The host communicated well and helped us find the place when we got lost. It is very close to Kyoto station. It is also very clean.

This airbnb has everything you would like for a trip in Kyoto. Conveniently located, in a quiet street yet close to transportation and cultural places. It was spacious, well decorated and clean. Would come back anyday.

Daigo's guest house is a truly wonderful space, with every detail considered and taken care of. I couldn't recommend enough staying in his wonderful home. Full of great design, appliances, art books, records, and in a beautiful location.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this Airbnb! The place was very comfortable, especially for our kids, with plenty of space and amenities. It’s located in a quiet residential neighborhood, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. We highly recommend it!

AMAZING stay in Kyoto!! When my friend and I were looking for places to stay for our trip to Japan we really wanted to stay in traditional Japanese style homes and this was PERFECT!! So much character and really added a lot to our trip. Neighborhood is super cute and convenient to a lot of the attractions in Kyoto. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby it was superb. Keiko was super sweet & helpful and would highly recommend staying here to anyone coming to Japan!

Great and convenient place to stay. We stayed for an evening the night before an early morning flight. Just note, there were no black-out blinds (lots of light came into the room at night) and lots of noise from the train network (no sound deadening). Otherwise, a really good and clean BNB.

リビングは広く、充分に楽しめるスペースだった。寝室もベッドルーム、和室、 2段ベッドと多種多様な部屋があり、利用しやすかった。目の前に駐車場もある為、車訪問でも全く問題なかったです。

とても過ごしやすい素敵な部屋でした。 ホストの方も親しみやすく良い方でした。有難うございました。

Very convenient location in quiet part of town. I would come back to this place.

Ken was very down to earth and met/communicated with us accordingly. If you are looking for the best location in Kyoto for a couple or small family (two small children) then this would be my recommendation. Perfectly situated next to many subway stations, shopping, and dining areas this charming apartment met all of our needs while we enjoyed Kyoto for 5 days. Nestled very closely to the Gion nightlife you will be welcomed to many options to enjoy just that with the opportunity to retreat to river view “lanai” and unwind. Ken’s Riverside Terrace was simple but convenient and elegant. He provided small touches of service such as house items you may want to use( we loved the cute Ghibli characters), friendly messages to check in on us, and a gift bag when we checked out. We will 100% would love to return here one day and we appreciate the opportunity to enjoy Kyoto coming from Hawaii.

I'm a repeat guest! That should say a lot. Place is conveniently located, has everything a single person needs for an extended stay. my favourite local activity was taking walks along the river and watching the trains.

It was so much fun staying here, easily accommodated 6 people, not a ton of privacy but we decided it would be like a sleepover with a touch of Japanese culture. The place has a good amount of space, kitchen is very nice, big fridge, and good sized shower room and separate bathroom (restaurant style bathroom, two stall toilets and two wall urinals, but it served its purpose well, it was kinda fun). Lots of places to shop and eat at nearby make sure to explore on foot. A few train stations within easy walking distance too. Don’t forget to schedule a matcha tea session with the host in the tea room!

掲載されている写真の通りの、素晴らしい施設でした。残念ながら宿泊した日の天候は悪かったですが、室内も充実しており十分に楽しめました。

Beautiful Japanese Ikkodate. Simple but have everything you need. Plenty of restrooms both downstairs and upstairs. The hakoniwa with tea room is amazing! We had great family chilled time there.

这次和好友一起去关西玩，在小黛家住了三个晚上，真的很棒，典雅的日式榻榻米别墅，内部装饰的也很漂亮，住在里面非常有代入感，别墅位处京都富人区，环境非常好，虽然不在市中心但配套设施很好，地铁和便利店都是极短的步行范围内。然后，小黛姐人真的超级好！很热心，入住之前不厌其烦的在微信上回答我各种问题，到京都当天更是开车来山科站接我们，然后给我们详细的介绍京都应该怎么玩，怎么坐车，还让我们碰到问题随时微信上联系她，最后一晚还拿出珍藏的红酒招待我们，给我的感觉不是房东，而是多年的好朋友在日本招待我。

It was a nice, almost four storey apartment. The place is 20 mins away from the station. But it was a nice walk from the station if the weather is good. The view from the place is great. You can see the lake and the mountain. We love the nature the most.
