We've been visiting Joshua Tree for years, but it's really gotten busy there. The Adobe is the ideal desert getaway, just far enough out for total isolation, yet just a fifteen-minute drive to the National Park and the restaurants of downtown Twentynine Palms. The Adobe itself is a legit old-school adobe. The woodwork, the adobe walls, the furnishings -- all of it takes you back and holds you firmly in the early 20th century. It's hard to imagine such a place existing in 2024! Cary was super friendly and helpful, too. We can't wait to go back. Thanks Cary!

We had such a fun and unique experience. Perfect for our family! Lots to explore both inside, with the eclectic art, and outside across the sprawling and isolated grounds.

I really enjoyed my stay at Harpur's Haven. I had over a month's stay, and felt at home and comfortable. Both my hostesses are personable and generous, and I enjoyed their company when our paths crossed. The home is impressive and large enough that there is plenty of privacy. I will truly miss my 4 legged buddies Merlyn, Bentley and Mystery. They brought joy to my every day. This was the perfect place for me to stay while I did business in New River and Cave Creek. I am so glad I found it!

Wonderful casita! If you are looking for a peaceful stay in a natural setting you will love it here. Sandy and Peter were super welcoming and informative about places to see in the area, and hikes right out the door. Birds, the sound of coyotes, and beautiful sunsets make for very pleasant memories. The kitchen was one of the best stocked that I have encountered; everything we needed. We highly recommend.

This was the perfect place for our mini vacation in Tucson! The views were absolutely stunning! The location is close to many restaurants and shops while still being tucked away, surrounded by cactus. The host’s instructions were clear and communication was prompt. Very comfortable bed; the best sleep I’ve ever had in an Airbnb! Will be booking again in the future!

Three adults and a dog, slept in comfort in our private Adobe huts situated within an enclosed western Villa. As seasoned tent campers we appreciated the rustic outdoorseyness and didn't miss packing camping gear and spending time setting up and breaking down camp. We had time to relax, do Tucson and sit around an outdoor fire at days end. The dog loved it too! She was safe within the enclosed walls- went on a three mile walk through the neighborhood and surrounding agricultural fields. We'll be back for sure. This was a rare, fascinating, fun find indeed.

We had the best time…!!!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay, the views are amazing and totally took advantage of the sounds of the morning, a rooster, many types of birds, and a little breeze, to have our coffee on the deck… The dirt road is well maintained for a dirt road, I can see where people say it’s challenging, but we conquered it taking time and not being in a hurry, I drove so I did it slow to be able to look around too, very beautiful town… We are looking forward to staying here again…!!! Fantastic place to stay with a large group, and a great location! Cheap lyfts to the gas lamp and airport. Right by Balboa Park and walkable to several wonderful restaurants. The apartments were very clean and had all amenities we'd need. The hosts were very organized. Highly recommended!

The Historic Adobe House was cute and cozy. The desert wildlife is abundant and the view of the Superstitions was breathtaking. Pamela is a wonderful host who is very responsive. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Aloha!

Had a lovely stay in Yucca Valley at Keara's listing. Check in was seamless and looks just like the photos. Appreciated the homes design and attention to detail throughout the space. The Primary bedroom has a lovely view of the sunrise and there are many areas to enjoy and relax. Had nice peaceful moments in the hanging chair and hammocks. Keara communicated well and was friendly when we exchanged messages. Overall an ideal stay and would stay here again and recommend to others!

Samuel’s (Calle Primera) bnb was a relaxing, comfortable, and charming place that provided spacious and clean rooms and patio. Its location near the Mesilla Plaza, miscellaneous shops and a local park (with baseball and basketball courts) was perfect for us because it allowed us to enjoy local traditions such as Little League Baseball training/practice which we enjoyed watching. The players were young, incredibly hard working and so eager to learn! The sheep farm nearby added a most picturesque charm! charm. It was a definite immersion into a culture that we love.

