We had a lovely stay at Sukhi & Glenn’s place on the lake. They were very hospitable and friendly and provided what we needed for our week long stay with our baby. We would love to come back and would highly recommend their place.

Had a great stay with Paul. Came out to greet us and show us around when we got there. Let us use their bikes and brought us fresh towels almost immediately after messaging for some. Lovely place!

Massively undersold. Rooms in a beautifully maintained house, with living room area and deck available (from which you could see the sea). Friendly, helpful hostess. Just such a lovely place, easily accessible to town and Caroline bay!

This is truely a beautiful spot to fully immerse yourself in nature! A really good location just minutes from the beach and restaurants. Shanti has really created a place that is relaxing and comfortable. There are clear instructions on how to use everything provided which made the stay a breeze. I highly recommend getting the little breakfast platter and enjoying the fresh produce from the garden. The bed was one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in, especially after a long day at the beach, it was a highlight for me ! Highly recommend staying here!

We could not have loved our stay with Sally and Kerry (and Finn the dog) more! They truly went above and beyond to welcome us. We so enjoyed the time we spent at their lovely home, full of beauty and warmth, as well as the time spent in their delightful company. Breakfasts were perfect, the atmosphere relaxed as well as relaxing, and it was just an all-around magical stay. Thank you Sally and Kerry and we hope to see you again!

Home sweet home! I can’t tell how excited I am coming back “home”! I spent one and half day in Wanaka, booked another Airbnb but never saw the host, just me and the room, it was okay, but having someone there waiting for you always warms your heart, isn’t that right? I do enjoy joining Peggy’s morning talk with the neighbor and some casual chats with other guests, it gave me a sense of belonging. And it’s always pleasant chatting with Peggy and Dantay. Dantay also taught me some soccer tricks😁 I traveled alone, but never felt loneliness at Peggy’s, next time Queenstown, and I certainly know my way home 😉

I can’t say enough good things about Pete and Janine. I’ve never been in a more beautiful location. I couldn’t believe the sky at night with a crescent moon and maybe a planet. I had a delicious dinner sitting outside with the hosts and other guests. I loved the quiet and serenity. As others have said, Pete and Janine are wonderful hosts. I’ll be back.

The location of this was excellent - well placed for visiting vineyards and local walks of the Wairau River. The accommodation was spotless and well maintained. It had everything we needed. The host, Andrew, was very welcoming and helpful. They supplied essentials - tea , coffee, bread, cereal and freshly laid eggs and fresh fruit - the plums were delicious! The gardens were beautiful and was a lovely place to relax ( and drink the odd glass of wine ) We were a group of 4 (two couples) this location was perfect - Highly recommended.

Helen is a fantastic host. We felt right at home! Enjoyed the option for a home cooked dinner and sweet conversation. The bedroom has plenty of space and she is ready to offer anything she has on hand. Oh, and the view is majestic! If you are planning to be near Arthur’s Pass we highly recommend Helen’s place!

This was just one of the best airbnb experiences we‘ve ever had. The house of Joanne and Bryce is beautiful and our room was very spacious and wonderfully furnished. We even had a private bathroom, which was very stylish as well. We had everything we needed and even more. The hosts are just very warm people and made us feel at home from the beginning. We loved every minute of our stay- thank you Joanne & Bryce for having us ☺️ Needless to say - we would definitely book this airbnb again.

Karen's and Rob are such wonderful people and hosts. Their home is immaculately clean and so comfortable. We were made to feel right at home and enjoyed talking with them in the evening. Breakfast was next level with an assortment of fruits, yogurt, cereal, eggs and specialty coffee, jam and honey. Delicious. Karen's and Rob really rate an 11, not a 5!

Rhonda and Wal were our hosts not Tim and Jacqui. Rhonda and Wal were outstanding hosts, they are friendly, proactive and helpful. Highly recommended Airbnb hosts!

Karen is a kind and considerate host. She was kind enough to provide me with ingredients for a sandwich for my long day of flights. Great conversationalist and she provided thoughtful recommendations so I could make the most of my time in the city.

Loin de la cohue de Queenstown mais très bien situé comme base pour faire Routeburn et Fjordland. Gary est sympathique et pas compliqué,j’ai connu son fils et sa petite fille,tous du bien bon monde!

Wish we had more time there wonderful kitchen , sitting area, library. Good stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this family-friendly accommodation with a beautiful lake view, nestled in a charming village. The steamer in the room kept the temperature and humidity just right, and the bed was so comfortable that our whole family slept soundly. Even our 8-month-old baby slept through the night in the baby bed! The bathroom was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure, which made for a very satisfying experience. But the best part of our stay was the incredibly warm and kind hosts. Their thoughtful hospitality made us feel truly welcome. We also really appreciated the delicious breakfast they prepared, which helped us start the day on a great note. If we visit New Zealand again, we will definitely stay here again!

Just when I thought our Airbnb experiences could not be beaten there was Colleen and Trevor. They made us feel like family whilst still retaining discreet sensitivity to our privacy. Nothing was too much effort. Home baked goodies too! Beautiful Lilly the dog has been well trained to offer you as much or as little attention as you would like. We could not rate this stay more highly and hope to meet up with Colleen and Trevor again one day.

Honestly, THE best AirBnB we've had (and on this particular vacation we'll have more than 30). Ted and Sue understand what makes a place to stay an experience to remember - not simply a bed for the night that'll blend with all the others. The accommodation is a 10, the hosts make it an 11.

Really lovely and well kept place. Attention to detail in all things. Comfortable bed too. Catherine is friendly and has a lot of local knowledge to share for those interested. The included breakfast included many options and was tasty. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Charming house with a lot of character. Lovely backyard and neighbourhood. Beth was friendly and kind, and helped us with great recommendations for treks and walks nearby

A wonderful place to stay. Roomy, well equipped kitchen, beautifully presented home within short walking distance from the main street of Lyttleton and the view! Our young granddaughter came to visit and there were toys available including an inside and outside chalk board. A great addition was having a swipe card and extra towels to use at the community pool which was a few minutes walk. (This was at no extra cost.) We enjoyed reading about the history of the home. Charmaine was very accommodating and great to interact with. Highly recommend if you are wanting a lovely spacious retreat that is a great location.

Everything was spectacular—the location and stunning view in itself is breathtaking and the interior design and comforts in the room were outstanding. Shirley is a wonderful host who wants her guests to have an unforgettable stay. Definitely a highlight during our holiday to the beautiful South Island of New Zealand.

Holly and Julian were amazing hosts - very helpful, kind, friendly and just great people to talk to. Their place is beautiful, and the dogs are lovely! My boyfriend and I love dogs so having Rocket and Luna around the house made our stay really enjoyable ❤
