This is a very cute place. We liked that it was two blocks from little restaurants, stores, and a bookstore (that was less crowded than the downtown strip!). Lots of great teas and coffee and comfy beds!

**An Amazing Stay!** We had an incredible five-night stay at this wonderful Airbnb after our wedding, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The comfortable furniture and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. We slept like babies in the super comfy bed! The neighborhood was fantastic, and we enjoyed surfing every day and indulging in delicious meals. You have to check out Malibu Brew Co and get a burger and a couple of beers. The hosts were exceptional—they clearly know how to run an Airbnb and made our experience unforgettable. This is definitely one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. I very highly recommend.

Our stay here was quick, but just what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet. Our family of six stayed, and one reason we chose it was because each of our four kids would have their own bed. No pillow barriers needed haha. Speaking of beds, these were the *most* comfortable ones we’ve used at an AirBnB. The space was comfy, inviting, and super cool. We loved looking at all the music industry memorabilia, too; what a neat legacy for Michele to share with her AirBnB guests! One thing to note: the place is a converted garage so it is cooled and heated with a mini-split. It wasn’t turned on when we got there, and we wish it had been because it was a pretty cold, drizzly night (December) and took a long time to heat up. So if you stay here, maybe request that it be turned on in advance of your arrival. I’m sure the property management wouldn’t mind at all because they were nothing but accommodating and welcoming. Our big family felt lucky to find this place to stay while in the area.

Really great place for relaxation and stylishly decorated to make you feel at home . Gave clear instructions before arriving and they gave great specifics on restaurants nearby! Really good communication and overall would repeat staying here in the future!

We had a wonderful time and loved the house! It was extremely clean and well-outfitted. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely home in a beautiful location!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Carla is the embodiment of a “super host.” Great communication, very accommodating, and very responsive. We decided to stay an extra week and Carla helped us make the correct arrangements and a smooth transition. Carla’s Cottages is a special place. Highly recommended!

Remarkable. We had a great time that we will not soon forget. The area ia quiet and being close to the farm and animals was right up our alley. My son loved feeding the goats. We played the miniputt everyday. We enjoyed the spa at night before bed. Great little place with charming amenities. The town is lots of fun and beautiful. Good memories! Thank you.

We had a great time at the Montecito Orchard Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed, including a full kitchen to cook during our stay. The private front yard was a nice touch, and we enjoyed the Jacuzzi every evening. Ivan and April were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond, offering great restaurant suggestions and checking in a couple of times to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We’d definitely recommend the cottage and look forward to coming back!

George’s place was the perfect beach getaway! The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location can't be beat - just a short walk to the beach made it so convenient to enjoy the sand and surf. The host was welcoming and check-in was a breeze. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for an amazing beach vacation. Five stars all the way!

This was an incredible Airbnb! It’s secluded and has an amazing view of the sea right from the bed. If you want to explore the beach, you can just head to the entrance just a few houses over. We even saw dolphins during our walks on the beach!Darryl was also a wonderful and gracious host. He had thoughtfully left out some snacks for us for our arrival, and checked in with us throughout the trip. The fridge was also stocked with condiments so we didn’t need to buy any of those ourselves.

I had the most delightful stay at this charming Airbnb in Summerland—Gillian's Room! From the moment we arrived, I was struck by how quaint and cozy the space felt—perfectly designed with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The cleanliness was impeccable; every corner sparkled, and it was clear that the host took great pride in maintaining an inviting environment. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was wonderfully responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. I can't recommend this gem enough—five stars all the way!

This was an amazing stay for my wife and I's honeymoon. Not only is it a 10 minute walk to the beach, but has quick and easy access to Santa Barbara and Ventura. Reina was kind, helpful, and was always available if we had any questions!

This place was very cute and met our needs for our time in the area. We had an unexpected departure and the host was gracious and flexible. We appreciated that this location was so close to the beach and also some really cute places to eat. The unit is nestled into the trees and is very quiet. The unit was also clean upon arrival and we didn't have any issues during our time there. We would love to return another day!

Perfect stay in Geraldine's cottage nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. It was adorable! The house was clean, safe, comfortable and relaxing. Super close to Malibu and the freeway. Nice walk to the Old Place in the morning to grab a cup of coffee where I go to see some Peacocks. I will be back.

This was a nice little place to stay. It’s kinda secluded but very peaceful. I would recommend it to other people looking for quietness.

Cutest Airbnb! Ari was very accommodating and helpful, which was such a relief when traveling with a nearly two year old. The cottage came equipped with a comfy pack and play that was easy to set up. We had our toddler sleep in the back room which was perfect for her naps (cozy and not too bright when the curtains were closed). We were within walking distance to a cute coffee shop, good restaurants, a park, and the beach. The backyard was fantastic and our daughter loved hearing the frogs outside. Such a great stay!

Excellent stay. My wife and I stayed there for 8 nights in late February and our experience was in line with the Airbnb add and reviews. Clean house, spacious, comfortable and practical for two people. The kitchen is well equipped and we prepared most our meals there. Easy drive to town (6-8 minutes). The house is surrounded by cute little citrus ranches and beautiful houses. Tyler is a generous host and the house was stocked with amenities and goodies upon our arrival. Also of note, we had to do a number of zoom calls from the house and Tyler’s WiFi handled it without a problem. All in all a flawless stay, I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else upon my next visit to Ojai. Thank You Tyler for hosting us !

This place was great, very cute inside and the backyard was lovely. The area felt a little shady at night as a solo female traveller, but it wasn't to the point I felt wildly unsafe. The neighbors were also pretty loud banding around in the other unit, but other than that it was a great stay. It was awesome having the bike provided and having so much space!

The guesthouse was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was quick to respond and provided great recommendations. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with everything you need right at your fingertips, I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Leah's place is beautifully situated near the beach, downtown and the Amtrak station. We arrived by train and did not have a car. The beach and restaurants in town all walkable! The cottage is comfortable and quiet. Leah is a very friendly and responsive host. We will certainly stay here when we come back to Carpenteria!

Incredible stay. Even better than pictures! Great location- walkable to downtown dinner, less than 5 min drive to beach, views all around ! Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again.

Our stay with Elizabeth at the Swell was fantastic! She was responsive to all questions asked, as well as being very accommodating. The home was quiet and comfortable. We had a perfect weekend in Ventura thanks to our wonderful accommodations!