We enjoyed our stay! Monk was a very attentive host and helped us out following a fairly significant travel delay. He checked in with us daily to be sure things were going well. The house was nice and comfortable, with a very well-equipped kitchen (actually well-equipped, with nice pans, etc., not the cheapest possible). We appreciated that ingredients for our first breakfast were provided. The outdoor spaces were restful and lovely. Monk and Simonne included an extensive book of local restaurant, store, and activity recommendations. We definitely recommend a visit to Frank’s for breakfast (the huevos rancheros were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten)!

This was one of the most romantic listings we have stayed at! Every detail in the casita is so well thought out and absolutely gorgeous. We felt like we were in our own little world. The spa was relaxing watching the sun go down and we listened to records and played games all night! The heated floors in the bathroom are an amazing touch! We can’t wait to go back and stay in one of there other listings on the property. Anna was very responsive and kind. She turned on the candles, heater, and heated floors for our arrival and it made it that much more beautiful when we walked in! If you’re thinking about staying here- DO IT!!! Thank you Anna! Xo

Wow! This place was fantastic. I spent a long weekend at this home with two friends for my birthday weekend and had a blast. The home is exactly like the photos, even better I would argue! The bathtub by the window is divine. All the beds and pillows were so comfortable. We had a spectacular time and can’t wait to come back again! The hosts were so kind and accommodating, they even sent me a personalized chocolate cake for my birthday celebration! Could not recommend more!!

Hope’s home was super clean and comfortable for four adults. The spa was a really nice place to relax and enjoy the backyard and sky in late November. The home is about 20 minutes from the nearest full scale grocery store, there is a CVS or Walgreens closer. It is about 3/4 of a mile drive on a dirt road after you turn off the paved road. This dirt road is not rough, it just adds time to your drive. If you want to tour some of the Scottsdale/Phoenix area sites you must do a lot of driving. The kitchen had enough dishes and pans, but we had to buy laundry soap, dishwasher detergent and tp. Not a big deal to stop at a store if you are going out, but if you plan to hang out at the house be prepared.

My whole family gathered for Thanksgiving here. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures! It was like an oasis and we found everything one needed to feel right at home. We highly recommend this stay.

Kelly was a very responsive and pro-active host. Property in a quiet, scenic area with solar-lit path up the hill to scenic seating areas (took appetizers and drinks up there for sunset), and short drive to several hikes that we wanted to do (Pinnacle Peak, Tom’s Thumb, Gateway Loop). Small kitchen was well -stocked, worked for simple meals and breakfast and lunch prep. Kelly provided an additional fridge (we stocked up on our way as we planned a week here), as well as a bottle of wine and small gifts bag! The small original fridge was stocked with water and other drinks. Enjoyed our stay! Thanks Kelly!

Beautiful home in Yucca Valley near Joshua Tree park entrance as well as easy access to Palm Springs communities. Grocery shopping and restaurants nearby as well as Pioneer Town. Great views from the property, which is located on a ridge. Spotless home with unusually well-equipped kitchen, outdoor grill and dining area, yoga mats, ping pong, board games and pool/spa towels. We did not use the pool facilities due to the colder weather and focus on hiking. Nicole was always very prompt with communication and instructions as well as local recommendations . Would love to stay there again on another visit to the area.

Norah's house is so adorable!! Southwest chic at it's best! I have 5 Airbnb's myself so it's always fun to try it out on the visitor end. This trip did not disappoint!! We had a long weekend working at a festival so coming home to this beautiful space made the weekend much less exhausting. I highly recommend the main house and any of the casitas. Another great stay. The neighborhood keeps getting more interesting places that are easy to walk to (restaurants, bakery, butcher). Nice new sunshade in the back yard/porch area made it an even more pleasant hang. The hosts really did it right.

Our stay at Gloria's was one of the best ever! It is a quiet, desert setting with beautiful views and wildlife at your doorstep. Her place is well stocked with amenities galore.
