Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit gigantischem Ausblick. Der Bus liegt auf einer Anhöhe, wo nicht mal die Straße auf Google Maps eingezeichnet ist. Die Besitzer wohnen mit auf der Anhöhe und sind super lieb und waren bemüht damit es uns gut ging. Die Sonnenaufgänge sind wunderschön. Sehr empfehlenswert.

We stayed one night and we loved it! Outdoor shower and toilet super comfortable, kitchen was equipped and place itself very comfy and quiet. Would book it again:)

We can’t say enough good things about our stay with Agnate. Herself and her entire family are kind, helpful, respect privacy, and a joy to chat with. We had a plenty of time to ourselves, but I also feel we now have friends in Barrytown. Not to mention the location and the view—unbeatable!

Some of the other reviews are so harsh - this place is accurately described and you know what you’re getting when you book. In fact, when we arrived it surpassed our expectations completely. There aren’t really pictures of the bathroom facilities which had us worried but it’s really smart and modern with a proper shower cubicle with nice hot water and great water pressure and a separate modern toilet. We loved all the quirky antiques which kept us entertained. The grounds on which the carousel sits are beautiful - there are seats, tables, benches and a huge lawn and you can even play table tennis in the beautiful conservatory. Really well located in Te Anau - very easy to get places.

Kevin's House Truck was great - funky, comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed. Location is great, close to Kaikōura and all the major tours and activities. It's a shame we only had one night to stay here because we could have easily stayed longer.

Great little place, very simple, clean, warm and comfortable. Fast WiFi. It's cozy and I enjoyed my stay, the bed was very comfortable . It's an easy walk to town and around the corner is the main road with lots of bus stops. I would stay again.

A fantastic spot to relax and unwind. The location is pristine. They have a lovely land area for the Caravan and the river is right there. Great views all around. On arrival they recommend going in to the driveway past their house, which is into the separate land where the caravans are located. There are some trees and branches around so be mindful when parking, but there is plenty of space. There are 3 caravans here, but only one in use on my arrival. The firepit depends if fire bans are in place or not. Beautiful location with nice setting. Outdoor seats are aplenty, walkways, close to local shops (fantastic bakery and takeaway here). Caravan is as expected but be aware the bed is a 'double' at max and would be hard to fit two people in, but the caravan has a single lay flat bench seat that can be doubled as a bed if need be. Linen and bed was comfy and very wam; although cold at night outside, in the bed was fine! Outdoor shared shower, toilet, kitchen and hot tub. All fine!

Fantastic spot to stay near Takaka - the caravan is beautiful and comfortable! Robynne and her husband are lovely hosts and we very much enjoyed our stay here. Will definitely be looking to book here again next time we visit Golden Bay!

Donna met us for our check-in to show us where everything was located and how to use anything in the RV. Donna was so friendly and lovely to speak to. She told us about the area, things to do and provided great recommendations. The accomodation was comfortable, relaxing, had everything we needed and had beautiful views with some cute neighbours (sheep and deer). We will definitely be back!

Kate has a lovely and cozy little place called Lolly that’s freshly painted and economically designed. Having a private outdoor little area was also nice, and access to the kitchen and bathrooms quite a short distance away.

The cabin was as described, nice and cosy. Very convenient place to stay while passing through Queenstown for a night or two.

Lovely cheap, cheerful and cozy little pop top. Good kitchen set up. Spa next to pop top which is shared with other guests. Great hosts!

I accidentally booked this accommodation while Keisha just gave birth to a baby. However she made her best to offer me everything I need. It's my first time staying in a campervan, and I got to say that I love it!

Exceptional view and great on the budget. Will need to bring own light source and powerbank to use your own devices. Reception is excellent! Recommended!

This tiny home was such a treat to stay at. It felt so peaceful and private. The pets that roam around are all very cute and sweet. It really is like another little world and the surroundings of the property are gorgeous. Having the beautiful springs just down the road was awesome as well we’re able to see them easily on our way back to Nelson. Lolly and Simon have really made this place so cozy and I’m so happy that we found this little gem.

Needed an affordable place, near to the city for a few days and this ticked all the boxes. Vera and Stan were lovely hosts, always willing to help and sort any issues. Short distance to the beach was a bonus.

Glen’s caravan is great and spacious with very well arranged furniture and super comfortable bed (easily the best bed we’ve used in any trips). Glen is very hospitable and the two labradors he has just adds fun to our 10yo son’s first trip to NZ. We look forward to staying at his caravan again next time we visit Queenstown

We had the pleasure of being the first guests at Glenda's place, what a wonderful experience! My partner, our 1 year old daughter and I were only going to spend 2 nights in Wanaka, but after a few hours in this brand new, fully equipped, cozy RV with beautiful surroundings and views, we decided to extend our stay until the end of our vacation. The RV is really spacious, the kitchen is equipped with lots of new appliances and we enjoyed cooking at home in the evenings. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed. We loved having a cup of tea or a beer at sunset on our chairs in the garden overlooking the mountains while our daughter ran around and played! Glenda and Graeme were very friendly and helped us with every need and little problem we had, they even surprised us with a nice welcome gift in the fridge! Only 5 minutes drive from Wanaka town center, a quiet private corner that we definitely recommend to book :)

Anne's Fairytale Cottage feels very homey, it is well decorated with personable items, it's cozy, has a well equipped kitchen, with laundry, and had everything we needed to enjoy a home cooked meal. Anne was super helpful on arrival, and responded really quick in case of the occasional question. Most of all, Anne was really friendly, it was nice to meet her.

In short, one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at (and we have been to quite a few). My partner and I spend 2 weeks in the Best Island Bus and had the most amazing time. We honestly barely left the property because we enjoyed it so much! The location is beautiful and so calming - your stress is immediately gone as you hang in the hammock and watch the birds in the trees. It was the best place to disconnect and rest. The bus is fully equipped and so well done - has everything you could want! Simon and Clare are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. You can tell how much love and thought they have put into this place and they go above and beyond for their guests. Would recommend this to everyone! We would come back in a heartbeat and were sad to leave.
