Excellent stay and so close to everything. Easy check in and clear communication made everything seamless. Would recommend staying again. Only thing we did not use was the hot tub as we were unsure when it was cleaned or maintained last. All else was perfect!

Our stay at Coastal Acres Escape was nothing short of magical! This beautiful, peaceful, and homely retreat was the perfect place for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed—with a thoughtful treat of wine and muffins waiting for us. The breathtaking views were unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and every little detail in the house had been carefully considered. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for cooking, and the bathroom had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The luxurious bathtubs and bath salts made it impossible not to unwind completely. The location was stunning, the home was exquisite, and Sarah was an absolute pleasure—so friendly and easy to reach. We couldn’t recommend Coastal Acres Escape highly enough and will definitely be back to relax and recharge again!

A great place if you are looking for beautiful vistas, a peaceful and restful break. The house was immaculate and very nicely presented. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.

Michele is probably the sweetest person we’ve ever met. She made me and my wife feel welcome and at home. Sincerely a fantastic host. You’ll be doing a disservice to yourself if you don’t have the pleasure of stay in her cottage. Her garden is magnificent and smells of florals a citrus, her grass is lush and full, and her cottage itself is cozy and neat as a pin.

We loved Rachel’s place! Beautiful views and very comfortable accommodations. We found the house well-stocked with the extra things we needed and above and beyond with breakfast items. Rachel and her family were very friendly and made us feel at home and they gave great local tips! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Perfect spot for a relaxing wekend with friends. We loved how close it was to the beach and the bikes made it so easy to get around Omaha. Kate was super helpful and accommodating.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Within 10 minutes of arriving we were sitting on the front patio enjoying the beautiful view. We had a great stay !

We had a wonderful 10 days in this cosy cottage in The Mount. Entry and exit were extremely easy and Antony was very helpful letting us enter a few hours earlier than the stated time. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, we were able to cook several meals including a BBQ. The location was amazing, it took 5 minutes to walk to the nearest beach and then 20 minutes along the boardwalk to get down to the main beach at the base of the Mount. The beaches are lovely, so clean with easy swimming conditions and plenty of surfing if wanted. There are lots of good restaurant choices all within easy walking distance. We ventured out and did some waterfall hikes and a visit to Rotorua to the thermal pools. Antony was super easy to communicate with and helped make our vacation very relaxing and enjoyable.

No frills cottage in a fabulous location across the road from the river (great for refreshing swims) and a few minutes' walk to Lake Taupo. Thoughtfully stocked with books and games and full kitchen. Zara was very welcoming. A tiny bit of noise from trucks on the highway.

Great location, very quiet, peaceful, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio and watching the sun set and birds and even a couple bunnies. House was very quiet and a great size for our family of three.

Quelle belle surprise ce bungalow avec un environnement vallonné et le lac visible depuis la terrasse et le salon. En plus nous avions des Alpagas et Émeus pour nous tenir compagnie ce qui donnait encore plus de quiétude au lieu. Depuis notre hébergement, nous avons pu aller visiter les lieux géothermiques, Rotorua et sa forêt de sequoia, Napier et le golf de Cap Kidnapper et enfin l’ascension du volcan Tongariro sans oublier l’apero sunset sur le lac Taupo. Tout était parfait 👍

A Peaceful and Authentic Farm Stay Experience with two great hosts either stunning night skies. Our stay at Sunday Country Cabin was truly magical! The peaceful countryside setting provided the perfect escape from city life. The cozy accommodations and warm hospitality from Gary & Michael made us feel right at home. Apart from the stunning views and absolute calmness, this place also provides a great flexibility to visit Rotorua and Tauranga both in a single day, which is of course a cherry on top. Nights were especially breathtaking—calm, quiet, and perfect for stargazing. With no city lights around, the sky lit up beautifully, making for an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a serene retreat with stunning night views, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Nadia’s place was charming and was located in a convenient area in a quiet neighborhood. There was easy access to Rotorua attractions. Nadia was great with communication and posted information about Rotorua on her site. Would def stay there again!!

The cottage was pristine with beautiful linen and the flowers on the table were a nice touch. Our only surprise was the lack of a microwave. Note to self - next time read the amenities more carefully. The grounds were magnificent. A beautiful quiet retreat. I would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you Simon.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. The cottage is exactly as described. Compact, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all we needed. It's a very quiet and peaceful place. A bit of a drive to the beach and more to shops so a car is pretty much required. Steve's recommendation of trails (sorry, tracks) was spot on. The Te Henga trail is spectacular, even though it is shortened due to a two year old slip. We would definitely return.

This place is very well equipped for a comfortable stay with a well stocked kitchen. The bed and linens are very nice. This peaceful stay is a nice stop with convenient access to the airport. If looking for treks, many options near by.

We are a family with two young kids and we absolutely loved staying at Connie's and Harald's place. The cottage is peaceful, surrounded by nature with so many amenities (there are some many toys and games, kids were constantly entertained, even outdoor). We felt truly at home! The best part, however, were Connie and Harald themselves: kind, thorough, proactive, thoughtful... simply the best hosts ever!

Jillene is an amazing host! She was friendly and went above and beyond for us! After the ordeal we had prior to arrival, it was comforting to come to a place that had so much warmth! My aunt enjoyed the fresh eggs and honey. But it was Jillene's handwritten note to welcome us that was extra special. She takes care of her guests as if they were her family. We were out at Hell's Gate (close by) doing our mud spa when it rained. We had hung our clothes out to dry before we left. We would have came home with some soggy clothes. But, Jillene had already brought them into our porch so they would not get wet! Thank you Jillene! Her place has plenty of things to be comfortable. She has a fireplace and a portable heater if you don't know how to use the woodburning one. You can use the Nespresso and also the milk frother...those were fun to use. The place is huge. You can watch the stars and sit out on your porch. Close to town and Rotorua airport.
