We absolutely loved it there , feel like we stayed in more local part which added to great stay we had , place was super clean and host, recommendations of local places to go was amazing we had some good meals , room was spacious and very clean , very cool and artsy definitely recommend !

We loved our stay here. The room was the most spacious on our trip to Japan. The cafe downstairs served great coffee, it’s nice to just get up in the morning and not have to walk anywhere for breakfast.!The place was perfectly clean, warm, and comfortable. Staff were great too. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic place, walkable from the bus lines, lots to do in the neighborhood but also a peaceful and private area. The check in was very personal and inviting, they walked me through a list of their recommendations in the neighborhood, and local shrines and temples. Theres even a tattoo friendly onsen less than a 5 min walk away! All of the staff is lovely, and I would love to book here again if I ever find myself back in Kyoto!

这间京都旅馆，让我真正体会到了什么是宾至如归。Essam是一位热情的埃及人，每天早晚都会主动和我打招呼问候，还会开玩笑～他可爱的笑容瞬间拉近了我们之间身为异国人之间的距离，也让我感受到温暖。 旅馆里的两位工作人员和三位年轻志愿者也都超级友好。他们非常善于交流。每天晚上，志愿者和旅客们围坐在一起吃饭聊天，分享彼此的一天。在这里，我见到许多来自不同地方的朋友，我觉得这就是青旅的意义。 这里的洗浴室特别干净，洗发露、护发素、沐浴露、拖鞋配备齐全。这里还贴心地设置了晾晒衣服的地方，这对于像我这样出门在外需要经常换洗衣服的旅客来说，实在是太方便了。 出门不远就是一家7 - 11便利店，无论是购买生活用品还是简单的食物都非常便捷。附近还有几家餐厅。

This is a hostel but not like any hostel in USA. So clean, private, safe, and comfortable. Wang greeted us and made wonderful recommendations so we went to he Monkey Park (WOW) amazing views in their habitat and views, then Hot Springs and Bamboo forest all within walking distance. Ate and drank and local places recommended that we would never have found. Next day - took Uber to Golden Temple. Such a short stay but did so much. Thank you Mulan and Wang! Highly recommend.

The location is great, quiet without tourists 😍 but near to the main attractions (metro and buses 6min by walk maximum) I loved the bathroom only for women well designed, perfect private space in the individual showers to change and it was always clean everyday. You can also store your luggage for free and lot of restaurants around. The mattress was a bit thin for me (upper bed) :/ so for 3 nights it was okay. Thank you again 😇

Hosts were very warm and accommodating. We really appreciate that we were given expound local recommendations as well as events happening in the area. The space was very cozy and comfortable. It created a space for community-like feeling. Thank you so much for your accommodation 🫶🏼

位置很不错，离京都火车站很近，大概步行10分钟。房间虽然小，但是麻雀虽小 五脏俱全。隔音稍微差了点，另外床上的被子感觉有点太厚了，不是特别舒服。但是整体瑕不掩瑜。距离鸭川也很近。

This place is very spacious and great for two people visiting Kyoto. It is right by the station, about a 5 minute walk. However, to get into the town/shops, it is about a 35 min walk. There are multiple bathrooms and showers which were clean. We were not waiting around for them to become available. We didn’t use the kitchen space but it looked like it had the basic amenities and also looked clean. The host was super responsive and friendly. They also let us store our bags while we explored the city after check out. The room itself is very basic. There is a desk but isn’t a mirror which would have been nice. I would recommend this place if you are visiting Kyoto.

Emiko et sa famille sont adorables, bienveillants, à l’écoute, plein de bons conseils et astuces. La chambre est bien agencée et tout confort. Ce fut un réel plaisir de résider chez eux.

If I go back to Kyoto I would stay there again. Beautiful building, with a very nice room. The bathrooms and toilets are very clean. The upstairs area is so cosy and warm you feel at home. It is really clean everywhere and simply beautiful

A great value stay in a super convenient location! This place is perfect for singles — it offers a functional kitchen, washing machines, and a dryer, which made our stay very comfortable. The café downstairs always had friendly and helpful staff, which added a nice touch to our experience. The location is unbeatable — everything is within walking distance. We didn’t need any transport to enjoy the cherry blossoms or visit the beautiful temples up the hill. One small area for improvement is the heating near the bathroom and toilet entrance. It was a bit cold during our stay, and having that area heated would make a big difference. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with great value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Una casa bastante amplia y muy bien equipada. Con facilidad acceso a cualquier lugar, además de estar muy organizado y cálido.

房间非常大，我们7大3小差不多人均一个房！房间无异味。主要洗手间 浴室真的多！3个淋浴设施4个马桶，对于多家庭来说，这个真的太友好了。

宿泊費も良心的で、シングルベッドを利用できる素晴らしい場所です。

The prettiest capsule hotel I've ever stayed at! The wooden furnishings make fot such a nice atmosphere and the capsules look more like tiny huts than capsules. Masa-san was very accommodating (I was a bit late for check-in, he contacted me and made sure I found the place), he shows you around in person and stresses how important it is to keep to the quiet hours. It works well, the place is very quiet for a capsule hotel. You can do your laundry for free, use the lounge area to eat or make phone calls, and you get a complimentary water bottle and a fresh towel every day. The place is clean and neat, smells nice and the soft background music playing downstairs is relaxing and contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. Definitely would stay again!

You’ll be gladly forced to walk a bit through the serene ancient alleys to Hostel Sui. GPS may pleasantly misguide you, but once you’re there, beside the wooden door, you’ll see a cafe table umbrella set up perfect for people, or dog watching, if any. Either way, it sets the tone for your arrival. If the host is not busy sprucing up the place, he will greet you like a lost long friend. After setting your shoes aside for complimentary slippers, he will give you a tour of the award-winning layout (seriously, it won an award for hostels). Eventually, you’ll be lead to your wooden cave, quaint enough to sit and slide in. If you’re scared of small spaces, I still think it’s spacious enough for you. For top bunkers, I believe you have a high ceiling. For lower bunks like myself, you’ll be given a special desk area. As a writer, it was a great surprise. Once you pack up your luggage and ready to tour, the main streets are a 5-10 minute walk. Overall, it was a peaceful stay.

개별난방인 점이 가장 좋았습니다. 따뜻했어요ㅎㅎ 대신 건조해지니까 바디로션, 토너팩 필수! 수건 매일 교체해주셔서 적셔서 널어놓고 잤어요👍 체크인도, 메세지도 엄청 친절하십니다. 저렴하게 혼자 너무 잘 지내서 다음에 꼭 다시 이용하고싶어요:D

Tsukimi Hotel is affordable and great. For a pod hotel it’s very clean and staff are super friendly. What I like most about this hotel is the location it’s literally a 1-2 blocks from the historical places in Kyoto. So if you want to beat the crowded times and walk through the traditional path ways, I highly recommend.

I stayed one night here and it was exactly what I expected and the way it is described in the listing. I was happy w my stay. Most notable was the very kind, open, friendly, helpful staff. The evening and morning I was there, the vibe seemed very light and nice—guests and staff alike.

Really friendly host and comfy bed. Maybe bring earplugs though cause the beds make sound if you're below someone stirring around it's hard to sleep.Also some rude people banging on the stairs and playing their videos out loud but that's not the Airbnb fault. I just was too shy to tell them to be quiet haha
