This house was just what we needed for a few days while we had family celebrations to attend. It was super clean and tidy and had everything we needed. A kettle would be a great addition but a pot worked too. While we had a little hiccup in the entry process, we did finally get in and all was well. Just an fyi for light sleepers, there is a fair bit of road noise so bring ear plugs if you are susceptible to waking easily. I highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely holiday weekend in this spacious and well-furnished house. Our hosts were responsive and accommodating. We felt the house was set up beautifully and really had everything we needed for our large group. This place is a real gem and I highly recommend.

We had such a great stay here! The apartment was stylish, clean, and had everything we needed to bring in the new year with friends. Also loved being able to park our car in a safe area and great walkable location to great restaurants / bars. Everything looks like the pictures and Frances was great at communicating if we needed something. She even left a bottle of rosé for us in the fridge! It was wonderful, would absolutely stay again.

We took our electric car to Civic Center. It would be 80% charged at 11pm. We could have left it overnight. However, when we explained to Dave that we tired and were unable to charge from our arbnb unit; he explained it was very old wiring and that he would extend the power from the back with a 100 foot extension. It was a trickle charge using 120 amps. Yet his responsiveness and the convenience was very nice. He was so enthusiastic after talking with us that he thought he might buy an electric vehicle with it a 240amp charger which his guests could use for an additional charge. I was so grateful later to be able to relax by taking a walk right out the door. The air and sounds of the birds were refreshing. Walking through a fence entrance to the parking lot/lake, I found a trail along wetlands to a newer neighborhood next to & looping back to our older village-like neighborhood. Our West facing windows had a direct view of the Civic Center Spire which I loved.

This Airbnb is special. It felt like staying with family friends. Lots of character and the garden is a gem. Sara really opens up her home to you - feels like the way Airbnb used to be. And Sara is an amazing host. You're also steps from the Haight and Buena Vista park.

Dan was a great host. He responded in a timely manner and very helpful with a change in our itinerary dates. The home is in a desirable location in Alameda. It’s within minutes to the beach, restaurants and retail. The big park across the street was convenient and saved our sanity a handful of times with our toddler and dogs. It was nice having a view of the park and playground from the living room window. The space is neat, clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely book this home again on our next trip to Alameda!

Courtney's house was a beautiful place to stay in San Rafael. It was meticulously designed, and even more tasteful and well-curated than we expected. It was everything we wanted for a tranquil northern California retreat. We've been recommending it to all our friends and relatives who need a place to stay in Marin County.

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

Feng’s home was lovely and very spacious! We had a group of 8 guests staying and it could accommodate a larger group very well! Thank you for a lovely accommodation, Feng!

The house for our needs perfectly and Noel was helpful when we let him know of a couple small issues. The kitchen was perfect for our family dinners together so we didn’t have to worry about eating out each meal.

Exceptional hilltop home! Highly recommend. Full wall of windows offers stunning views, and living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed throughout. Entire home has a designer touch. Well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, furniture and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the fragrant, well-maintained spring garden, with numerous blooming daffodils and hyacinths. Walking paths throughout. Geraldine was responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants that proved spot-on. Geraldine has clearly put careful thought into creating a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting

I stayed at the place to getaway to recharge. The place was great. Clean, cozy and nice tree views. The kitchen had everything I needed and the house was well equipped. Check in and out was super smooth. Melodie was so sweet and great from begging to end. Hope to come back when I need to recharge again.

The place was a stand-alone building with windows on 4 sides and 2 glass doors so could really enjoy the views, still being private. Parking right outside the door. others were staying on the property as well, but no noise; very quiet. place had just what I needed, simple and clean--great. communication was great and Hila was responsive and helpful. Great stay, would stay there again -- thank you!

It’s a very private abode even though you share a gated entrance with the owner. Barry couldn’t have been friendlier and had a great spirt about him. We nerded out on landscaping, tiny homes, and rivers. He sold me on giving the American River some of my time this year. I’d absolutely stay here again. The only real issue was the effort to climb down a ladder half awake. I did it in the dark so I wouldn’t lose my cat eyes and wake up too fast. There’s plenty of outside lounging areas and the views are pretty. I had a decent view of the night sky to the east and above. The town may be busy but you’re perched hillside under some great live oaks. The neighborhood was full of quiet families and quirky houses that are truly Marin County in nature. Open space trails are just uphill and the town is just down. It’s very convenient to everything.

Joy’s place was absolutely fantastic. The room was peaceful and tucked away in a really serene backyard. The backyard is fenced and our pups were happy to explore. Joy was an excellent host, very accommodating, and extremely helpful. We would recommend her place to everyone.

This was definitely the best airbnb I've found in the area! The space was private and comfortable. Plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, and paper towels (a surprising annoyance of mine with stays other places!). Responsive host. Helpful instructions. Felt right at home in the space. Clean and tidy. Comfy bed, pillows (actually 4 of them, thank you!), and overall temperature of the apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. One thing to note is that it is conveniently located across from bart station, so there is some noise associated with that, but you ARE in the city, so there's that. It didn't really bother me, just something to note if you're a light sleeper (but the bed was so comfy, it didn't phase me much!). I stayed for 12 days, and it was perfect for my needs. I would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

Great stay while visiting relatives in Menlo Park and East Palo Alto. Nice neighborhood. Easy to get in and out of the neighborhood. Quick access to the 101 with nearby shopping options. Very helpful and responsive hosts. The home was clean and as advertised. Would definitely stay here again.

We did an extended stay at Roya’s place while we were looking for an apartment of our own in SF. It really was the perfect little temporary home for us. The apartment is so cozy and Roya supplied the apartment with everything you could possibly need. The back patio area was so nice and quiet (and perfect for our pup)! There was street parking only but we found it super easy with plenty of available parking in the side streets - we had two cars and did not run into any issues. Roya was incredible responsive our entire stay and I definitely recommend her apartment to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay in SF!

Janette was a great host! This place was a great get away for the weekend. Host was responsive and the place felt private. We brought our dog and she loved it as well. Clean space with great amenities, would definitely stay here again.
