We had a fantastic stay at June’s apartment in Tokyo! The place was exactly as shown in the pictures—very clean, modern, and well-maintained. It’s in a super convenient location, just a short walk from the train station and right next to a convenience store, which made everything so easy. The apartment was perfect for our family of five, including three big kids (ages 12–16). It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. June went above and beyond—she even came in person to welcome us, explain everything clearly, and made sure we were well taken care of. We really appreciated the thoughtful free gifts too! Although coin parking nearby is a bit pricey, that’s quite normal in Tokyo, and the convenience of the location more than made up for it. We highly recommend June’s place and would definitely stay here again!

Great location—just a short walk from the station, which makes getting around super easy. The apartment is compact (as expected in Japan), but very well-equipped. The washer and dryer were a total lifesaver during the trip—definitely a huge plus! I don’t think there was a stove, but I wasn’t planning to cook anyway, so it wasn’t an issue for me. Just a heads-up: bring your own bottled water if you’re not used to drinking tap water. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay in Tokyo!

Location is great but comes with a price if you are bothered by late night trains bring earbuds. It did not bother us and the host was very hospitable and friendly. Good sized accomodation for the area. Would happily stay again!

Perfect place quiet and close to trains to get to activities. Bakery next door is a must visit any time of day. Enjoy

Moka is very responsive and provided clear instructions for access. Location is right next to a Family Mart. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby. Train station is less than a 10 minute walk. It was peaceful during our stay and there was a right amount of space for the 3 of us. Highly recommended.

We are a Canadian family of 4 and this was the first place we stayed during our Japan visit. 🇨🇦 My husband is 6’4 so had to duck for everything but we heard Japan accommodations are smaller. The place was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and it had everything in it to live life “normally “. 7-11 was 3 minutes away. Very convenient. The train terminal was 12 minutes away. My only negative was that the power would short out often if the 3 aircons were on and you used anything else. Had to learn what to have on when using other appliances. All in all a good experience! Thank you 🙏🏼

Masami’s apartment was perfect for our family of four (two parents, two teens). We prefer to avoid cookie cutter hotels and instead seek to experience places that are a little closer to how the locals live. The cozy apartment fit the bill! It’s efficiently designed, with clever features such as a shower that also functions as a clothes dryer (no tumbling, so easier on your textiles, and it works incredibly well!). We appreciated how clean everything was, and how well everything functioned. The location was great, too — a stone’s throw from the metro, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, but still nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Finally, the price was right — much better than piecing together two hotel rooms! We will recommend this place to any friends visiting Tokyo!

What a wonderful find to stay at for three days in Tokyo! Mizuki’s house has everything that you could possibly need as a home away from home. Great location - close to the Marinouchi line and plenty of great places to eat within a short walk. We loved it!

Thank you Kevin for hosting my family. Apart from difficulty in finding the house, we loved your home and immediately felt very comfortable. I had a little trouble understanding the washing machine instructions, but Kevin was very responsive, and we worked it out in no time. Kevin went above and beyond usual host activities and even booked a local restaurant for us in his name to ensure our booking. His recommendation was spot on. I have no hesitation in recommending this cozy home, in central Shinjuku City.

Absolutely amazing stay! The house is beautiful, spacious, and filled with stunning Japanese art and family paintings — the photos don’t do it justice. The location is perfect: a lovely 8-min stroll down a charming street with fantastic restaurants and shops (best yakitori and sushi I’ve ever had!). It’s quiet yet super convenient, with a direct train to Tokyo Station in about 10 minutes. After a busy day in Tokyo, it was so nice to return to this peaceful neighborhood, grab great food nearby, or shop at the excellent grocery store just minutes away. The host, Keiko-san, truly makes this place unforgettable — an extraordinary, kind woman. When my son got the flu, she gave him medicine, checked in on us, and even offered us to stay for free for as long as we wanted on our departure day so he could rest before the flight. She also offered to treat us to tea, which was so thoughtful. Her kindness meant the world. I can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

Wir haben uns direkt in der Unterkunft wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und die Dachterrasse ist wirklich toll! Direkt um die Ecke ist eine Bahnstation, Getränkeautomaten und Lebensmittelgeschäfte. Diese Unterkunft hat einfach alles was man braucht! Sie ist definitiv einen Aufenthalt wert!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bamboo House! It was spacious, impeccably clean, and a cozy place to call home during our trip. The surrounding area is charming, adding to the overall experience. Our hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond—picking us up from the station, being highly responsive, and generously providing drinks, snacks, rides, luggage storage, and fantastic recommendations. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. We highly recommend Bamboo House and would love to stay again!

숙소 이용방식이 편하고 너무 깨끗했습니다. 다만 3층 룸은 담배냄새인지 모를 냄새가 조금 났습니다. 2층은 바닥이 따뜻하여 좋았습니다. 위치는 조금 멀지만 여러명이 여유롭고 넓은 공간을 사용하기엔 매우 좋습니다.

Great place to stay. Super convenient right next to the subway and train station. The place was very roomy and comfortable.

很幸運在出發前一個禮拜訂到這麼棒的房間，空間很大三個人三個大行李箱可以打開，步行3分鐘有便利商店，約5-10分鐘有超市，10-15分鐘可以到池袋車站，如同其他評價偶爾會聽到救護車聲但不影響睡眠，房間整潔如新，房東也很好願意讓我們提早放行李，推薦👍

Loved Jun’s place! Very clean and spacious. Only two stops from shinjuku station. The neighborhood is VERY quiet and tucked away so it’s nice to come home to after a busy day in Tokyo. Bed was comfy and loved the heated toilet 🤩

Great homey feeling apartment. A bit small compared to US apartments, but felt cozy and comfortable once we adjusted.

Paul house met our expectations in every way. it was as close as you can get to a train station without being disturbed by it. right next to the bustling Ueno station and surrounding shops, there is enough to do nearby to fill a full day. Ueno is also connected to multiple rail lines making transportation super convenient. The place was clean, quiet, and well stocked with everything our family of four adults and two kids needed. The tatami flooring was a nice touch. If you forced me to nit pick the place, I'd say: 1) the layout may not be for everyone. From the farthest bedroom, you need to pass through the other bed room to get to the kitchen / bathroom. Fine for our family though. Also, the sound isolation between the bedrooms was poor, again, not a problem for us. Our host was very proactive and nice. Met us at the door when we arrived and helped us get settled.

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond. Great location! 5 minute walk to the train station and local bars/restaurants. Accommodations are great. Comfortable bed, and bedrooms. Set up well for families with plenty of space for meals and work. Quiet neighbors in a nice neighborhood! Location is the primary reason I stay here. However, no sacrifice is needed on unit quality! Is my best Airbnb experience!
