The place was beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and spoke English. Let us drop our luggage off early. A bit of a far walk from the train station and down a lot of steps but the staff said the bus would have made a much easier journey - instructions state this, we missed this so read thoroughly! We ate dinner and breakfast here and both were great. They also have a bar on site. The place is a hotel/hostel so there will be other guests to mingle with if you eat in the common area which we enjoyed. There is also a small outdoor area. Would recommend!

Was a wonderful 1 night stay! Place was comfy and cozy. Although walking from the main attraction area in Hakone could be awhile, but it was worth it as the view was beautiful 👍👍

Un joli petit logement très cosy et agréable, bien équipé. Très bonne communication avec l'hôte qui donne les bons conseils et de bonnes recommandations. Comme dit dans plusieurs commentaires, il n'y a pas ou peu de commerces à proximité mais il suffit de s'organiser un tout petit peu pour faire ses courses à Hakone-Yumuto, donc ça ne pose pas vraiment de problème.

The spacious property has an authentic local feel. The neighborhood is peaceful, near Honcho street and you can get to the Gekkoji station in just 10 minutes walking. The host is really helpful regardless of language barrier. It is a good deal comparing to the price you pay.

I took the Fuji Express Bus from Tokyo to Mount Fuji, this house is near by the Bus station. Also, the house is clean

Vielen Dank, dass wir in dieser schönen Wohnung einige Tage verbringen konnten. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem und der Blick zum Mount Fuji ist einfach unbeschreiblich.

This Airbnb rests atop a peaceful hill that was a short and healthy exercise upward. The station was very close by and goes both east and west toward Hakone and Odawara within only 10 minutes. The Airbnb had all the amenities and more; we felt at home immediately checking in! Host was helpful, proactive, and welcoming with their messages and communications!

Espectacular! La ubicación es a 5 minutos de la estación de metro, el alojamiento es completo, espacioso, ordenado y súper limpio, en el 4 piso de un edificio con entrada independiente. Tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia acogedora y agradable, nos sentimos como en casa. La dueña del alojamiento fue muy amable en las recomendaciones del lugar y nos hizo sentir bienvenidos. La descripción del alojamiento es tal cual y la relación calidad precio es excelente. Y desde la entrada del alojamiento puedes ver el monte Fuji San. Muy recomendable

We are a group of 7, our first time stay in this place. The room and beds are well prepared for 7 people. The whole place was clean. Walkable for few minutes from Kawaguchiko STA and the place is near to the famous Tempura restaurant. We drove from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko and perfect parking spot right in front of the house. Everyone was happy with the place and had a great time at BearHouse. Thank you, definitely recommended.

The apartment is very near Kawaguchiko station (less than 5 mins walk) and is within walking distance to the lake. Room is spacious. There are 2 big beds that can fit 4 people nicely. If there are more than 4, the rest can set up traditional japanese mattress in the adjacent room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!

Great for our needs. Close to outlets, and plenty of room. It was sadly bad weather while we visited, so no Fuji view. Enjoyed the traditional style. Heater was great - comments about cold likely from those who didn't use the sliding doors to help trap the heat. Overall a good stay!

The hotel is a nice one. Very easy to find, just 1 minute from the station. But it’s on the second floor and there’re only stairs, so we need to carry the suitcase. It was a good place for one-night stay. Recommend! The only thing is the room was a bit cold where we were there since the area was snowy.

We stayed at ShareHouseF while we're at Kofu — the location is quite convenient to Kofu station and various restaurants (we even went to the public library). While we rented a car for a few days, without it, we got around fine with their public transports and by foot. Their dormitory is very spacious and clean. We used their very large shared kitchen that has all the necessary utensils and cutlery. Most of all, ShareHouseF's staff, Miwa, was incredibly responsive to our needs. She's very kind and welcoming. The rest of the dormitory tenants were also very hospitable and kind. We highly recommend ShareHouseF for anybody visiting Kofu!
