Fantastic venue. My partner and I booked this quiet getaway to celebrate new years. It had the peace and quiet we were after. The host was also very accommodating answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a great and reaponsive host. 5/5 stars.

We had a great experience staying at this cozy cabin. The gravel road leading up to it was a bit rough, but manageable. The peaceful isolation and forest surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was seeing alpacas in the morning, which was a fun and unique experience. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and while the cabin isn’t luxurious, it has all the essentials you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. We did notice the water in the spa was a little cloudy and came across a few spiders in the cabin, but nothing too unexpected for a place in the woods. A nice touch was the collection of board games, which we really enjoyed playing. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a great spot for those looking to unplug and unwind.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sea Salt BNB! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby beach and local attractions. We especially loved the charming decor and the little touches that made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing escape!

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed at Rozi’s place over the weekend, and it was truly one of the most beautiful stays in Melbourne. The place looked exactly like the photos and had a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Rozi was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. We would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely lovely Villa to stay in. Everything you could possibly need in one lovely space. Alison is very responsive with questions and communication. The villa is in a perfect location and is quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again. Thankyou for an effortless holiday!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Windmill Barn. From the outset Lauretta was an amazing host with great communication and attention to detail which is in full display within the property. Windmill barn is beautifully presented and exceedingly well equipped throughout. It is easy to lose time exploring the barn with so much history on display. The views out past the windmill are borderline ethereal once you've explored inside. If you find yourself looking to endulge another sense grabbing a coffee and heading out back brings auditory charm by way of birdsongs overwhelmingly dominated by Currawongs with the occasional interlude provide by a distant Whipbird. The sense of pure, immersive isolation in nature with the convenience of being 15 minutes away from modern commercial society and central to so many attractions in the area puts The Windmill Barn right at the top of our repeat visit list.

The place is absolutely fantastic, what you see in the photos is what you get. What really stood out was the proactive communication from Mitch including local recommendations. Heaps of board games / movie CDs to play and just have a good family time. Also a great place for star gazers on a clear night. Will definitely return back.

Trina was amazing to deal with, very flexible. Her home had everything and more than we could have asked for we felt right and home. If you book with a young family Trina has everything you could possibly ask for. The surrounds were amazing. Overall a great stay.

A quiet place, rustic, excellent location. It was exactly as described. Hosts communicated well and checked that everything was going well. Thanks for a great weekend.

A charming and rustic Victorian house, equipped with modern amenities. The renovated toilet with luxurious shower treats was a perk!

We’ve stayed on Phillip island a few times and always rated highly. This stay stood out because of the location with a short walk to beach and Cowes. It also had a secure backyard with a high fence and nice undercover space, which was great for sitting outside of for our dogs.

We had such an wonderful time at Kay's cottage. The cottage was beautiful, inside and out and our host made everything so easy - from an early check-in, easy to follow instructions and a great household manual. We arrived with three kids and three dogs in tow. The kids enjoyed playing the piano each day and then heading outside in the yard to play with the dogs. The yard is so pretty, completely secure and very private. We enjoyed eating our meals in the lovely outside dining area and spending our evenings in the cozy living room reading books. Minutes from the beach and shops - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are beyond grateful to Kay for her hospitality! xx Felicity & Shane

A charming, relaxing location close to shops, cafe and beach (walking distance). Space for two cars. Comfortably fit 5 adults and a child. Our host was accommodating and provided ample recommendations for local things to do. We hope to stay again in future.

Shelley's beach shack was an absolute delightful surprise! The decor, the cosiness, how close it is to the beach! We will definitely be back - thanks Shelley, we had the best weekend!

We had a great few days at Paul and Judith’s cottage. The house was great, super clean and had everything you needed. We didn’t bring our pup but it was fabulously dog-friendly. It was a short drive to town and the other attractions in the area. The outdoor deck area was absolutely lovely. We would definitely recommend and would come back again.

We had a great stay at Diane's place. Really good location. A full sized cot for the little one as well as a high chair and games for the kids. Diane was very responsive when we had a problem with the Netflix she came over straight away to fix it.

Thank you George and Serena for a lovely stay. Our family of three plus a puppy felt right at home. There was plenty of room for our puppy to run around and explore and we felt right at home. If I'm ever in town, I'll definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend it!!!

Amazing escape, so private and homely! The pictures don’t do this amazing space justice, an absolute DREAM of a place. WE WILL BE BACK!

Silver leaf cottage is nestled in beautiful gardens . Bernadette is very conscious of allowing her guests privacy . We only met her as she was watering the garden early one evening when we returned from a day out . She was friendly but not inquisitive. The setting is very peaceful . The only sounds you will hear are birdsong and chirping crickets . The French inspired decor is very easy on the eye and the towels and bedding are luxurious. The Queen sized bed is extremely comfortable and the shower of the very effective rain shower type . The location meant we could easily travel to see friends in Portsea and go to the beach in Sorrento and McCrae . We dined at Paul Louey’s Chinese restaurant in Rye where the food was delicious and very reasonably priced .

We had such a great time here, it was so relaxing, everything we needed was either there or close by. The pool was just perfect! The property and gardens are so nice to explore. The super friendly animals made it so homely and even more enjoyable. We are already planning our next stay! Kate was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.

The cottage was very relaxing, private and romantic. We loved the spa bath and the space as a whole. Was walking distance to the shops and restaurants which we enjoyed. Will definitely be back to check out their other cottages as well.

A perfect getaway from it all... We stayed 6 nights with 2 teenage girls, and 2 dogs. The garden is huge, the beds are comfy, the Bay Trail and beach are 15 mins away on foot, and the beach is dog friendly before 10am and after 6pm. The house has all the little things you need on holiday when you want to cook a little but relax a lot! We didn't want to leave :) A home from home.
