Perfect spot for Kyoto exploration! Yukari was very friendly, and it was amazing to be able to rent bikes.

First time staying here but have stayed at other Airbnbs by Oguri, who is an excellent host and always responsive. The place is easy to find, the building has a door code and the unit has a door code which made it easy to get in and out. Unfortunately you get a bit of traffic noise from outside because it’s next to a busy road. But the beds were super comfortable, full size kitchen with fridge and freezer. Has a washer but no dryer, but provides drying hangers. Everything was as described.

It was a nice place to stay in with a cozy room. We had enough space for luggage which was very convenient. No need for an adapter, there are already USB inputs next to the beds available for charging ur phone, which is amazing . Would stay here again thank you :)

Cozy, spacious and clean Japanese furnished apartment, perfectly suited for longer stays (highly recommend!) and perfect for immersive stays in Kyōto! Very convenient location, laundromat, convenience stores and good food restaurants right across the street. Major train stations at Nijō (Subway and JR lines) 8~10min by foot. The apartment has all household amenities you would have back in your own home! Modern toilet and washroom technologies, very spacious kitchen to Japanese Apartment standards, and plenty of room for 2 people! Kyōto is a city where having a bicycle will grant you so much freedom and open up more time in your day. As someone who lived here for 4½ years, it's the #1 major city in Japan where biking is a necessity for getting around! Yukari goes above-and-beyond and provides multiple bicycles for guests to use for free for your daily plans around the city! Kind and easy check-in & local recommendations! Great location. Close to a busy bus stop. Not too far away from the train station. Decent food close by. The free bikes were very fun. Only thing I disliked was the very very slow WiFi and there was some road noise you can hear. If you're a light sleeper this might disturb your sleep.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Oguri was so friendly and such an accommodating host. The room itself was also lovely with every amenity you could possibly need, and everything was soooo clean! I would definitely come and stay here again if I make another visit to Kyoto. ☺️

This was the perfect place for our time in Kyoto! It was close to both bus and train stations for convenient travel, and was very clean and comfortable. There are also nice restaurants nearby, with a grocery store just under a 10 minute walk away. We would love to come back in the future!

This is one of the best places we’ve found through Airbnb. Everything is as described. The size of the apartment is perfect for two adults and one child - European standards. The kitchen is just what we need for a light breakfast/lunch. The level of cleanliness was one of the best we have ever seen. The location is perfect, close to the metro, train station and several bus stops. The communication through the application was perfect, only at the reception there was a nice Japanese girl who was struggling a bit with her English but she was very kind and helpful. Overall great Japanese experience and would definitely recommend this place. We had a wonderful week in Kyoto and I am sure this hotel was a big part of that experience.

The beautiful and comfortable Homestay and heat dry clothes bathroom that I like a lot but if you are using JR , the nearest is JR train station is Enmachi then use JR bus. it’s quite far from the JR bus stop. Better use city bus.

The tatami and beds were cozy, and the bathroom featured both drying and cooling functions. It was perfect for two people! The staff was very friendly, and we took advantage of the bicycle rental to explore the surrounding area. It was also very convenient to take the bus to many places. There are at least three large supermarkets nearby. The small cafes and restaurants in the area are definitely worth a try! Highly recommend!

Excellent place to get a Japanese-style living experience. We were three travelers with a hefty amount of luggage and the space was plenty for us. Relaxing on top of the heated mat is a luxury for colder weathers. The neighborhood itself was quiet, and there was lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The subway station was also close by. I would definitely recommend this place for three people.

Benedict was very responsive to our message. Since this was our first time to Kyoto, we missed the train and took the wrong bus, causing us unable to reach the airbnb for check in on time. Benedict was so patient and was even worried about us and asked whether we are OK and reminded us to be cautious coming back. It was easy to locate the airbnb as it was registered and can be found easily on maps. The house was clean, with all the complete amenities such as washer, dryer, microwave and so on. Rooms are spacious and we were comfortable staying there. As for the location, the nearest bus station is within 5 minutes walking distance. It will take some transit time to travel from the bus station to transfer to the train station. It is a peaceful neighbourhood. Other than that, everything is good. Benedict has even provided a huge map on the wall, full of recommendations and places to go for our references. Thank you again for hosting us.
