Yukiko is such a wonderful host. My partner and I have had a great time in her beautiful townhome. It was peaceful and had everything that we needed. I highly recommend that someone who doesn’t want a typical hostel/hotel experience to come here!!!

Shi and Xiao did a great job making us feel welcome. They were able to help with the Yamato transport. The house was clean and beautiful, perfect for small family up to 4/5 folks. There is one bathtub and one shower that can be used at the same time. 7/11 is less than 50ft away, Bus stop is also same which takes to Tokyo Station, Gion. Yasaka Shrine. Overall the stay was perfect.

Natsuko was a wonderful host! She was very accommodating, personable, and quick to respond to any questions we had. My friend Julia and I both enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this place to others visiting Osaka!

An absolute gem in an interesting, quieter and accessible part of Kyoto. Noboyuki’s house is gorgeous and spotless, we greatly enjoyed using the bicycles and Noboyuki was a fabulous host, patiently answering our many questions. The bath is a special delight if you decide not to go to the nearby sento.

Katsura club is an experience of Kyoto and Japan on its own. Our host Koichi is very warm, welcoming, and kind, he speaks little English but that didn’t hinder his communication skills. He gave us a tour of the house and taught us the history behind Katsura Club and it’s very educational. He’s very thorough and detailed with teaching us how to use the amenities around the house. A little story: It’s our first time in Kyoto Station and we got lost trying to find the lockers we put our luggages in and so we left it there prior to checking in. Koichi noticed that we didn’t have anything with us and asked where our stuff was, and after telling him what had happened, he offered to drop us off at the station. This just shows how attentive, hospitable and accommodating of a host he is. He even wanted to wait until we got our stuff and drop us back at Katsura club but we politely declined. As much as I’d love to keep this gem all to myself, it truly deserves to be experienced by others.

Akane's place was perfect for our group of 6. The apartment is flexible for different combinations of people in the 3 bedrooms. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Akane always responded right away whenever we needed instructions on anything in the apartment. Her English is very good and she is very friendly. We had a great time!

We were in kyoto for few days and Ume was an excellent and very friendly host. We really enjoyed the traditional japanese setting home. if we had more PTOs, we would love to come back and spend longer time there!

A truly beautiful home and such an amazing place to get to stay to explore Kanazawa from. The hosts are lovely and gave us great recommendations.

I stayed at this place with a friend for two nights and was really impressed. The Machiya is well kept and in a good location. If I return to Kanazawa, I would be happy to stay here again.

挺温馨的，适合一家人或朋友一起住，两个房间，楼上和楼下都有卫生间和洗澡的，房东服务也很好，沟通很顺利！

房東夫婦非常友善nice 可以感受到對於房子的維護與用心 到處都有小細節 這次是六人包棟 總共有三間房 其中兩件是日式榻榻米要自己鋪床 我們睡的非常舒服～環境也很安靜 附近就有很多餐廳例如：sushiro 客美多咖啡等等 因為我們是自駕～所以蠻方便的 價格平均下來一人一晚才七百多真的很划算

The house is very beautiful and quaint. Located 1 train stop away from Kyoto Station, it was fairly easy to get to. You can also take the nearby train straight to Osaka, which was a nice surprise. The interior was beautifully crafted and well-maintained, with just what you need for your stay. Our host was very responsive and kind, and helped us out with any issues that arrived. They responded quickly and were kind. I would reccommend this for anyone who wants to stay in a traditional-style house with some of the trappings of modern life.

The unit is suitable for group of 4 - 6 person to stay, is convenient have few places public Transportation we can ride train and bus. The place is close to convenient shop, it is very easy to buy any things need.

Une adresse à retenir sur Kyoto🤩. Une maison qui a su garder tout le charme de l’ancien, mais avec tous les équipements modernes utiles. Un super lave-linge qui sèche en même temps. À moins de 10 minutes de la station de métro la plus proche et de la gare JR Nijo. Merci Éric pour toutes vos instructions très claires, et pour la réactivité de vos réponses.

I highly recommend Leo’s home. It’s located in an awesome neighborhood very close to Umeda. Despite its proximity to Osaka station the neighborhood is quiet and had a ton of cute shops and restaurants. The home was clean, spacious and perfect for our family of four. I highly recommend Leo’s home.

Fantastic location. Great base to explore Osaka. Room was exactly as advertised and clean. You can hear the cars driving on the street though - just bring some earplugs. Otherwise no complaints!

We loved our stay in Osaka! The home was located in a busy area but it was tucked away and quiet. Our group of ten had lots of room and everything we needed. It was a very comfortable stay and we would recommend it.

Our family of 6 had a great stay! We love that a high chair was available along with a few toys for our toddler. The location was very convenient, plenty of restaurants, markets, and convenience stores within a 5 minute walk. The ordinary beds were comfortable, but if you plan on sleeping in the tatami mat room, make sure you are used to sleeping on a very firm futon. The stairs were also more steep than the stairs we were used to, but it wasn't an issue even for the seniors in our group. Overall, the place was extremely clean and the host was very friendly and responsive. Glad we got to stay here!

Beautiful house on quiet street that is accessed by walking a short distance on a narrow street. The house was thoughtfully decorated and had a wonderful atmosphere. You walk 5-10 minutes and you’re in the busy district of narrow streets and temples. When you get home to the house it is very quiet and tranquil. It was a nice place to call home and rest before venturing back out into the busy streets of Kyoto. It was roughly $10 USD to get from Kyoto train station to the house via cab. The cab driver can’t take you all of the way to the house, so you have to walk 2 mins with your bags to the door. The house is backed up against a freeway overpass. While not ideal aesthetically it didn’t bother us in any way. The house feels very private and quiet. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Enabled us to have an amazing holiday, with a clear focus on our experience and journey. We found ourselves wanting to go back and relax at the house every day envious that we couldn’t stay more.
