We enjoyed our few nights in a cosy room, Yusuke has been great!

This place was the perfect spot we were looking for. perfect spot to go travel and next to the subway and bus stations, would stay here again!

Such a nice hostel to stay in Kyoto. The manager and staff are very kind and welcoming. The facilities affoard all you need like bathroom, kitchen, laundry. The place is designed well, i really love it from the layout, materials, and also the details they put (you can found cat reference anywhere in the hostel). Thank you for providing comfortable place in Kyoto. Definietly i will choose Expo Hostel again if I visiting Kyoto someday in future :)

Essam is amazing, I felt a genuine true kind hospitality in his guesthouse . He has a way to make people feel good and make them feel at home. The staff is very kind, genuine and helpful. They offer guidance about where to go …. The kitchen is nice. I was able to make myself nice warm meals. Overall, staying with Essam made my Kyoto stay more pleasant and even memorable! I highly recommend it😀

우선 숙소가 넘 깨끗하고 편안했습니다! 화장실과 샤워실이 아래층에 있는것 빼고는 불편한점 없이 이틀간 숙박했어요! 주변 동네도 평화롭고 맛집, 온천, 공원 모두 다 만족했습니다👍👍

The location is great, quiet without tourists 😍 but near to the main attractions (metro and buses 6min by walk maximum) I loved the bathroom only for women well designed, perfect private space in the individual showers to change and it was always clean everyday. You can also store your luggage for free and lot of restaurants around. The mattress was a bit thin for me (upper bed) :/ so for 3 nights it was okay. Thank you again 😇

We are staying at Yusuke’s accommodation for 5 days and 4 night. Yusuke is very helpful regarding the local recommendation, places to visit, and ongoing events that is currently happening in Kyoto. About the location itself, it is quite near the bus stop, but a bit of a walk for the metro station. However, you can expect a beatiful local neighborhood when you are about to go to the bus stops. Around the neighborhood, there are several supermarket (very helpful and more cheaper than the usual minimarket), good local restaurants are also available. About the accommodation, the room is as what you see on the listings. Overall, it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and homey. We will obviously going to book this accommodation if we happen to visit Kyoto in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Self check in was super easy and convenient, hosts were very friendly, amenities were exactly as described. The bathroom showers could use a little more cleaning but overall pretty clean! Rooms were very clean.

Emiko et sa famille sont adorables, bienveillants, à l’écoute, plein de bons conseils et astuces. La chambre est bien agencée et tout confort. Ce fut un réel plaisir de résider chez eux.

Simple and very accommodating service, with a great understated and relaxing vintage aesthetic. It feels homely and authentic. The cafe is a very atmospheric place to hang out and get delicious coffee and food. A very convienent and cool place to stay

Nice place

The location was perfect to move through Kyoto, as it was so close to the train station. The room was comfortable and the common areas (living room and bathroom) were spacious and beautifully designed. Great for its price too!

房间非常大，我们7大3小差不多人均一个房！房间无异味。主要洗手间 浴室真的多！3个淋浴设施4个马桶，对于多家庭来说，这个真的太友好了。

This was a great place to stay in Kyoto. Close to beautiful streets of the city and major temples, and on a quiet street where it was easy to get a good night’s sleep. The room was really cool and traditional, and the beds were comfortable and heating worked very well. Staff in the main building was friendly and they had a great lounge area there as well. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Location close to station, walkable location, easy to find with hosts directions Room/ Stay Great amenities, full kitchen, easy check in & out, large room , comfortable bed, friendly host, very clean and spacious I wish I had stayed here longer, and I would have extended my stay if I didn't have flights out. Next time I am in Kyoto, I will 100% stay here and recommend it. Great value and was lucky to find such a place!

I had a very enjoyable stay at Ace's guesthouse, so much that I extended for a few more days. Ace and his partner were both very friendly, welcoming and looked after all the guests really well. I found it incredibly peaceful there and a great place if you need to work as there is a common room for guests and the WiFi is decent. The capsules were very spacious, enough to put your belongings and mine came with a window that had a nice view. The matrice and bedding was also very comfortable. There is also a kitchen where they offer free coffee and tea, a laundry room and the hot showers are great. The location is also very convenient as it's just by the bridge and the station, and next to a convenience store that's 24 hours if you need anything. I could not recommend this place more if you're visiting Kyoto, please visit if you get the chance. Thank you both for accommodating me, and I look forward to returning again!

房子很漂亮，距离车站大约19分钟。房东建议日落前到达是有原因的，这里没有路灯。非常抱歉晚上让房东白跑了一趟没有接到我，感受到了善意。有大大的泡澡池，可以放松。厨房有三个大冰箱，很棒！

Really a great location and place to stay. One step out of the door and basically you're already on the beach, also a great view from inside. The host and staff are also super friendly and helpful and I could easily wash and dry my clothes, great for backpacking. Truly a gem.
