Peaceful and perfectly outfitted ! Such a beautiful little cabin, thoughtfully designed, homely and with everything you need. Ella is a great communicator; responsive and friendly. Guy showed us a walk to the top of their property, with wonderful views. Being a working farm and attached to the host property and shed, you can see the operation, which is interesting and sometimes busy, but very quiet at night. A close drive to the Caitlin attractions. Eat at your table by the expansive view, read by the log burner and sleep in the most comfortable bed with natural bedding. Really lovely- we will be back!

We had a fantastic stay here for a couple of nights. The setting was beautiful and Michele was kind enough to let us explore the stunning garden and enjoy some of her home grown veg. The welcome couldnt have been warmer. The accommodation was clean and cosy and was perfect for us and our two small children. A perfect alternative to staying in Tekapo. We would loved to have stayed longer. Would strongly recommend this place to others.

The lookout lodge was by far one of the best places I've ever stayed! The lodge was perfect for our girls weekend, spacious, clean with everything you need. The garden are and lookout/views are incredible. Nancy was a great host and communicated everything perfectly. We all cant wait to book again with our family!

As a university professor on sabbatical, the month I spent at Drew and Sally’s was exactly what I needed. A beautiful, peaceful, quiet place to write and the perfect place to be refreshed too. I wish I could give it 10 stars. More than anything else, my parents and I appreciated their kindness and warm hospitality. We were welcomed as though we were dear friends and were given many fresh eggs, produce from the garden, tales of adventure (Sally climbed Denali and Drew mountaineered and protected people in Antarctica), and walks with Koa, the friendliest and sweetest dog ever. I loved seeing the stars and Milky Way at night, the cute town of Geraldine with the Talbot Forest Walk, the biking/walking trail right by Drew and Sally’s house, the nearby Peel Forest and beach at Timaru, and great day trips to Lake Tekapo, Mt. Cook, and where LOTR filmed Edoras. I only stayed a month but I feel homesick and hope to return someday. We’ll stay in touch, Drew and Sally! Love from Laurie

The cottage on the small farm was perfect for a couple or a family. Janette was very welcoming and helpful. We could have stayed a few more nights.

Loved staying at Meg’s place! It was a peaceful getaway. Loved seeing the horses and foals. Also enjoyed the very friendly dog and cat. The cat gets chatty when they see you and greets you when walking out to your car or coming back to the property. Facilities were great! Highly recommend and would stay again.

What a wonderful place to stay. Everything you could need, beautifully done. So much space as well. Don't expect high speed broadband, it was enough for the TV and Web browsing / tiktok viewing! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Really wonderful Airbnb! The cottage was beautiful and comfortable, with all the amenities we could ask for. Location was great! We especially loved the outdoor bathtub. Highly recommend!

Stay at Kim and Glen's. You will not be disappointed in Greymouth. It's the best decorated and the breakfast items are amazing as are the hosts.

Harriet's place is about 2 hours from Christchurch, but only a few minutes to the Mount Sunday turnoff. Her place was exactly as described and like the pictures. it was a Bedroom with a small kitchen area plus a big bathroom. The place also included a gorgeous porch that overlooked the pastures and had a view of the mountains. I highly recommend checking the stars out at night if you get a clear night. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone else to stay here if in the area.

Ran out of gas and it was replaced within 10 minutes of letting Erin know! The place is very cute, perfect for a little family night away. There isn’t a stove or oven but the BBQ and hot plate attached worked perfect!!

Sally and Bruce's place was absolutely wonderful! A great place to call home during our road trip (especially after a very long day of hiking in Abel Tasman). Not to mention, the bed was very comfortable! We had the best time.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Carmel & Dan’s place. What a beautiful spot! Carmel & Dan are so lovely & friendly which makes you feel immediately at home. The place is furnished beautifully and was in pristine condition. It had all the amenities we needed. We really enjoyed walking around the beautiful property and feeding the sheep and goat. We loved exploring the area and did day trips to Abel Tasman to hike and kayak! We also enjoyed dinner at the Moutere Inn. We would highly recommend booking this spot!

This was our second stay here - it was as lovely and comfortable as last time. This time we even got a visit from the very affectionate cat, and had the delight of being able to feed the ducks, hens, rooster and the gorgeous highland cows. The space is well equipped, the surrounds are so peaceful, and the host is very responsive.

The hosts are most welcoming, the lodging impeccable and we enjoyed watching the sheep on one side and the hares on the other :)) Close enough for day trips to Dunedin and the Catlins. Gilles and Bibiane, Canada

Just a short scenic drive from Fairlie. Beautiful setting with a expansive view of the rolling hills. House is large and well furnished with a designers touch. Place was very clean and very private. Had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

For a wandering furry hook flinger - Wendy and Warricks “Tin Shed” was the perfect base for exploring the best of the Fijord regions’ rivers and streams. The Crib was just so comfortable, serenely quiet and peaceful. The view was spectacular - especially on sunset. Every b&b necessity provided with so many thoughtful touches - milk, eggs, bread, muffins, homemade jams and yoghurt, cereals and all the essential condiments necessary for making your own meal. Just a perfect settup. Bed exceptionally comfortable and linen the best. Thoroughly outstanding BNB for a couple or single traveller. One of the best I have experienced! Highly recommended. Andrew.

Amazing oasis in Wānaka. Would totally recommend if you’re looking for something that makes it easy to be comfortable, beautiful views and close to all the town as to offer.

Tony went above and beyond for us. We arrived very late from cycling in and Tony had got some of the most delicious pies for us as the town had closed already. Very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely come back!
