We loved staying on this 100 acre farm. My family and our two dogs enjoyed a peaceful trip! Would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! John and Jenny are the best hosts-they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. By far one of our favorite Airbnbs ever. The farm is beautiful and peaceful, and the animals were fun and friendly. Our city boys loved feeding them treats and watching their antics. The house was easy to find and had everything we needed. We loved learning about the history of the house and seeing all the vintage pieces they have preserved. We only wish we had been able to stay longer, and hope to return in the future!

First, I need to clarify that we were unable to make it for our reservation due to a family emergency. I am giving the positive review because of how kind, compassionate, and understanding Nahida was in our communications. While we did not get to stay this time, we are bookmarking this AirBnB to try a visit again in the future as we are greatly interested in this one, and the hospitality they've provided in communication has far surpassed what I ever hoped for in our current situation. I would recommend this AirBnB, and I'm sure you would find the time with them well spent.

Wonderful place to stay while in the area. Everything was just as listed and the views were breathtaking. Definitely worth the price and will most definitely be returning here soon.

if in the area I would highly recommend staying in this cabin in the woods if you're looking for peace and quiet off the beaten path. we got in late and had no issues getting in we had to get up early in the morning so we weren't able to enjoy the surrounding scenery but the place is in the country quiet peaceful and had beautiful surroundings just didn't have time the next morning to take it all in.

A fantastic and remote place to recharge! From the moment that Marguerite introduced me to her cabin I felt right at home. The front porch view of the pond was just what I needed to relax after a 4 day conference in Houston. When I return to Texas another stay at the Fossil Tree will be on my today list.

This was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting some friends there! The views are amazing and the little home was so cute and adorable! Although we had everything we needed, I know the host would have been super responsive if we did need something.

We were looking for a place in the hill country, not too far from Austin. The cabin was perfect on a special piece of property. It was located several miles outside of Burnet and close enough to get groceries. Night time allowed for star gazing. We went on outings to play golf in San Saba and Lampasas. On our last evening, Garten took us on a ride to a ridge on the high point of the property which allowed views of Lake Buchanan and the dam. We will definitely go back.

Celeste’s property is AMAZING and by far the best AirBnB we have ever stayed at. Very clean and beautiful property, my family and I were mesmerized by how clean the ranch was, if we could back and make a choice on a property again, we would for sure pick Celeste’s Ranch without a doubt. 100% recommend for you to stay at Celeste’s Ranch, you will not regret it. Just book already stop searching! Cannot wait to be back.

Could not recommend this place more, and definitely plan to come back and visit ❤️ Susie and Doug are just the sweetest people, very accommodating and made us feel right at home. My best friend and her hubby are moving to Texas and I’m helping them move and staying here was such a blessing in so many ways. The ranch is absolutely beautiful and the bunkhouse is decorated so cute, it makes you feel right at home. 😊 Susie even brought us fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. Definitely loved staying here, if you’re looking for a warm hug from Texas, Susie and Doug will take good care of you. ❤️ Ps. If you are an animal lover, we fell in love with their ranch dog Bella she greeted us every morning which was too sweet! 🥹

This AirBNB is a PERFECT mix of country on the inside and outside! The back patio was a perfect place to sit, relax, enjoy sunsets and sunrises! We got the pleasure of a symphony of frogs after the heavy spring rain this past week- wow that was incredible! I’ve stayed in many ‘country’ rentals and it’s hard to keep the outside from getting inside (bugs, dirt, etc.) BUT this place did not have any of those problems! A couple reviews noted the stairs as a problem but we did not agree with that- you do have to climb stairs to get to the main area but the patio is completely enclosed and safe for pets and littles!

The cowabunga cottage was amazing! it met all of our expectations and Philip and his brother were very sweet and responsive. The cottage definitely helped us slow down and relax! the cattle were the best part,they were so sweet and my son loved feeding them! The porch swing was personally my favorite spot to hang out. Thank you Philip!

We had a great time staying at Jason's cabin! Everything was as described in the listing. A short drive provided us entertainment and great food as well! The animals were definitely the best part of staying. Especially Shadow! She was so sweet. Would definitely recommend. Private and super clean! Would love to visit again in the future.

This two homes are perfect for a family vacation or a retreat. Pool is not fenced in so children will have to be supervised by adult while outside at all times. I and my mom stayed there and it felt like we were in the woods but we were only a few minutes from shopping and church. Very peaceful which I loved. Animals just a few steps away and they were very friendly. The hosts are super stars that are very responsive and respectful. If you are looking for a picture perfect stay this is it.

Very relaxing place to spend a couple of nights. I loved the rustic look of the cabin. It was perfect for 2 people with plenty of room for our two pups .

As someone who stays in Airbnbs full time for work, this is absolutely one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed. Inside and out just a masterful design and very well thought out. You can feel the love and effort that went into this property. 10/10 overall satisfaction with my stay.

This easy to find delightful, homy and comfortable place us just a short hop from Houston, but it is a long way from the hustle and bustle of the real world. You can sit on the front porch and gaze at countryside or you can sit on the back porch and gaze at countryside with cattle. No one else is around and it is a delight to go walking in the pastures. We walked a mile and a half and didn’t encounter another person. It was an absolute delight. Rolling hills and lots od trees and hedges. Stars at night were beautiful. The interior is well-maintained and decorated nicely in antique style. You feel comfortable from the moment you walk in and everything you might even imagine you could want is there for you. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants quiet and solitude. Yet only 15 minutes to a wonderful grocery store. My two dogs absolutely loved it as well.

Fun and unique place to stay. Kitchen was well stocked, and bathroom was nice. Hosts were great and enjoyed the animals!

My stay was so peaceful, and the surroundings were beautiful! I was given very helpful and detailed instructions prior to check-in. The clawfoot tub was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable! Highly recommend!

Our family had a great stay. The description was accurate, and were able to roam much of the land. Our boys enjoyed the animals during the day, and the stargazing at night.

The G Ranch was a beautiful place to stay at. A beautiful, private, and peaceful location. Has great food around the area and cattle that you can feed. Would recommend for everyone!!
