Incredible place, we loved every moment. We immediately felt right at home in the tiny house, and it had everything we needed for the 3-night stay. We didn’t end up cooking much but saw that they had all the basics covered (cutting boards, knives, pots and pans, olive oil, salt and pepper). We enjoyed stargazing, meeting the animals, and watching all of the birds visit the trees outside. Sign up for a horse ride if you can, neither of us had been on a horse since we were kids and had a great time and our guide, Sean, was patient and helpful. It’s a different way to experience some of the surrounding desert and one of the most memorable parts of our trip. We’d go back anytime!

We had a fantastic stay. The place was quiet, clean, easy to find. With the two of us it got a little warm at night but an open window fixed that easily. Well worth the stay and a short hop from JTNP

Rustic ranch w/ many animals for the kids to visit. 4 & 6 yr old kids roamed the Ranch w/ minimal supervision and came back nice and dirty w/ a lot of cat hair from interacting w/ the barn cats. Highlight of the trip was when Corbin a 10 yr old gave our kids a lesson on how to catch and hold baby goats. I highly recommend the Corbin Ranch tour w/ your kids. He will teach and play w/ your kids 😉. The kids are already talking about a 2nd family Ranch trip this year to play w/ Corbin and visit the 🐎🐖🐑🐏🐐🫏🦆🦚🐕🐈🐈‍⬛

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a relaxing time with a welcoming atmosphere, and the space was just perfect for our needs. The host was friendly and provided all the information we needed to make our visit comfortable. The location was great, offering easy access to local attractions while still being a peaceful retreat. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and restful getaway. Looking forward to returning in the future!

This home was perfect for my trip to Joshua tree! The property was beautiful and exactly how described. We specifically loved the theater screen in the living room and all of the outside amenities. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful place with lots of amenities and things to do. We stayed at the Playhouse and it was charming. Loved the water supply. Be prepared for the bees while eating by the benches but we are in the middle of the forest so expected. John was friendly and funny. Worth a visit and would come back here camping!

Great location. The host was very responsive throughout our entire stay. The place was very clean and spacious. Great parking and views. This place is even better in person and makes for a great getaway. I would stay here again!!

My little girl and I are big animal lovers. My daughter especially LOVES horses and dreams of having her own one day. I was looking for something special for her and I to do together when I found this listing. My daughter was beside her self when she saw we had a tiny horse there just for her to spend time with. She fell in love and called the horse her "tiny unicorn boy" Boyfriend (as he is properly named) was so silly, social and an incredibly kind little guy. We spent most of our time there loving on him and he was happy to have our attention. We felt we connected with him and were sad to say goodbye. It was so great to give my daughter such a special experience. We will definitely come back.

Stunning property with amazing views. Glenda and Verlen were lovely, warm, and highly proactive hosts in providing all the info we needed to ensure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable while also giving us privacy. Ultimate glamping experience. The detached bathroom was a touch of outdoorsy luxury. My family (three of us) slept so comfortably. We watched a movie on DVD from the large TV in the tent after a lovely dinner on the deck (used the grill) and chilling by the propane fueled fire pit. We will visit again for sure.

Jenn’s spot was truly special! Peaceful and well accommodated, did not miss the city for a night. Private and pretty secluded without feeling isolating and unsafe. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Will be booking again SOON

The area was nice and quiet and we enjoyed having a parking spot. The RV is small but comfy.

It was so amazing that I had already booked a trip back before I left. I specifically booked this trip for my leash reactive dog to have a nice getaway. It was so amazing for us both to relax in peace. She enjoyed the empty private trails and I enjoyed watching her love life outside. We both enjoyed the reading bed and can’t wait to go back. The onsite hosts were so amazing to us and provided an extra fan because it was unseasonably warm the day that we went. I hope to make this trip a few times a year because of the peace and calm it brought with it. Thank you for everything! The cookies upon arrival were delicious! This place is perfect for anyone wanting to escape it all.

It worked perfectly for our family needs. We arrived in Lucerne and needed to with full hookups during busy holiday weekend in Cougar Butte and Johnson Valley off-roading. Wanting to wait for holiday rush to calm and this was perfect. Safe for the wife and kid, plus dog friendly for our Australian Shepherd. Grant was proactive and let us know we could check in early due to spot being open as well as late check out when leaving. The bbq was clean, water pressure perfect, and 50 amp power for all our needs. We enjoyed some s’more’s out under the stars around the fire pit. We will definitely be saving this for next trip in our out of the desert boondocking.

John gave us a complete tour of the property when we had some questions. Everything was as described and in pictures but a bit more than we expected. There was a communal area for others who book in the area to chill, cook, and stargaze. It was super nice with each tent or camper having a unique personality and fun experience depending on what you’re looking for from a nice quiet stay in nature for a couple or for families. Our dog Ember, absolutely loved the area and had a blast chasing bunnies she saw and just running around full speed which she doesn’t often get to do in the Bay Area. Stargazing was perfect. The camper was indeed cozy & had a stove to cook whatever you needed with available cookware & utensils. A solid choice for a few days. The tents were also super nice & roomy. The bathroom area was great with showers & toilets that flush!John gave us recommendations in the area with a private area of the lake which was fun. Hosts were great & friendly! Would love to stay again!

My husband and I loved Kimber’s sanctuary. The airstream was super comfortable and well taken care of. She was not kidding when she said the bed was extremely comfortable and cozy. And the view from the bed was beautiful in the am. The jacuzzi and fire pit were perfect for a romantic nights. I can’t wait to go back. Blessings to you, your staff and all the cute animals.

Marco’s place is a hidden gem! The RV was clean, spacious for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed the surrounding outdoor spaces like the firepit, hammock and play area. We loved watching the farm animals and walking around the property. It is so serene and quiet but not too far from downtown Paso. Marco was even so nice to gift us some fresh eggs from the farm which we enjoyed for breakfast. At night our eyes feasted on the stars and overall just had an amazing experience. We will be back soon! Thank you so much for sharing your place with us

A really relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place to stay that has everything you need. We spent 2 nights there and didn’t leave once for anything. You’ll feel so recharged after a visit here. 10/10 recommend!

Dont hesitate to book this, it was everything we hoped for and more. You can feel the abundance of thought and attention put into this space, they created a sanctuary for guests to enjoy. Had everything we needed, and 15-20 min drive from great places to eat/hike. Lauri was so easy to communicate with & excellent recommendations. Stayed 3 nights and I wish we had stayed atleast a week. I know every guest that stayed here left more relaxed and at ease. Ps. I never knew how great & friendly Vista is until now.

It has been an absolutely incredible stay! We truly loved everything about it. The hosts were absolutely great and took very well care of us. It is the absolute perfect place for stargazing and birders! there is almost no light pollution and you can even see the Milky Way. We were so lucky and saw so many shooting stars. And in the morning you could just enjoy the amazing view to the lake and countryside and watch a multitude of different birds and listen to their happy chirping. The camper are also fully equipped and are very comfy. We will definitely come back and enjoyed our stay a lot!

The Lakota tent was everything we asked for. So romantic, charming, and intimate! The tent included two nice heaters, which were well received since we came in the middle of the winter. The bed was comfortable to boot and the overall experience was just great. Thank you, Patty! We will be coming back again, hopefully next time at the Hideaway!
