Yoko is a warm and a welcoming host, shows great interest in other cultures and practices and personable, taking the time to talk with us. She takes the trouble to make sure we are comfortable, and our needs met. Overall, she is a great host.

I stayed here solo and the place is quite big for one person, not to mention everything is beautiful! The space is pretty much like a boutique hotel, except even better because Yoko San is an incredibly kind host that’s not just taking care of a beautiful guesthouse but also cultivating community and helping all of us play a part in appreciating the craft history and culture of Kyoto. I kept reading Kyoto is over crowded but this neighbourhood was serene and it really made me appreciate the city even more now, I also met some lovely people and we even had a special event on New Year’s Eve. There’s just too many kind gestures to mention, even at 7 am Yoko san dropped me off at the nearest train station… so so so much value and honestly a traveler’s dream because you get your privacy but also a wonderful community to get involved with if you would like and all in a stunning space. Thank you so much!

Super logement, très calme, très propre. Depuis le logement on peut aller visiter à pied un des plus beaux temple de Kyoto, et faire une balade dans la nature autour. La gare est proche à pied également. Notre hôte était très accueillante, nous a accueillis tard et nous a même offert le petit déjeuner !

Keiko is so nice. She will pick me up every evening at the near station and send me to the station when I check out. There is a bus station nearby so it’s convenient to go to some tourism attractions. The room is big and clean, the bed and pillow is comfortable. In the second floor you don’t need to worry about the noise. Last, the breakfast everyday is so delicious. Wonderful stay!

Larry was a great host, Providing great recommendations and telling us the right timings to do items as to avoid crowds and picked us up from the train station which really helped with our baggage, Couldn’t recommend a stay here more!

Keiko女士的美丽的房子坐落在安静迷人的山上，房子是非常传统的日式风格，住在这里能体验到浓浓的当地的氛围。Keiko把花园打理得非常美丽自然，最值得称赞的是Keiko每天精心做的从不重复的早餐，真的是美味至极！比我在外面吃的午餐和晚餐还要更丰盛。Keiko女士亲切善良，还会每天开车接送客人，在车上我们聊得非常开心愉快，我还学习到了好多日语。我这次已经深深爱上了京都，早上在Keiko的指导下学习做章鱼小丸子的美好记忆将会一直保留在我的脑海里，下次再来还会入住Keiko的房子！

Easily the best AirBnB experience we’ve had. Yoko’s place is a perfect place to stay in Kyoto, but it’s much more than just a place to rest your head. Yoko is helpful beyond words and goes out of her way to assist and make you feel at home. I can’t praise her or her house enough.

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

This guest house is will be the best choice. The host tommy is very kind and mindful. He speaks english very well, so someone who didn't speak japanese will be satified. Also, the domitory bed was very nice. It's cozy and comfotable. And Tommy will give you breakfast If you request. The toast was tasty. I recommend this guest house, you will not regret your choice. Staying here was the best part of my trip. Chieri is an amazing host and I had a great time getting to know some of the locals in the area.

I planned a trip to Kyoto with a classic B&B vibe in mind and while there was no opportunity to eat all together, Tsukiya was perfect! Location was exactly where we wanted to be in the city, with easy access to public transit and even walkable areas. The breakfasts every morning were thoughtfully crafted starting about 2 hours beforehand. The space was authentic - highly recommend to anyone going to Kyoto!

I’m so glad I found this spot! I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. My room had everything I needed, and despite the cold front in Kyoto the heater kept things very cozy. Make sure to get up for breakfast in the morning, it’s delicious! And the location is everything you’d want on a trip to Kyoto - especially if you like the Gion area. I hope to be back soon!

Staying at John’s place in Shiga was an unforgettable experience! John is an incredibly passionate and energetic host, always full of enthusiasm. He and his lovely wife, Rika, made me feel right at home. They even invited me to join their family for a delicious homemade dinner, and Rika kindly provided breakfast as well. Their son, Andre, was also very friendly, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. The house itself is a charming countryside cottage surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect getaway. If you’re visiting Shiga, staying with John is an absolute must! Highly recommended!

非常好的房子，非常好的房东，非常好的住宿体验🥳🥳🥳 房屋位于居民区内，晚上非常宁静，距离jr茨木站步行约10分钟，途中有便利店、超市，生活非常便利。从茨木站坐JR去大阪十分钟多点，去大阪市内和周边城市旅游都很方便😏房屋装修和布置非常温馨，房屋内的设施以及各种生活用品也非常齐全。平常会用到的东西基本上都有准备，真的非常贴心！！ 房东非常热情、耐心、细心！入住和离开的时候开车接送我们往返车站，免去拖着行李的麻烦。 最让人意外和印象深刻的是每天早上房东准备的早饭🤤🤤早饭非常丰盛，种类也很多样，每天都不太一样所以每天早上都是不一样的惊喜。餐具也很精致，充满了生活情调。非常感谢房东每天早早开始精心准备的早饭🥰🥰同时还会热情聊天、介绍要去的地方的景点、茨木的历史和风景等等等等。有翻译机所以不用担心沟通不畅。 超级流水账地写完了(虽然感觉很多细节没写清楚)，总之绝对是非常推荐大家入住的👍🏻👍🏻😼
