We never wanted to leave! beautiful place, extremely gorgeous surroundings, lots to do nearby, great recommendations from Stefan and all the guests felt like they had the best room. I loved how pelicans would fly by right at eye level, we could pop down the beach in less than a minute, I could look out and see the endless ocean from almost any room, the kitchen was big and bright, and I even saw some whales migrating north!!

Wonderful small home in Capitola. Was perfect for our family of four. The home feels very friendly with grandma artifacts around and there’s so much you can walk to from the house. A great home base for our 3 days exploring between Monterey and Santa Cruz. The host was detailed and friendly. Would love to visit again on our next trip to the area.

Love Liz's place. I have stayed her numerous time and will continue to do so. What I especially LOVE: Cozy Private Patio High ceiling (feels spacious) Walk to coffee shop in the morning Walk to dinner in the evening Walk to the beach all the time Lovely neighborhood I highly recommend Liz's place!!!

It's a beautiful home and location. I love the view from every window indoors. The beds are comfortable, too. We had a chance to enjoy the hot tub and sauna. I definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed staying in David's place very much! It was short walk to the Beach Board Walk and Seabright Beach so we took our dog for a walk multiple times a day :-) Our teenagers also enjoyed getting to the Board Walk + hanging out in the roomy attic (king size bed + extended sofa). We could actually see the roller coaster from the window + hear *subtleI* Board Walk screams from the room, which we thought was cool. David and the hosts let us in the house before our check in time and was super responsive whenever we contacted. For complete transparency, people very sensitive to noise or have little kids may have a little concern since it's facing to a relatively busy streat. It is also near a rundown motel (which didn't bother us). Overall, super satisfied with the place.

My family and I loved staying here for our kiddo's spring break. The location was just perfect. Convenient for anything you could want to do in Santa Cruz or surrounding area. And being just off West Cliff was divine. The house itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hot tub with a view of the ocean was a definite perk. Our host was very responsive, clear, and friendly in their communication. No cons, only pros here!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. I loved hearing the waves at night. The house was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay here again. The property is beautiful and close to restaurants, shops, and great walking trails.

Dania’s home was lovely! It was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend away. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive into town from the home. The drive to and from town goes fast and is well worth the isolation and peace you get at the home. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring an eye mask as the wonderful windows let in lots of wonderful natural light!

The condo was great. We had an issue with the master bathroom shower but Bjorn took care of it right away the same day that it was noticed. The location of this condo is perfect. Right on the ocean and within walking distance for dining, shopping, and several things to do on the ocean. Would recommend this condo to anyone.

We have been coming to Pajaro Dunes for 37 years. Our family loves it. This house needs some attending to. In one of the downstairs showers, the soap dish on the wall was broken. You need to be VERY VERY careful. My nephew cut his thumb and needed to get stitches. I was told I could check in before the rain started, but the office hadn't unlocked the house on their end. I had to drive back to the check in office and ended up getting wet while unpacking the car. Not the end of the world, but a little irritating. It took quite awhile to figure out the space heaters, some did not work. Kitchen pots and pans need updating - bring your own!! We had a great time and lots of great memories continue for our family.

Our family had a great time staying here! The condo was beautiful, clean, spacious and stocked with all the supplies we needed! The bedrooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of space, the kitchen was great and we appreciated the coffee bar and pans for cooking. The living room is a fun place to chill and the condo is super close to the pool and tennis courts and the beach! Vincent was friendly and easy to communicate with and check in and check out was very easy. Hoping to stay again in the future!

Loved this place very much! We enjoyed our wine and snacks and movies in the living room and 3 rd bed room which both have nice views and deck in front. Too bad the trip was short and will go back again!

Wonderful place to stay! Crystal has done a beautiful job with this place - everything you may need is available to you. The view is incredible and the beach and restaurants are just a short walk down the hill. Highly recommend!

We were blown away by this beautiful and spacious house. It’s the perfect size for six people, from the bedrooms and bathrooms to the enormous living room. Janiece is very helpful and responsive, providing us with clear check in and checkout instructions and replying to our questions within minutes. Above all, we were most impressed by the gorgeous views from the deck and the big, peaceful backyard. We explored Capitola and Santa Cruz during our stay, which were a 10 and 20 minute drive away respectively. My only advice for staying here is to be prepared to walk up a flight of wooden stairs to reach the front door and be careful while unloading your car in the driveway because it is quite steep. We can’t wait to be back!

Clean and spacious place. Quirky but perfect for us. But if a drive to anyplace except the slough and beach.

Truly a guest favorite! We came with two young kids (1 and 4) and we loved every aspect of this place. Tom was also extremely helpful with everything. We were even allowed to check in early at very short notice as I had confused the time change and the kids were tired after a long flight from the East coast. The way to think about this place: LOTS of space in the house, as well as in the garden, everything is super secure (Tom installs baby gates if needed), so as a parent you can relax much more than in any usual airbnb. The location is world class: You can walk down to an amazing natural beach, it's right at the end of the block, and a few feet down that beach there is even an amazing surf spot (rent your board at HMB rental); within 10min you're also in the middle of the redwoods where you find more pure nature, with amazing trees, little creeks etc. Wish we could have stayed longer. The whole family loved it.

Place was great--fit our needs perfectly. Recommend opening windows at night to bring in that beautiful fresh air. Our 4.5 yo was absolutely over the moon by all the activities outside in the yard-- very well equipped area for adults and kids alike! The sand toys were also a hit--we loved walking to the beach and appreciated how well written the instructions were. Just took a photo of them and went on our way. Only bummer is the lack of sidewalks in Aptos, but most cars do seem to watch for walkers. Marianne's ice cream is great, and tamales across the street also fantastic. Weather cooperated and the easy access to Santa Cruz and Monterey made this location ideal. Colm was a great host--responded immediately to any questions I had. Very thankful for this spring break trip--we truly feel rejuvenated!

This comfortable house worked great for two couples and our friends who dropped by for dinner. The location is wonderful - super quiet and an easy walk to the ocean, optionally through a beautiful park. Short drive to good markets and restaurants. We enjoyed the spacious hot tub and appreciated being able to bring our dog. It is more comfy and cozy than super glam, but that was perfect for us. Ian was a great communicator and shared some wonderful recommendations - don't miss La Hacienda Taqueria!

The house was in the best location, just a short walk from the Point (less than a block). The sound and smell of the ocean were clear from the time we stepped out of the car. The house is surprisingly spacious. From the outside, it looks like a little charming beach cottage, but once you enter the gate, you are greeted with a hidden wonderland with all the amenities you would expect at a fancy home. The private yard has a private outdoor shower nook, hot tub, outside fire, and TV. The outside space is well designed and laid out for living and entertaining in the warm evening sea breeze. The covered space includes outdoor couches, a fireplace, and a large outside dining table steps away from the gas barbecue (which worked great) to cook dinner on our first night. The magic continues inside with very clean, sleak and extremely functional interior spaces. The living room and kitchen are open to each other and warm and inviting with plenty of comfortable seating. Its amazing all around!

The Beach Hill Hideaway was the perfect spot to gather with family for a fun get away. The house is lovely with all the amenities you could possibly need. It is walking distance to everything. We parked the car when we arrived and did not need it the whole time we were there. We especially loved barbequing and eating on the outdoor patio. There is also a great firepit outside too. It s a beautifully decorated and yet kid friendly too. We will definitely return. The Del Castillo family

En easy breezy (literally, great ocean breeze) for a family of 4 teens and two parents to stretch out and enjoy one another and our own spaces. Hot Tub was a crowd pleaser. Steve was a clear communicator.
