Had a lovely, peaceful stay at Casey's cabin. The space is private and thoughtfully decorated with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. A perfect getaway for self care and pampering!

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful eco cabin, Kay was very easy to deal with and having the hot tub ready to go when we arrived was an added bonus! Every little aspect has been well thought out. Highly recommend

We were a group of five (3 adults, two young children) and really enjoyed our stay at this fairytale house. It was very clean and furnished with lots of charming accessories which make the place even more WOW. I personally loved the outdoor illumination at night, which added to the fairytale feeling. We also made use of the hot tub. The only thing to improve is the wifi speed and coverage throughout the house. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a very special stay.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

Convenient no frills accom in walking distance to town. We were slightly saddened to see that the hot tub wasn’t located in the garden of the unit as we assumed it was from the pictures. Extra towels delivered when needed and fast communication. Very comfortable bed. Great shower pressure.

Robyn and Dan’s place was amazing! Though it is nearby to a road, they made sure to make the property so private and cozy that you feel like no one is around! We stayed at many places while traveling NZ, several of them had outdoor tubs but Robyn and Dan’s top them all! They also left my husband and I complimentary Prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon which was so sweet! The bed and pillows are VERY comfortable! Robyn was very responsive when we arrived. Highly recommend staying here!

they were very nice. even loaned me a chefs knife and some oil. let us pick some fruit from the trees. would recomend.

Sean & Jana’s cottage is worth every penny! The photos don’t do it justice. This air bnb was absolutely beautiful and the outside bath tub at night is incredible we had clear nights to star gaze from the tub. I would highly recommend as it was the best place to stay if you’re wanting to visit mount cook and Lake Tekapo. We will be back :)

The home is just like the pictures. Well equipped kitchen and comfy patio furniture (though that late afternoon sun is strong! lol) It’s about 1 mi walk down the slight hill to town. There’s a small brewery/cafe called Be Social just down the road that I highly recommend.

Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt, um am nächsten Morgen mit der Fähre, die nur 10 min entfernt ist, zu fahren. In der Unterkunft ist alles Nötige vorhanden. Sogar ein paar Willkommensgrüße wurden für uns bereitgestellt. Das Glas Wein haben wir dankend an dem direkt erreichbaren See am Abend genossen.

Wow the view is amazing. The bach feels like home. Very quiet and private. We were lucky enough to have two glorious sunny days. Would love to have stayed longer and will definitely be back. Thanks Lucretia

I have never used AirBNB before and was so impressed with this place and the hospitality and food provided during our stay. If we elected to cook our own meals, all the facilities were in place. Beds, linen and shower/toilet facilities all clear and functional. Hosts Maggie and Yves were very personable and helpful. I would definitely recommend The Gumboot Lodge as a stay.

Sana sent very clear instructions to access our cabin so we found it easily. We had everything we needed for a short stopover. We arrived in time for a walk around the neighbourhood, finding the play park and a little stream to wander beside. Great place for a couple.

Pete's huis is een erg sfeervolle plek. Je verblijft hier niet in een onpersoonlijk huurhuis maar in een echte woning die als snel een thuis wordt. Daar bovenop is het prachtig gelegen met een zicht op de vallei en de achterliggende bergen. Het overdekte terras is een bijkomende troef. Het huis is van alles voorzien wat je nodig hebt en mocht je toch nog iets extra willen, vraag het dan gewoon aan Pete. Hij houdt er duidelijk van om zijn gasten een perfecte ervaring te bezorgen. We zullen ons verblijf in 'Wild Earth' niet licht vergeten. Bedankt Pete om deze plek met anderen te delen.

One of the best stays we have had. Such a gorgeous outlook on the large deck. The cabins are very warm, and beds and linen so comfortable. Everything you could need in the kitchen, all spotless and welcoming. Really enjoyed being there.

Me and my Partner stayed at Cecilia's place for 4 weeks . The place exceeded our expectations and we throughly enjoyed our stay here! The host was also very responsive and active with any queries we had 🙂

tolle Unterkunft liebevoll irgendwie aus der Zeit gefallen aber bezaubernd. Dusche und Whirpool Küche im Freien außergewöhnlich. Straße etwas laut aber hat mich nicht gestört. War ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Nice chilled holiday at a good location

The views are phenomenal, the property is an attraction in and of itself. Some of the best views we have ever seen. We were floored when we arrived at the property; the pictures do not do this place enough justice. You are essentially on top of a private mountain with full 360 views of the mountain ranges, valleys, fjords, rivers etc. We love interacting with the sheep and learning more about the farm. Our hosts were so nice and welcoming. There were so many amenities provided at the property. In the evening you can see the entire Milky Way, and take an outdoor bath with views of the sunrise over the mountains. If you want a secluded piece of paradise this is the place. We cannot wait to come back.

Stunning spot to take a pause from day to day life! Beautiful, quiet, has all the essentials and more! The sauna and outdoor shower were lush! Great communication and recommendations but ended up spending the whole weekend chilling out at the cabin 😇 will be back 🙌🏼

Our favourite stay so far on our South Island adventure. Stunning surroundings and beautifully presented property. So peaceful and quiet with an absolutely beautiful view of the stars at night. Wonderful hosts, very responsive and friendly, would stay again and recommend to everyone looking for a relaxing place to disconnect.

Pete’s Place was amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer but we only did a single night on our way over the pass. The heated floors and kitchen amenities were our favorite touches.

My stay at the carriage was absolutely incredible ! It was the perfect place to reset and relax. The accommodation was cozy and extraordinary. Every time I felt welcome. The perfect little paradise at almost the end of my travels. The hosts were simply wonderful and if I would have the chance to be in queenstown again I’d love to stay there another time.
