There are some places that remind you why you love Airbnb — and Hiroki’s home in Chigasaki is one of them. A true gem: bright, beautifully designed, nestled beside a peaceful Japanese garden. Just steps away is a charming little café run by a kind and talented host, serving delicious meals. And the five bicycles provided? They allowed us to explore the town at our own pace, all the way to the nearby beach. Chigasaki is perfect for a few days of slow life, far from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. A place we leave reluctantly, but that makes us want to come back.

Staying at this Airbnb was a wonderful experience. It was easily walkable from the closest station. The place is nice and clean and had a lot of room. The beds were comfortable and there were enough amenities that made the stay comfortable and easy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful and very responsive. Overall would definitely recommend.

We arrived really early and needed to leave our luggage at airbnb before our check in time and our host was very accommodating.

Wir haben uns direkt in der Unterkunft wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und die Dachterrasse ist wirklich toll! Direkt um die Ecke ist eine Bahnstation, Getränkeautomaten und Lebensmittelgeschäfte. Diese Unterkunft hat einfach alles was man braucht! Sie ist definitiv einen Aufenthalt wert!

El lugar es genial, es una casa con 3 habitaciones, 2 estaciones de metro muy cerca lo que facilita mucho la movilidad por la ciudad, konbini muy cerca tambien, el espacio del lugar es bastante ya que es una casa, eramos 3 personas, cada quien con 2 maletas grandes y teniamos mucho espacio, si vuelvo a Tokyo definitivamente repetiría hospedaje a aquí.

Emi was a wonderful host and this airbnb was at the quiet end of a strip of small bars and restaurants, close to the Koenji train station. Occasional train noise, but not loud enough to disturb sleep in the comfy beds. My daughter enjoyed the cute anime themed bedroom behind the kitchen, which had many appliances. My son appreciated the Nintendo switch! Laundry had a washer and dryer, thanks for the clear instructions in English on how to use everything Emi, and for providing everything that was on the airbnb listing. We would be happy to stay again, and hope to in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bamboo House! It was spacious, impeccably clean, and a cozy place to call home during our trip. The surrounding area is charming, adding to the overall experience. Our hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond—picking us up from the station, being highly responsive, and generously providing drinks, snacks, rides, luggage storage, and fantastic recommendations. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. We highly recommend Bamboo House and would love to stay again!

Pencil House is centrally located. It’s a 5 minute walk to Hatsudai station, then just one stop to Shinjuku station (15/20 minute walk from Pencil House). Plenty of space in the house for our family of 4. We were all jet lagged the first couple of days and it was helpful to be able to move around without waking everyone else up. Great to have access to a full kitchen & a washer too. There’s a 7 eleven and a delicious yakitori restaurant only a short block away. Tracey & Ash were super responsive and had all household supplies fully stocked. Ash picked us up from Narita and drove us to the house. We all felt right at home! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The Airbnb was wonderful, a good amount of space and all the amenities needed. The host was very friendly and happy to help out with any requests we had and had recommendations for things to do/buy while there. It was perfect for a longer term stay with all necessities nearby and a good yakitori restaurant downstairs

Ty location of the apartment is good and close to the shrine. It is walkable distance to the metro with connections to the train station. We hired a car for a day and car parking but the apartment was easy. There are some hidden treasures of restaurants near by. The accommodation was good and all we needed. The washing machine for clothes was a nice bonus

非常舒适愉快的住宿体验，房子在当地的居民区里面，很安静，配有电梯，便于搬运行李。房子离车站很近，出行简直太方便了！房东也很好，有什么问题都能及时回复解决。我们是三个人入住，房间大小很合适，非常开心选择住在这里！！！

숙소가 생각보다 작긴했지만 셋이서 사용하는데 문제는 없었습니다. 화장실이랑 욕실도 구분 되어있어서 씻거나 화장실가는데 편했고요 와이파이도 잘 되서 좋았어요👍🏻👍🏻 다만 지하철역에서 숙소까지 좀 걸리고 4층에 위치해 있는데 엘베가 없는게 아쉽웠네요 🥲🥲

the location was amazing! it had everything we needed from conbinis to restaurants to a dryer. it is not far to walk to the station as well. the place is quite small actually but it fits 2 people. won’t be able to open 2 huge luggages at once though.

great little apartment in an excellent location. the apartment was smaller than expected based on the photos. i would recommend rearranging the beds and possibly getting bunk beds to better use the space; the bedrooms are not functional. it was a good size for a family of 3-4. it was too cold to use the outdoor space but in the summer the porch would be a great amenity. the apartment was very clean. host was very responsive. the door lock did not work correctly when we arrived but after pushing on the door while unlocking it was fine for the rest of our trip. the apartment was a pretty good value. would recommend!!

Masami’s apartment was perfect for our family of four (two parents, two teens). We prefer to avoid cookie cutter hotels and instead seek to experience places that are a little closer to how the locals live. The cozy apartment fit the bill! It’s efficiently designed, with clever features such as a shower that also functions as a clothes dryer (no tumbling, so easier on your textiles, and it works incredibly well!). We appreciated how clean everything was, and how well everything functioned. The location was great, too — a stone’s throw from the metro, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, but still nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Finally, the price was right — much better than piecing together two hotel rooms! We will recommend this place to any friends visiting Tokyo!

The home was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. It was in a peaceful and quiet location but still walking distance to the train and very good coffee. Really enjoyed the relaxing stay here!

Sho’s Riki.Flat in Yotsuya is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt totally at home. It’s cozy, stylish, and has such a warm, welcoming vibe. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud—hands down more spacious and comfortable than any hotel we’ve stayed in around Tokyo. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed (and then some). You can tell a lot of thought and care went into making this place feel special. Sho was amazing—super kind, quick to respond, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Honestly, the best Airbnb experience we’ve had! And the location? Incredible. Yotsuya is a peaceful, quiet neighborhood—perfect for getting a good night’s sleep away from the constant buzz of the city. At the same time, it’s steeped in history. Just walking around the area, you get a real sense of Tokyo’s Edo-period past blending with the modern world. It was seriously breathtaking. We will always try to stay at Riki.Flat when we return!

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

Very convenient spot to stay if you want to be a quick ride away from Shinjuku and in the heart of Okubo. We could quickly get around town, 20 minute walk to our favorite spots, or 5-10 minutes to a few subway lines. This place is great if you plan on mostly being outside touring, it is pretty compact but worked great for us.

We loved staying here! The neighborhood (Gotanda) has lots of shops and restaurants nearby yet is not as touristy or crowded as other parts of Tokyo. 5 min walk to the metro and JR station made it very convenient. The apartment had 3 separate mini-split AC units so each bedroom and the living room could be adjusted to fit preference. It was also very clean and well-stocked with the essential supplies. Bryan even stocked the fridge with an assortment of drinks for our arrival. That was a nice personal touch. He met with us upon check-in to go over the equipment and answer any questions. He also gave great recommendations for restaurants which we tried them all out. Overall, very happy with having stayed here and can't wait to return.

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond. Great location! 5 minute walk to the train station and local bars/restaurants. Accommodations are great. Comfortable bed, and bedrooms. Set up well for families with plenty of space for meals and work. Quiet neighbors in a nice neighborhood! Location is the primary reason I stay here. However, no sacrifice is needed on unit quality! Is my best Airbnb experience!
