be. We came for our son's graduation and stayed a week, and Adriana and Constantine were lovely, kind hosts, with many stories to tell. Breakfast, conversation, beautiful garden and porch for relaxing, and a fantastic location. We hope to stay there again.

This is an excellent find. This was clearly a BnB before AirBnB's were a thing. Location was secluded, but close to a main road/fwy. Beautiful gardens and grounds. Peaceful music playing inside and outside the facility. Wonderful room with oversized tub in the Morning Glory suite. Very responsive hosts. And served actual breakfast (! which can be a rarity), that was a tasty, carefully prepared mix of protein and vegetables and/or sweets in delightful combinations. This came with an assortment of teas and coffee. Very highly recommend this place-definitely want to come back sometime!

Amazing B&B! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the room was perfectly clean/tidy. We really loved our stay and miss petting Chanko the pig already! Would absolutely recommend staying here, the location was super easy to find and convenient for exploring Santa Cruz and Capitola.

I needed a last minute room in Santa Cruz for a wedding. I stayed in the main house and the room was tidy and clean. The space was quirky but comfortable. Sharon was responsive and helpful. I enjoyed hearing the sounds from the amusement park out the windows.

Our stay at Sand Rick Farm was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet anniversary vacation. It rained the entire time we there but that really was not a problem because of the ease that Jens place gave us. We walked around the property in the rain, enjoyed the sun room surrounded by foliage, had delicious breakfasts at the communal table, and my favorite part, lavished in the tub. We had two amazing meals nearby following Jen’s recommendations, Shadowbrook restaurant with a fun way to get there and Persephone nearby. We also loved the nearby rec going to the Niesen Redwood Forest which was so enchanting-even in drizzling rain! This is a thoughtfully run place that I would recommend to anyone celebrating something or looking for a beautiful venue to be wed. I hope to be back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Roger and Nancy's home for our long weekend trip to the Santa Cruz Mountains! Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. It was a great jumping off point for hiking at Henry Cowell State Park, wine tasting, the Mystery Spot, and Santa Cruz itself. The home feels like you're in a treehouse; it has lovely outdoor seating areas and the hummingbirds are so captivating– we've never seen so many in one place! We certainly appreciated all the breakfast foods and extras touches, like chocolates, slippers and a cozy robe. We were three adults so the two bedrooms with shared bathroom on the lower level of the house was just perfect for us. Felt very private. Would certainly stay with Roger & Nancy again if we are headed to the Santa Cruz area.

Sand rock farm was the perfect getaway! So beautiful and peaceful ~ we woke up early to watch the sunrise and got to listen to the birds start their day. The property is gorgeous and the room was so sweet. The breakfast was delicious and the chef was incredibly kind and warm. Jen had some great recommendations when we went out to town - she was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. Definitely will be coming back!
